Family-friendly holiday rentals in Hvar

We loved our stay at Blue Bay residences. We were met by the host, given a tour of the facilities and provided an overview of what to do and where to eat. It has well appointed accommodations, ample space with breath-taking views of the Adriatic Sea. After many days on the road, laundry service was provided and much appreciated. Overall warm island hospitality. I highly recommend this place.

This space was really special for our stay on Hvar. The view of the sea is stunning from the two separate balconies and the hot tub. The apartment is tidy and modern, giving you walkable access to both the gown and nearby Pokonji Dol. Would love to stay here again!

Frano always responded very quickly to inquiries. On request for additional baby cribs and high chairs, it was immediately received and it had everything you could want on site. The hospitality of Frano and his family is excellent, we were provided with fruits and eggs from their property and Frano was always present and took care of the facility (pool etc.). We were picked up from the ferry and taken back to the port by private car on the day of departure. There is a lot of heart in the apartment but also in the care of their holiday guests. We felt comfortable from the first moment and can wholeheartedly recommend the accommodation, as well as holidays at Frano's.

Super nice villa. Luxurious, many extras, great amenities, very clean, great layout (each room with bathroom and balcony), everything in the kitchen, available for the grill and the pool. Even a super-equipped gym. Very well maintained. Recommended

Host made us feel welcome. Accommodation was comfortable for 2 pax. The view from our balcony was awesome...beautiful sunsets & sunrise. Loved the dog Zoro too...such a darling!

A must-stay! We enjoyed our time very much at this house. For one week we were living like royalties (it felt like). A wonderful pool, our own barbecue place and such a spacious villa. Beautiful trails right outside the house and the most amazing view. In addition Josko and his wife were excellent hosts, beyond what you can expect. Cannot brag about this place enough!

My whole family was obsessed with this place. The adults loved the beautiful scenery and the peacefulness and the kids loved the hot tub and the swings. The house is adorable and very nice and the views were even better than the pictures. We loved meandering around Humac and being close to so many interesting small villages to explore. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat on the island of Hvar, you will be hard pressed to find something better than Mario’s place.

Wonderful apartment! Small but well-equipped. The large balcony offers a spectacular view of Hvar Town. Perfectly located. Vedran was easy to communicate with and provided some great tips on how to enjoy the island. Thank you 😊

The apartment was spotless and communication before and during our stay excellent. The morning coffee and evening drink on the balcony overlooking the town and port was lovely. As we arrived earlier than check in it was nice being told to come and drop bags and sit by the pool. As it turned out the room was ready which was great. On our last day we were again offered the opportunity to check out late as our ferry was until the afternoon. Highly recommended

Walkable areas to Hvar old town. Small grocery shop 2 min away from the flat. Very convenient.

Quiet accommodation in a beautiful residence. 10-15 minutes from the city center.

I wanted to take time to think about how to review this little slice of heaven but nothing I say will do it justice. Kole and Irena’s cottage is a very special place and we feel lucky to have been able to stay there. If you are looking for somewhere to shut off from civilisation and power down, this is the place. Surrounded by nature, the only sounds you’ll hear are the wind in the trees, the water lapping at the rocks and the birds. The cottage is cosy and has everything you could need. We had a few days of cold weather but the wood burning stove kept it warm and the beds were very comfy. With the silence at night, this made for very restful nights sleep. What made our stay special, and unlike anywhere we have stayed before though, was Kole and Irena themselves. From the start when they met us with their boat, and a beautiful veggie box, it was clear that it was important to them that their guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay and we really appreciated their care and attention

I highly recommend this accomodation to anyone. We were super comfortable here and the balcony was Everything 🙌. The view and location is perfect. Car space right at your door. The bed was super comfy too. Kids were happy is a seperate room with the sofa bed. Very clean also. We will definitely return in future. The two Aircon’s are great. We Loved our stay 😊

This place is beautiful. The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning. We saw the stars and heard owls at night. Has everything you need to make breakfast and do some basic cooking if you can be bothered, but there's lots of places to eat in the likes of Bol, with quite a few still open in the shoulder season. It is next to another kind of boutique hotel/airbnb thing but you're still afforded relative privacy from the terrace. Marijan gave us solid instructions on how to get there, but we still drove past the turn off so better to get there in daylight if you can. You will need a car. All in all such an amazing stay, the island of Brač has so much to offer, and this is a particularly idyllic spot. Thank you!

Petar’s place is right in the top of one of the mountains in Hvar island, you can really see the sea and the surrounding islands. Petar and his mom were very nice. We recommend this place

We had a lovely stay at Mario’s villa, the views are stunning. As a group of ten we had plenty of space and highly enjoyed our stay. The villa is in a secluded area for privacy but when leaving the villa I would highly recommend leaving any valuables or cash in the safe. We used the private chef who was fantastic. Communication was easy and the hosts were very responsive. Would recommend, we had a great time.

We were a group of 9 people. The location is fantastic. Very quiet and you can go directly from the villa to the sea. The house was very clean and looked as pictured. The kitchen in the house and also the outdoor kitchen were well equipped and had everything you need. We thought the grill and the pizza oven were great. The house is a bit out of the way. There are no restaurants nearby. However, there are plenty of shopping opportunities and they are easily accessible by car. The house is perfect for relaxing vacations.

Filip was an amazing host, always helpful, friendly and made us feel right at home. We all loved the house and location, easy walk into Hvar and in the other direction to a wonderful beach. The house was comfortable and had all we needed. The pool was perfect. Highly recommended and thanks Filip!

I had a great stay at Tom’s villa! It’s in a beautiful setting with incredible views of the Adriatic and the mountains in the distance, with a sparkling pool and vineyards in between - stunning! Shops and restaurants nearby were open during the first few days of my stay but closed down in early October. Plenty of great restaurants in Jelsa though which was still walking distance from the villa (3km). Tom had wine, and other drinks in the fridge and snacks on the table prior to checking which was so appreciated and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking (spices, oils, etc). Don’t hesitate, if you’re looking for a great villa in a perfect setting, book Villa Tomic!

The villa was beyond our expectations from the location (a bit of a walk to town but worth it) with amazing views of the sea and a lovely area to sit out in. It was immaculately clean with 2 equal sized double bedroom. The kitchen was equipped with everything that you could need. Great fridge space and good coffee maker. The pool was lovely. Most of all Ivo and Linda were the best hosts. Their communication was great before we arrived and answered all our questions before our arrival. Ivo met us at the ferry and because it was late on a Saturday he kindly took us to the supermarket to buy some supplies. Note that the supermarkets are closed on Sundays. Linda sent us a list of the restaurants which would be open as it was end of season and a lot of places were closed. Their communication throughout our stay was great and they could not have been more helpful. We could not recommend this villa more highly.

Jelena’s place was fabulous. Jelena met us late at night on arrival and had made a delicious cake for us and left fruit too. We loved the 5 days there. No problem with insects allowing us spend time outside at night. When it was too hot, the indoor had airconditing in every room. The place was clean and had a great view of the sea. You feel like you are in a country home surrounded by olive trees and a vineyard, but still at the seaside with a beautiful view. It is a 5-7 minutes easy walk downtown - but note it is uphill on the way back. We had two 79 year olds with us and they handled the uphill walk ok. But that may be an issue for some. However, there was always a clean pool to enjoy after the walk. We got two e-scooters for the younger ones to move around town and go to Zlatni Rat beach. While the Zlatni Rat beach is a 20 min walk away there are tourist trains and taxi boats for 4 EUs On departure Jelena kindly gave us her homemade olive oil and a stone gift too. Loved our stay❤️
