Holiday rentals in Horsehay

Silvie's Cottage is a true delight! Welcoming, extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean and feels like a home from home with lots of extra touches. Off road parking in a lovely residential street which is only a short stroll into Church Stretton and a choice of walks straight from the door with no need to use a car. The garden is lovely and adds to the overall atmosphere of a warm welcoming cottage. We loved our few days stay, would highly recommend and plan to return again....hopefully soon! Had everything we needed and very clean. Seamless check-in and instructions. Beautiful setting and a perfect location for our Alton Towers Visit the next day, was only a 5 minute drive away.

The place where you live out your dreams!!! Sitting watching the stars glisten from the hot tub listening to the night sounds. Watching the sun set with a roaring fire and waking up to most amazing views and spending time with the cutest animals! Honestly can’t fault it/ slept like a log on both nights and really didn’t want to leave. The personal touches were absolutely amazing too with the little treats really appreciated xxx

What an absolute gem!! The location of the lodge is fantastic, beautifully peaceful countryside with only the birds and local farm animals in sight and earshot. The photos really do not do it justice, the feel inside is super cosy and well equipped. Outside is on another level - the views over the fields, private hot tub and sauna as well as various different seating areas make it stand out. We had planned to walk to the local pub but we were having such a relaxing time we decided not to leave at all! We had asked for the hot tub to be warmed for when we got there, the only thing I will say is bring your fire making abilities with you as you'll need them! Michelle was a great host, she was very responsive both prior to the stay and during, and met us there to let us in, nothing was too much trouble. The return trip is already in discussions!

Had a great stay at The Alders there were 6 of us . Had space for both cars… soo close to Alton Towers- we stayed for our daughters 16th Birthday… we grabbed a take out in Cheadle and went to the BullsHead inn a couple of minutes walk from the accommodation- would definitely recommend a stay here

The bungalow was ideal for our stay. Located in a quiet village outside of Shrewsbury it was still easy to get into the town, and also to get about in Shropshire. The furnishings were unique and interesting, but still all required amenities were provided and easy to use and the bungalow was comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Mary's place! The cottage is just as described and in a beautiful and peaceful location. All of the instructions Mary provided were easy to follow, and while we didn't meet in person, Mary was communicative and available if needs be. We hope to return again soon!

Beautiful place, was the perfect escape from the city for the weekend. Pip explained everything accurately and thoroughly and provided us with some logs for the fire which was great fun. The hut was beautiful and had everything we needed. The bath outside was perfect for a cold evening. Thanks Pip we had a great time!

We have stayed here a few times now and perfect location for visiting family and the local area. Great cottage with plenty of space!
