Holiday rentals in Hudson Bay

Excellent option for those visiting Churchill not on a package tour. The space was spotless, the location was central, and Roy was very communicative and helpful ahead of our trip with tour and taxi information. We enjoyed visiting with other guests in the communal spaces, but we also had two bathrooms to share and a private locked room. Highly recommended!

we had a great time staying at Roy's place it was just what we needed for a few days of fun in the snow and lovely wildlife around Churchill. The place is really set up to be more like a hostel than Airbnb and modest but fully functioning accommodations. would absolutely not hesitate to stay here again. Roy was super helpful

Had a great stay in Roy's place. His flexibility with check in was very helpful as I'd caught the train both ways! The place was in a great location, nicely kept and sociable with two bathrooms and great facilities.

The place is operated by a warm lovely family. You will enjoy talking with them. The internal environment is super beautiful, clean and tidy. It gives a sense of home, yet, it is far more cleaner as the host tidies up very frequently. I am glad that the place provides breakfast everyday, frankly the breakfast is just simple one, but it really adds mark as there is no restaurant opens until noon in Churchill. You should also try other services, say local tour or car rental, they are of quality. You will surely enjoy your staying and remember the nice host.

Daniels places was very clean and very cosy brilliant location to every thing lovely comfy beds and Daniel was on had to answer any questions if needed would highly recommend to friends and family and will definitely be back to churchill

Dave was a fantastic host. His place was lovey and there is so many interesting things and themes to explore in the house. Dave is a tour guide and Arctic researcher so the conversations were fantastic. There is so much to learn from him, and he had great recommendations. He offered a pick up from train station and always had hot coffee and tea available. The house was spotless and we were able to cook all our meals in the kitchen. We saw so much wildlife outside of his house, and the binoculars were a fantastic addition. Right on the front deck we were able to see the northern lights. It was only a 12 minute walk from all the destination in town. All the locals talked very highly of Dave too. We will definitely be staying with Dave again for our next visit in the summer. Roy’s Caribou Cottage is simply fantastic. My husband and I were very pleased with this stay. The cottage is warm and cozy, modern, and well stocked. Specifically, it’s very well equipped for cooking and relaxing. It’s quite big with comfortable beds and fresh towels. In addition, the cottage is spotless - so very clean. There are two big bathrooms, four bedrooms, a living room area, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer. Roy is quick to respond to any questions and is attentive, friendly, and available. My husband and I were catching the 8:30pm train from Churchill to Winnipeg and Roy let us stay (extra) that day without additional charge until our train departed, which was abundantly kind of him. Thank you, Roy, for such a nice experience. We will be sure to stay with you if we ever return to Churchill…. perhaps a summer trip!

We had a wonderful, most amazing trip! We traveled with 4 adults and 2 kids (7 & 2 year olds). The home had ample space for us all. It rained one of the five days there, so it was nice to be able to just stay in and play games with the family. We utilized the kitchen every day and also ate at all 6 restaurants there (Ptarmigan is delish). The town is small, so everything is in walking distance. Angela & Bram picked us up from the airport and gave us a tour of the town, while also stopping at the local grocery store so we could pick up milk and some groceries, on the way to the house. Another amazing fact about Angela is she is a photographer. We were able to schedule last mintue family pictures with her. She added a little more sprinkle of magic to our already fabulous trip. She is very helpful! We were lucky and one of the nights we saw the northern lights right from the comfort of the home. We just walked out on the porch and enjoyed the dancing lights!
