The food was so delicious. location is also good. The bunglow is super clean. Look no further!

I recently stayed at the dog on the hill that exceeded all my expectations. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Their friendly dogs were a delightful bonus, adding to the homely atmosphere with their playful and affectionate nature. The view from the homestay was nothing short of breathtaking. Waking up to stunning landscapes was a highlight of my stay. The environment was serene and picturesque, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the best parts of my experience was the opportunity to make new friends. I met some truly wonderful people during my stay. The combination of a great host, friendly dogs, beautiful views, and new friendships made this homestay an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

A colonial era bungalow with a lot of antique decor. We were lucky to witness the winterline in all its glory from the beautiful patio. Impeccable service by Uttam needs special mention.

Amteshwar is a great host. The place is as described. My mom stayed there for a month while she was in India for eye surgery. She was extremely happy with her stay and the amenities offered including the beautifully maintained garden and plants. There's a cook at home and she makes delicious food as requested and it's very reasonably priced. The location is central to every place you'd wanna check out in chardigarh and there's a bunch of options for transportation, readily available. Amteshwar is also helpful and can provide local recommendations and arrange transportation if required. He's also very flexible and worked with my mom when she needed a few extra days over the one month stay that was initially booked. I would definitely book another stay there and absolutely recommend this place.

My two friends and I visited "For a while" in September 2016 and this was certainly one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had in my entire life. The sheer natural beauty of the valley alongwith the warmth of Debapriya, Shalini and the staff at For A While made this a magical experience for us. The attention to detail is hard to miss in this place. Right from the decor of the place to the constant communication by the hosts during our journey to their constant attention to our stated (and unstated) needs....made us feel at home even before we got to the place :) The place can be reached after a bumpy ride during the last stretch (of 2 km)....but it is totally totally worth it. This is perfect for anyone who wants to undergo a digital detox, just be in the lap of nature and experience small joys like climbing hills, walking along the river, collecting wild flowers or just chilling by the cottage with a book. Additionally, we were treated to lip smackingly delicious meals every single day wherein some of the ingredients were freshly grown in the vegetable patch nearby. Our evenings were spent over long conversations with the hosts and musings under a phenomenally starry sky. As if all of this wasnt enough....we actually saw two shooting stars and a rainbow! Such fun! On one of the days we drove up to the Jalori Pass (which is a 3 hour drive from here) and our hosts very thoughtfully packed a picnic basket for us....which we relished when we were starving during our hike. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy the hills, valleys and rivers in a rustic and warm space....and rediscover the many joys that can be found by just wandering around :)

We spent 5 nights & Diwali in this charming place, exactly as described in the listing and worthy of every great review it has received. Aseem & Neetu Verma manage the place very professionally with much consideration to comfort, cleanliness & aesthetics. Their personal touches, care for detail and thoughtfulness touched us to the core. Their staff is extremely helpful and pleasant, rooms are very comfortable, view is great from the balcony & we were treated to delicious, large spread of food, prepared hygienically with fresh local produce, all served with love. Inclusion in their Diwali festivities & fireworks (without any additional charge) made us feel like family & shows their large heartedness and genuine love for people. This was one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve experienced. The hosts were warm and welcoming. Their friendly and jolly nature made us feel at home. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Since we visited in November the room got really cold at night; so it would’ve been nice to have a heater. The views from the cliffs are stunning. You can see the town and also the mountains. I highly recommend this airbnb to anybody visiting Dharamshala :)

We had a wonderful stay of 5 nights in May 2024 at Warehouse. It was a delight interacting with auntieji (the owner) and Manan (the property manager). The staff too was very polite and addressed our needs promptly. Manan gave us great recommendations on places to visit and eat. We stayed in the Komfort Plus room which was spacious and well maintained and had hot shower 24x7. The view from the balcony of the apple orchards and mountains was amazing. Warehouse is perfectly located to reach the starting point of Hampta pass trek. We did the day hike to Chika (which is the first day of the Hampta pass trek) and it was by far the best experience we had in Manali. We truly had a wonderful stay; and auntieji and Manan have got the people aspect spot on !

My experience with air bnb has not always been great and this time I was quite skeptical because I was traveling with my 6 month old baby. I was praying really hard that I don't run into any big issues. But I was pleasantly surprised to see that the place is very, very close to what the pictures show. The description about the place is very accurate and honest and that's why I didn't mind climbing those stairs and the view from the top TOTALLY makes the effort worth it! The absolute BEST part about this place- the warmth and hospitality of the host and the caretakers. They were ALWAYS just a phone call away. Property's care takers, Sandeep and Arjun, are super helpful and serve the most delicious breakfast. I would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting mussoorie. The rooms are massive and so well equipped. The deck area is the perfect place to soak up some sun and enjoy your meals. The location is the second best thing about the place- you are so close to the mall road but don't run into any bad traffic situations. 10/10 for the place and the entire experience.

Our stay at Vara was like a second home admist lush green forests. Dr. Vishal was an excellent host and made us feel comfortable at all times. Their beautiful home is equipped with all amenities, and their cook Bablu served us with delicious homely meals that were enjoyed equally by us and our toddler. Our stay was short but certainly rejuvenated us, and we will miss waking up to pristine sunshine, cool breeze and melodies of birds and river. We look forward to our return to this lovely place.

Liat's stay is towards old manali, about 500m from after crossing the old manali bridge. There are a few stairs that go up from the road to the property. The hosts are very responsive on phone, and helped us get warm and dry when we reached since it was snowing and raining heavily. The place has a few good eateries along the road leading to it, and the hosts offer to prepare basic meals for you if you let them know in advance. Rooms are clean and spacious and a heater is provided for an extra charge, which could be included in the room tariff during peak winters. Mall road is 20 minutes by walk, and there are a lot of rustic cafes in old manali at around 700-800m distance. Overall our stay was very good and the communication from the hosts was impeccable. The view from the property is very beautiful!
