Sunset house in Hydra(studio)

Our parents build this wonderful house in the traditional architecture of Hydra. The house is located in the picturesque fisherman's harbour of Kamini, more quiet and peaceful compared to the lively and cosmopolitan port of Hydra. It is 15 min walk from the central port of Hydra (along a scenic road next to the sea) or 3 min by water taxi. The route leading to the house has quite a few steps as all routes do in the town of Hydra but the spectacular view from the terrace make it worth the effort.

Window with view / A room with a view

The studio is part of a bigger traditional old Stone house, fully renovated and with great view to the harbour. One reaches the houses in 10-15 minutes walk (and stairs) from the port depending on each person's pace. Hydra is amphitheatricaly built and there are a lot of cobble stone stairs around town and leading up to the house so ...not for everyone! Hydra's view house is an accomondation in the centre of the island providing a panoramic view of Hydra and its port which you can enjoy from the house's rooftop as well as its bedrooms. The house has got a fully equipped kitchen for the preparation of your daily breakfast, lunch or dinner. The living room and the bedrooms provide their own TV, air-condition and WiFi. Beautiful two storey Architects' House

This beautiful two storey house belongs to a couple of prominent Greek architects who were captivated by the beauty of the island. They bought and renovated it in the 60s using traditional materials and techniques and working together with local builders and artisans. It has been used since then as a private family holiday house and is now available for short term rent when not occupied by family members who live in Greece, the UK and the Netherlands.

HydraSuites is located on the beautiful island of Hydra, where no vehicles are allowed, about 1,5 hours far from Athens, with traditional houses built on a mountain slope. Our house is a traditional 233 year old stone mansion with high ceilings. It is 600 meters from the port (about 8 minutes walk), with a few easy walking stairs (about 95) and is located on a main street where mules and donkeys are often passer-by.
