Guest house holiday rentals in Hopkins

This place was great. I didn’t realize they had kayaks and hammock so that was a nice bonus. Super clean very comfortable. There is a bar close by that was kind of loud, but I expected that because I had read the reviews and it wasn’t like that the first night we were there but the second night was a weekend night, so I kind of expected that. The water was very calm and it was great to have a kayak. The grounds are small, but immaculate. It was nice to visit with other people as they would sit on the porch or on the beach. Next-door to a supermarket was also very convenient.

Angel was responsive and informative. The Inn is located so close to the beach! It was well maintained and private. There was a grocery store very close by and many restaurants within walking distance. Parking was easy.

The White Horse Inn is adorable. I think it's more picturesque from the outside than the photos let on. We did have some trouble finding the host when we arrived (there did not appear to be an easily identifiable reception desk), and therefore took a while to be able to access our room, but this was no problem because we spent that time on the beach immediately outside the hotel. The location is spectacular -- mere meters from the water, with spotless sand and coconut trees with lounge chairs. Ella's Cool Spot is great for food. The AC works great in the rooms, as does the hot water. We would absolutely stay here again.

Loved staying here. I’ve stayed at a few different spots in Hopkins and this is one of my favorites. Great location and lovely beach. Angel is the host and he’s attentive and very friendly. AC works perfectly and bed is comfy. I’ll miss this spot til I come back.

My experience at the Kismet inn will stay in my heart for a long time to come. I cannot recommend staying it enough—words and pictures don’t do it justice. I was so lucky to book a last-minute stay (fate). I haven’t stopped talking about it since. Every step of the way, Tricia was incredibly communicative, welcoming, and the most artful host I’ve ever met. She creates a true sense of community among locals and travelers alike. Even those not staying at the inn were drawn to its unique, creative energy. This is a place to find peace, build connections, and enjoy the sea. And the food—every night, Tricia, Elvis, and friends serve fresh, wholesome meals, often paired with coconut juice and rum. You can spend hours sharing stories or step outside to discover peace and a slice of beach. Hopkins itself is a calm, beautiful town to explore and is an ideal spot to stay in Belize. Idk how I stuck with my flight back but I do know the kismet is with me and I will return to it soon enough- Go!

I want to say that the host was amazing and kind. Our original airbnb cancelled last minute and Novalyn’s place was the only available place. My hubby and I were bit a sketchy of this place because we don’t like sharing a livingroom or common areas. The pictures make the place look like a Hostel , but it is NOT. It is a very welcoming hotel with a reception and lobby with small appliances we all share. Plus cold and hot water dispenser. Our room had cold AC. The water pressure was the best out of 6 Airbnb’s we stayed at in Belize. The location was prime. For the price this place was great. Plenty of parking next to it. Food and store right in front. The beach one minute walk away or less. Hopkins will Forever be my favorite city in Belize. Best food spot for breakfast Peers Restaurant . For lunch and dinner with the best clean and relaxing view is Lime restaurant . Food is great on both. Lastly try Queen Beans food. Queen beans is also a tiny bar with some swings next to the ocean

Beautiful spot on the beach, right in the village within easy walking distance of everything we needed. Our kids entertained themselves on the beach and made friends with some of the local boys. It was a truly wonderful stay.

Jada's friend was very nice and waiting for meg at the bus station even she couln't be sure which bus I took. The house is very nice, and can fit 4 people (2 rooms with 2 double bed)..The house is being renovated now, but it was fully ok, there were many things in the kitchen to cook, also Jada was nice and provided water was in the fridge. I only couldn't find the trash bin but that was maybe my mistake and during the night there was a very strong wind which made moving some doors which couldn't be closed yet, but there were chairs and pillows which helped to solvet he problem quickly. The location is in a very calm street but 20-30 minutes walking necessary to reach the dock or the main street.
