Life rhythm simple living close to nature!

The life rhythm in the cottage is basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly created food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

Atmospheric guest house/ cottage. The guest house is cosy and spacious. The porch is lovely to sit. The property has a private terrace. From the terrace there is an unobstructed view (on the garden, horse box and meadow). Private use of a private kitchen, bathroom, bedroom(s). Beautifully located in a rural spot with spacious terrace and garden. The nature reserve 't Roegwold and the Fraeylemaborg are steps away. Supermarket 1.5 km. Schildmeer at 7 km. The city of Groningen is easily accessible.

B&B de Bovenbouw: Loft in characteristic school

In the school building where we live as a family we have transformed the upper building into B&B. In the 5 meter high room we built a loft where there is a double bed and there are 2 children's rooms. We give sports lessons in the gym in the building, feel free to join or go monkey cages with your children when it rains. Outside they can feed the chickens and roosters, cycling / stepping around the square and directly in front of the school is a playground. 5 min away a beach/nature reserve.

Chateau Weiland is a lovely bright cottage with its own entrance plus views of the countryside. A good bed and a nice shower. Equipped with all the comforts such as well-functioning internet (fiber optic) , air conditioning,and a kitchenette. Op wandelafstand van het gezellige Gieten met heerlijke verse broodjes of een Gieterkoek bij de bakker. Hier vind je de supermarkt en leuke restaurants. Op de fiets ben je zo in de Drentse staatsbossen met het mooie Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad en eeuwenoude hunebedden.
