Cottage holiday rentals in Holywood

We recently stayed at this incredible place and can’t believe I didn’t find it sooner! With breathtaking views of the Mourne Mountains and the tranquility of the countryside, it was the perfect escape. The house is fully equipped and feels like a home away from home. The hot tub was the cherry on top, offering a relaxing soak with stunning scenery. Brendan, the host, is very responsive and truly values his guests, making the experience even better. The pictures don’t do this place justice—it’s even more beautiful in person! We left rejuvenated and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Mike's place was just beautiful and peaceful. Me and my boyfriend had an amazing time and enjoyed the projector for movies, the hottub all day and especially at night watching the stars. The beautiful little kitchen made us feel like we were just at home. Mike himself was and amazing cosy and so helpful. We will definitely be back. Thank you

We stayed here last minute getaway after a few hard weeks working. Really glad we did. We were met by the owners Son Mark who showed us everything we needed to know, plus there is a book in the kitchen just incase! The cottage was absolutely beautiful. Old but modern. Clean as a whistle. Has everything you need. The hot tub was an added bonus and we were able to connect with Bluetooth to play music! Would definitely go back! Thanks Yvonne and Mark

David was absolutely lovely and fantastic at helping us get immersed in his experience. He was also extremely informative on the local things to do and where to go. He was very kind and a very good character. He evidently works very hard on his properties and his efforts as a film director have definitely shone through. Much recommended.

Absolutely a great place to stay. Very clean and plenty of room!! So cute!! Loved being on the water. Didn’t want to leave!

Riverside cottage was so perfect in every way from the warm welcome from Alan to the lovely treats. The cottage is fab, it’s beautifully decorated, the hot tub is a great touch, we had a memorable stay and will definitely return again soon 🤩

Steen’s cottage was immaculate, cosy and tastefully renovated. We had a very enjoyable and peaceful time and the welcome pack was a thoughtful addition. There were lots of lovely walks nearby and a beautiful outlook. Highly recommended.

Brilliant night away with my husband and two children (9/5) and toddler (aged 2) Jennifer couldn't do enough to help make our stay special she offered us a travel cot/high chair and had a stair gate for my toddler coming to stay even though it states the house isn't suitable for under 5's so thank you! Jennifer also willing to let us into the property a little earlier than check in time if I needed it. The property had amazing views and I loved the extra little touches like yoga mats (with books 2 help do poses) and a telescope with a book that told the children all bout the birds. The board games where also a nice touch. My only draw back was the sofa/ dining chairs could be a little more comfier but I can see it is a small space and rental property so it's finding the balance. We only stayed one night on this occasion so it was no big deal. Thank you for a fab stay and I will be recommending this place to friends/family.

My husband, daughter, cokapoo and I wanted Christmas just us, away from it all and Joanna's place was exactly what we wanted. The cottage is beautiful with amazing original features and the cosiest livingroom ever! The garden is amazing for dogs but not secure so if your pooch likes to wander, keep an eye. Our dog doesn't run off so we were happy to let her sniff and run around enjoying herself. The kitchen could have been a bit cleaner but everywhere else was spotless. Joanna was easy to communicate with and very kind with the early check in and wood for the fire. Thank you Joanna!

The cottage was excellent in every way. Well-fitted out and spotless. John and Roberta were responsive, engaging hosts. A month was well spent, indeed. We could recommend the cottage without hesitation!

We had a lovely few day's exploring the Ards Peninsula. Accommodation was perfect for what we wanted. Barney our dog had a fab time on many lovely walks. We will visit again. Hopefully staying at Lagoon View Cottage

Exceeded our expectations for sure. Enjoyed every minute. Host went out of her way to meet with us. Cottage did not lack anything. Area was quite and in the middle of nature.

Turtle Cottage was a relaxing and peaceful place to stay. Our family all gathered there for a weekend and it had everything we needed. The traditional interior was lovely and even better than the photos. It really felt like we were staying in a home, which we appreciated. The trails around the house were magical and you are right on the water for exploring local wildlife so although the area is quiet there is so much to do, as well as everything for tennis, water activities and dvds inside the house. We loved it. Thank you for having us Tara!

A beautiful and tranquil retreat, bathed in natural light and beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. Our host was warm and welcoming, providing not only valuable local insights but also a thoughtfully curated selection of high-quality breakfast items. The property's location, just a short walk from the beach, is a fantastic bonus. A truly delightful stay—we hope to return soon!
