Family-friendly holiday rentals in Hirafu

The house was beautiful and really well kept. We were close to Anapuri and Niseko so lots of skiing options and several places to eat nearby. We'd come back for sure

I can't believe it's my fourth time staying at maki's lovely home. that's how much I love this place, it truly feels like home to me. and just when I thought maki couldn't get any nicer or kinder, our car got stuck in a ditch and she got her parents to help us tow it out. amazing, amazing hospitality as always, my friend. thank you.

What an awesome experience we had in Niseko. This house has everything you need for a weekend getaway in the mountains. I mean, there’s an onsen…What more could you need? The location was also perfect. A quick drive into town/the local mountains but this place is tucked away on the Moiwa side so it’s super quiet at night. Loads of beds. Tons of space to spread out in the family room. 10/10 would stay again!

The place was beautiful and is located at the top floor of a building - this gives us beautiful views of Mt Youtei and convenient access to restaurants and even Arabica nearby! Do note that the restaurants do close rather early in July - perhaps due to lull season. The signs on the entrance also indicated that checkin had to be done at a different building which we were not informed prior of but they are walkable in 1 to 2 mins and the host was really responsive so great stay!

Managed by a good group of services, room clean business It was worth noting that the location indicated on the map first was a bit off, not the proximity to the ski slopes as imagined

place is easy to find and generally very clean, my kids liked the property. There was a jacuzzi in the balcony which was nice feature. Property is located very central in hirafu

Zangetsu was perfect for our group of 6 adults. The layout was perfect, with bedrooms on the lower level so early sleepers weren’t disturbed by those staying up. There were no close neighbours who could be heard or hear us, so it was very peaceful. It was a 10 minute walk to the shops, another ( to the gondola), uphill. There was a free shuttle from around the corner which was good as long as you made sure to check arrival times (and make sure to get the correct line home - lower Hirafu). We couldn’t have asked for more. Except soy sauce. That would be a great addition.

This Airbnb didn’t match its description… it was EVEN BETTER! From the listing I had no idea it would be so bouji. We walked into a newly build 3 story house with a garage with racks for skis and snowboards, heated gear/mudroom for drying ski clothes, then went to the 2nd story which also had a mudroom entrance, a HUGE master bedroom which took up most of the 2nd floor with its own private bathroom and a 2nd bedroom and bathroom on this floor. Then the 3rd floor had an awesome game room, beautiful living room and kitchen with every amenity you could need, 2 more bedrooms, and a toilet. It was very private with great views of Mt Yotei and Niseko United. The snow clearing is useful and efficient as they plow the driveway and shovel the front steps. This place really had it all and the hosts thought of everything. It’s amazing value for what you are getting and we easily fit 5 people with ample room. If I find myself in Niseko again I will absolutely be staying here.

Paul’s home was a great find in Niseko! The shuttle stop was right outside the door and Paul was incredibly responsive with any question that we had. If we came back to Niseko we would 100% stay here again.

If you're looking for great value, H-Two has got you covered! The amenities were spot-on, with everything we needed right at our fingertips. The welcome pack was a delightful touch—such a nice surprise! Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, making the whole process a breeze. The cherry on top? We got a lift to the office for our airport transfer, which made handling our 12 bags feel like a walk in the park. Comfortable, safe, and incredibly thoughtful service all around!

The location of the house is good, the host is good value for money. There is no heating in the house. No pick up.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Its an easy walk to Moiwa and 2 hotel Onsens. Management company is very thorough and responsive and reliable. We had a leak in a boiler and the heat went out but they brought us portable kerosene heaters to use. Snow removal was daily and on point so we were able to do minimal work to clear our vehicle for early departures and easy parking. Downside but not a deal breaker for us was only one toilet on the ground floor... would be nice to have an additional 2nd floor bathroom especially when we had 6 people staying there... plenty of room in the house.. strange that they only built the house with one toilet. Its right on the main road so traffic passing regularly a few meters from the front door may be a factor for some who want a secluded location... we found that it didn't really create much noise or problems for us. Kitchen was sufficient and meals were easy to prepare. Biggest plus of this place is ease of location especially if you have a car.

Fantastic spot for travelers to Niseko who have a vehicle and want to be a bit away from the busy resort area - still very close to everything and more affordable than the resorts we saw. The home had everything we needed for 4 days of skiing. Paul was extremely helpful and responsive to all our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location to ski in Hirafu. Definitely expensive but it worked out well for our family. A fireplace and covered garage would have been an added bonus but Paul was helpful in getting us a brush to clean off the car. They’re not kidding about the snow. Makes for some amazing skiing. Thanks Paul!
