Holiday rentals with a kayak in Homosassa

I really enjoyed my stay here! The hosts were very accommodating with any questions I had, and our group absolutely loved kayaking to Homosassa river straight from the Airbnb! The location was so beautiful and lush, and I would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent stay at Joy's place. Everything was perfect, Joy and her family go above and beyond to make this a five star experience. We enjoyed kayaking and paddleboarding in the springs, only a 5 minute paddle from the house to Homosassa Spring. My only regret is we didn't stay longer.

We had a great stay! A did a little fishing, swam with manatees, hiked, kayaked and enjoying area restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home! The host was very helpful and responsive. The highlight of our stay was definitely the ability to kayak right out the back door - we paddled out into Mud River Springs and saw manatees absolutely everywhere. It was a magical experience! The yard was peaceful and it was relaxing to sit out with coffee on the deck and watch the wildlife (squirrels, birds, fish). Situated in a small quiet neighborhood (but still close to all the activities we came to the area for), we couldn’t have imagined a more peaceful place to spend our week. We really loved this spot and hope to enjoy it again someday!

David was a gentleman and a scholar!! Appreciate the clear (and simple) communication, especially the easily memorable door code set specifically for us. House was exactly as pictured and described, clean and open, made for an excellent friend’s vacay. Ice machine was a plus as was beautiful entertainment kitchen. Thank you for providing adequate paper and plastic goods, makes for an easy vacation. House is very well equipped with clean, new and well organized kitchen and bathroom goods. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Our party of 8 had a wonderful 4 days paddling in the Weeki Wachie and Chaz rivers. The kayaks and all equipment provided were great. The befs were very comfortable . We found the home to be very well equipped and on a perfect spot on the river. We could sit on the dock and see manatees and enjoy watching the kayakers and boaters going by while grilling outdoors. We would definitely stay here again. The host was extremely accommodating and easy to reach.

Great place to stay and kayak on the river! Comfortable beds with clean towels and linens. There are some games for rainy days. Linda anticipated every need with clear instructions and amenities. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with our family!

Our first visit to Homosassa was nothing short of incredible! From the stunning views to the abundance of nature, every moment felt like a dream. Sally’s place was absolutely beautiful—warm, inviting, and perfectly situated for an unforgettable stay. We truly weren’t ready to leave! Exploring the breathtaking Weeki Wachee was an experience we’ll never forget, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

Off the beaten path, yet close proximity to a number of unique and cool things to do. (Like the animal park, or seafood restaurants) Hosts provide a number of local recommendations and things such as Starbucks or Grocery stores are nearby. Great location near the waterway that leads to other places to explore by kayaks provided by the hosts. Definitely will consider this place again when we return to the area.

The screened patio was our #1 favorite amenity. Use of the carport was great too and the gates offered extra privacy The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We did not use the boat ramp or the kayaks but I can see where both would be beneficial. I would have liked a luggage rack. Unfortunately the sheets on the bed were stained so we remade the bed with the extras there. We had an issue with a remote too and both problems were addressed by Summer and Rebecca in a timely manner. This is a nice little cottage. Perfect for two people.

It was such a peaceful stay. The sounds of nature was abundant. Its a very nice place to stay and eould definitely stay again.

Very nice house on the lake. A peaceful place to unwind. Very well decorated and comfortable. The instructions were very clear. Too bad we didn't have time to stay longer.

Brian’s cottage is the perfect getaway. You can see the water right out the front door. Wonderful sitting area enclosed to keep the bugs away. Brian is right next door and super responsive if you need anything. Two thumbs up.

We had a great time trading the Indiana cold for manatees, fresh seafood, warm weather and beachside sunsets. The place was perfect with great amenities!

Had a great stay. Was clean with plenty of amenities and furniture. Towels are cute with the name of the house on them. Nice decor. Good location for kayaking and easy to launch due to the steps. Nice big yard with a fire pit. good guestbook where numerous people have written tips of places to go and what they’ve enjoyed. Responsive host. We would stay again.

It was a beautiful place to stay. Perfect place to disconnect your self from everything. We love our stay!!! The cabin was just perfect for the 3 of us. Love the River and the screened porch.

We had a great time and particularly enjoyed the free kayaks. All in all great accomodation and we could have easily imagined to stay a whole week.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. It was a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, just perfect for a short respite from life. My 17 year old and I got to spend some quality time together, something we don’t get to do often with so many distractions. The cabin had most of what we needed and anything else was available at the Dollar General store just 15 minutes away. The host was very friendly and responsive as well. Highly recommend!

The listing for this place was more than we had expected. The host had ample items in the kitchen for us to use to cook with. They have starter bathroom supplies to for those who travel from plane to use, other than toothbrush and paste. For those outdoor enthusiasts, they have floating devices to use and even some kayaks to take to their private park to launch into the rainbow river. They responded very quickly when we had a question. I tell you we felt very welcome and will try to return, but for a longer stay next time.

Home and location were perfect, just as described. We will definitely come back.

Clean and comfortable. Provided the good rest and recuperation we were seeking. Cool at night, pleasantly warm during the day. Nearby drink and food great. Highly recommend the air goat ride.

Nice and secluded, yet close to rainbow river. access to the private park was a nice perk. Only complaint was grill wasn't clean, and the upstairs bed wasn't comfortable...master bed was great though.
