This was the perfect solo getaway! I visited 2 nights in April. Everything was so green! The cabin was exceptional. I could easily have stayed an additional night. The hosts thought of everything. Space is limited but well laid-out and well stocked. There are nice touches like games, a coloring book & rocks to add to the garden. Bed was hands-down the most comfortable mattress I've ever been on. TV has a Netflix account for guest use. The driveway is very tight - prepare to be cautious, especially with larger trucks/SUVs. Spiral staircase is tight so best to pack smaller bags. Dumbwaiter was super helpful. The kitchen is tiny as pictured). I filled the mini fridge & kept extra items in a cooler bag. Was glad I brought an ice tray. It was fairly quiet aside from the occasional teen neighbors riding by in golf carts. In the mornings, I enjoyed birds chirping, some cow moos and chicken crows from the deck. Bugs will fly in (swatters provided) but that's expected. Highly recommend!

Kathy's place is the perfect spot to visit Sulphur Springs and the surrounding area. It is only a few minutes drive to the quaint downtown area. Slaughter's BBQ is some of the best that we have ever had (we have visited many of the famed 50 Best BBQ in TX locations). The house is very clean, the beds were so comfortable and the water pressure in the showers was incredible. Kathy provides everything you need for a quality stay. Above and Beyond - Kathy helped coordinate having flowers delivered for a surprise birthday gift. Kathy and her husband were aware that we were going to use the fire pit and that there was rain in the forecast so they made sure there was dry wood under the carport for us to use. We have stayed at Airbnb's all over the world and Kathy is one of the most gracious hosts ever.

'Gran's Getaway' - Peaceful Texas Retreat

Gran's Getaway was a fantastic experience for my entire family. We had my parents and sibilings come in town for Christmas and decided we wanted a bigger space to host our get together. It was such a great decision and we couldn't be more pleased. The farmhouse was immaculate and homey. The kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils and cookware (would recommend throwing a blender in there though lol). However, this was communicated to me ahead of our stay. The host was responsive and friendly. All in all, my family and I left feeling super connected and happy after our time at Gran's. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat to make lasting memories, this is an excellent choice. And finally, the views from the sunroom and back porch were incredible!! Thank you for hosting or Christmas celebration!

Our stay was quiet and peaceful. Very scenic and lots of wildlife, dear, birds, squirrels. The cranes at the pond were lots of fun watching. Let and was very responsive with communication and directions. Had a blast and napped a ton, great break from big city hustle and bustle!! Best equipped kitchen yet!

Callie was amazing! very helpful and communication was great! the house even though it was old that is literally what gave ot is character! the furniture and detail in the house to the chandeliers to the lights and then tubs was beautiful and amazing!!! thank you so much!! we will definitely be back again!!!

We enjoyed our stay in Sulphur Springs with 2 kids, Grandma and the dog! I loved the pantry, the cleaning necessities provided and no cleaning fee! Also, when the internet went out, we watched movies on DVD! Natalie was super responsive as well. Thanks for a comfortable stay!

Easy to find just outside of town yet private. Very beautiful scenery and peaceful. Pool was nice, plenty of seating inside and out. Firepit, fireplace inside and out on patio. Kitchen very nice and plenty of room. Lawana sent directions and details right in time and checked to see if we made it there on . Very responsive!

Troy's place was very warm and friendly. Plenty of room and the kids absolutely loved the Ping Pong/Pool Table! Watching the cows in the morning while sipping coffe was very relaxing and it was close to the downtown area for activities!

Lovely little place, quiet and peaceful. The layout of this tiny house was great - did not feel cramped into the space. Nice porch with rocking chairs and a 2nd table with chairs and umbrella in the yard. Has plenty of dishes, appliances, etc., to be livable for more than just a weekend. Nice bed with lots of big pillows. Got to meet Diane and Scotty - nice folks! Would definitely stay here again (or in one of their other places nearby) if we visit the area again!

This was a cute Tiny home cabin style. It has a kitchen, living room, bathroom with tub/shower, master bedroom, screened-in porch, and side porch. It is located in an RV park with a duck pond. The area was very quiet and peaceful. The porch was perfect for having morning coffee. The neighbors were great and friendly. The home is just south of Sulphur Springs with cute restaurants, a city square that hosts music, and a farmers market. The town has amenities and shopping. There are local restaurants and big chain restaurants within five miles.

Sweet Honey was the perfect little get away place I was looking for. The location was perfect, close to everything, had everything I needed & felt right at home. Jasmine was beyond sweet. Loved the whole family. It felt like home and no worries about anything. I could never find a deal like this so I appreciate the opportunity to have a 7 day silent retreat all by myself. Great location. Also was blessed by a sweet gift from Jasmine🥹
