Holiday rentals with lake access in Hudson County

Mina and JC were very kind and helpful hosts! The neighborhood is beautiful and the home is peaceful and clean. I will be staying with them again! For those considering booking this space here a few things to consider that I found helpful: - Home layout: immediately when you walk in through the back door your room will be on the right side. Please note, this is genuinely a room inside someone's home, not a separate space outside the main home. - Commute: 45 minutes on the bus (~ 7-10 minute walk from the house & 30 minute bus ride). Download the NJ Transit app & purchase the 10 stop bus pass (It's cheaper. App is confusing though). Download the Transit app to know when the next bus will be arriving. SUGGESTION: Don't be like me and forget the room key INSIDE the room & lock it!! I got home late from the city and was so embarrassed to wake up the hosts and let them know I was locked out. Thankfully they were awake and so incredibly helpful. Overall, great service & great location!

Alex was super helpful and a wonderful host! He was above and beyond in making my stay as comfortable as possible. He worked around my schedule and adjusted for me and was super nice doing that as well! I would definitely recommend the place. Super accessible if you are planning on using public transport and good parking available if you decide to bring your own car. Overall, 12/10!!

Snezana is an exceptional host. She went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable. I wholeheartedly recommend her place to anyone looking to stay in this area. This was the best Airbnb experience I've had to date. I would love to come back again!

Everything was perfect in the house; the best part was staying with our dogs. We found everything clean and the parking in the building was awesome.

So grateful for this peaceful haven in Brooklyn. Veronica was a warm, welcoming - but never intrusive - host. Where to begin with how great this stay was? There's a small, beautiful, sweet cat who was a joy to come home to. Easy access to transport, spotlessly clean amenities, ultra dreamy mattress and warm covers. The guest room is overlooking the Q train, so if you're sensitive to nighttime noise, ear plugs would help.

Booked with plans to travel to NYC, it was very convenient to stay here. It is located on a quiet street and I was able to sleep peacefully. Having fast internet to work from home is also a plus. Host was great and helped me with parking. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Michael. He was absolutely the best host I have ever had! Michael was super helpful, detail oriented and provided a thorough recommendation list in the area. The place was everything I expected and more. It was the perfect location with all the amenities that I needed. The house felt fresh, new and very cozy. It is exactly what I was looking for and I will definitely rent from Michael again if I am visiting the area.

Staying at this lake house felt like home. House was perfectly clean and smelled so good! It was nice and cozy. Beautiful view. We loved and enjoyed staying here. Tony was friendly and provided clear instructions. We look forward to staying again in the summer time. 🙂

Our stay was way too short!! My husband and I enjoyed our weekend getaway and we will be back again!! The check in process and instructions went smoothly which was great since we arrived at night. As soon as you walked in, there was music and dim lights that welcomed you and we felt right at home. The indoor fire pit was such a romantic touch and easy to use. The space was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and we had no issues cooking. The hot tub and outdoor fire pit were amazing in the cold weather. Our favorite part was walking out onto the deck and seeing the beautiful lake. The host Rene was excellent in communicating!

THE home in the country I've always dreamed of! No need to leave this house to feel like you're on vacation- everything is here. This place would be great to stay in during any month of the year. Amazing views from every window coupled with all kinds of interesting collectibles, books, toys and furniture inside. Super comfy beds. Doting hosts that make you feel pampered while simultaneously being unobtrusive. Perfect getaway for our very small family!

We loved the view out to the lake, which was different every day and throughout the day. The open layout of the house is great to enjoy the views, and if the weather is nice, there are great sitting areas outside as well. The house is well-stocked and cozy. The hosts are friendly and always responsive. There are also great parks to visit nearby. We had a great winter weekend and would love to stay again.

Barbara's lovely home is well-appointed with a nice back deck and yard. It would be ideal for a couples get-away, especially in the warmer months. And you couldn't ask for a better host! She even brought in a recliner to help an elderly guest be comfortable. We had no complaints other than the furnace is a bit loud, but we wouldn't want to do without it in November.

My husband and I booked this after the passing of our fur baby. We needed a change of scenery. It was absolute perfection, it was the first time we relaxed in months. Thank you so much for an u forgettable getaway!
