Holiday rentals with lake access in Huron County

We really enjoyed spending time on the quiet beach on Eagle Bay. It was a real treat to step out onto the beach from the back deck. My kids enjoyed playing in the sand and the beautiful waters of Lake Huron. We enjoyed a beach campfire at night and visited the nearby dark sky preserve. The short drive into Port Austin was convenient for eating out, getting coffee, groceries, and renting kayaks to paddle Turnip Rock. We had a great time!

Great space for large groups! The restaurant kitchen made meals easy! The individual hotel rooms were nice so everyone had their private space. The beach was definitely not swimmable. It was very mucky. We did not have swimming weather anyhow! The air in the main part was a challenge. It was a large room, but didn’t seem like it was cooling the area.

Jeff and Maribeth were great. They answered questions almost immediately. The place was exactly as pictured and was very comfortable and very clean. Plenty of extras such as the coffee bar. They gave us recommendations for the area and were very friendly. I had fun chatting with them as well. I would highly recommend if staying in the area.

I really can’t say enough how enjoyable our stay was. The cabin was immaculate with such undeniable charm and personality. The beach was serene and relaxing. And, oh those sunsets were breathtaking for sure! We are already looking forward to coming back next year!!

She was very responsive and informative! The house was beautiful. Room for all of us and the kids stayed entertained. She made sure to decorate for Christmas so we had a tree. It felt really at home! Would stay here again. Would be an awesome place in the summer with plenty to do!

We loved our stay at Glenda' s place! the beach was perfect for our little ones, and the house had plenty of room for us. We would definitely rebook here again.

Great place

The house was better that the pictures. Clean, beautiful area, quiet. Nice outside area for bbq with family and friends. No bugs!!!!! Love the homey feel and all the convienences of home. Pam was the ideal host and always responsive. Will look forward to next year❤️

Place was so great, we extended our stay! Brandon was very responsive when we had questions. Felt safe in the area and the people were so kind! If we’re ever in the Port Austin area again, we will definitely look into staying here again.

we had a great time at brandon’s place! the location was perfect … easement to lake is right across the road, state park very near and public beaches just a short drive - less than a mile. and the convenience of the meat market next door can’t be beat. the cottage was squeaky clean and we appreciated that the cleaner checked in on us to see if we needed anything. definitely hope that we are able to come back next year - if not sooner!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spacious, clean, and perfect for our needs. It was easy to make it kid-friendly, and the location close to the water was fantastic. Communication with the host was seamless, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches. We’re already thinking of returning in the summer. Jeanette goes above and beyond to help guests book and thoroughly enjoy a stay at her cozy cottage. This was my second time staying with Jeanette because I knew staying at her cottage would be everything I could possibly need and enjoy. The cottage is modern and spotlessly clean. It has all the comforts and coziness of home. Jeanette herself is very flexible and quick to respond, with very clear communication. I appreciated her helping me book last minute for an unexpected stay. I couldn't have had asked for a smoother, more pleasant stay. I would highly recommend and will return whenever I get the chance.

My family and I had a great time staying at Marsha’s place! The listing described the house perfectly, it was very spacious for my family of 3. We enjoyed the walkable beach from the house, the water was shallow and perfect for our toddler. Friendly and quiet neighbors. Very close to downtown Caseville. I would recommend this place to others and would stay at Marsha’s again next time I am in the area.

This cottage is a flashback to simpler times. I booked for work but it would be a cool place to bring the kids and watch some VHS movies and go to the lake like old times.
