Family-friendly holiday rentals in Imperial Beach

We are so grateful to have been able to stay at Gwynn's place, it is so peaceful and lovely. Like a secret garden getaway. We loved all the small touches, and beauty of the space. Gwynn made us feel very welcome and comfortable! The pool is amazing and the outdoor spaces are delightful. Can't wait to stay here again.

Vanessa was very communicative & answered any questions right away. The location is PERFECT! A short walk to the beach. The house had so much for our kiddos to do & was fully equipped! Definitely kid friendly. The kitchen had everything you could need! The pool and hot tub were beautiful & clean! The downfall to the hot tub, is you have to turn it on an hour before you use it each time. I believe it’s new so they’re still working out some kinks with the buttons. Vanessa was helpful with this though. There are also apartment complexes that look down into the yard, so not much privacy. I would rate this a 5, but there are a few cons. We had 8 people in our group, 3 being children. Thankfully we were all family so we snuggled in, but I think it’s more like a 6 person house or you are on small cots. You’re kind of on top of each other. The floors are creaky so no sleeping in once someone is awake & the furniture could use some updating. It was torn. Overall the location makes it 5 stars

Stayed for a long weekend with family and an infant and it was a perfect home base! Aaron was extremely responsive and everything about the place was comfortable and easy. Would stay again!

This place is an absolute treasure! I spent almost a week here and it was such a wonderful experience. I had been looking for a warm and peaceful getaway to reconnect with myself, and I'm so glad I found this beautiful spot. Meaghan and Derek were incredibly welcoming and helpful, answering all my questions and suggesting great local hikes and activities. I felt a deep sense of calm and relaxation from the moment I arrived. I loved the hot tub and the yoga deck, which offered stunning views, especially at sunset. I was fascinated by the heart-shaped rock. Everything was clean and well taken care of, and the kitchen had all the tools I needed to cook my meals. My time there was nothing short of magical, and I can't wait to return to this lovely retreat someday. Thank you again!

Micki was a terrific host! She provided lightning fast communication, clear instructions, and helpful recommendations. The flat was cozy, the beds (including the sleeper sofa) were VERY comfortable. And the deck, pool, and hot tub were simply amazing. I HIGHLY recommend her Airbnb, and should we ever return to San Diego, we will stay with her again without hesitation. Our stay—from start to finish—was perfect! Thank you, Micki, for a fantastic stay!

It was a very lovely the chest board was awesome and it was very private and Mr Jeff was and is a very QUICK responder and respectful and with a lot of care and concern.

Comfortable home with all the amenities. Close walking distance to beaches and restaurants. Quiet, friendly neighborhood.

Lovely house on a great street close to Del Mar center. Susie was terrific and lightning-quick to respond to my questions. Loved the hot tub and outdoor dining area. Walked to the end of the street to watch the sunset several times. This is a very popular street for the local surfers, so do not expect quiet all day long. But at sunset, the surfers head home, and it is very peaceful. The upstairs bedroom is separate from the main house and has its own bathroom, so it was ideal for our son when he came in for a few days to visit.

This place was amazing! I stayed here with my family, which included two dogs, and it was perfect! The house and yard were great for my family and pets, and the neighborhood is quiet and private. It was also close to many great restaurants and things to do. Isabelle was a great host! She left us a personalized message, cookies, snacks, and drinks for our check in and was extremely nice and responsive when we had questions. She also had some great recommendations for food and places to see nearby. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone, especially if you are looking for a family and pet friendly location close to many great spots in San Diego. I hope I get to come back to the area and stay here again in the future.

Nice, quiet stay that is super convenient walking distance to the San Diego Zoo. Host was very friendly and informative during our stay and made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend a stay if you’re planning on visiting the surrounding attractions.

Great location to be near my daughter who lives near there. Fully stocked kitchen! Very clean. Good parking. Very communicative owner. Very clean. Comfy beds. Good cable tv. Overall, we are very satisfied. The price is very steep esp with all the added taxes and fees from the company. But that’s not because of the owner. I will rent again next year, too.

Great location and space for a weekend in San Diego! Aaron was super quick to respond and the check-in was very easy.

We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed sitting around the fire in the evenings. There was plenty of space for our group. The water was hot and lasted through 7 showers each morning. Very close to everything and easy to get around.

This was a great find for us. We were in town to see our new Grandson and this was perfect. After spending all day with our daughter, son-in-law and grandson we often had dinner in Kensington that was conveniently located. The bathroom, bedroom and kitchen were all wonderful. It was great having fresh fruit, coffee and cookies when we arrived. Olga’s son Alex let us in and did a great job helping us understand everything. We def will be back

I stayed at Jason and Nicole's place for about a week and it was magnificent! We fell in love with the place. It's very cozy but also very spacious. We especially adored the kitchen, the island was very nice as it inspired us to cook meals together and it was a wonderful time. The hosts are very responsive and friendly though I didn't really need to reach out during my stay since they prepared the place perfectly and everything was very well equipped. There is a construction site nearby as they stated but the noise isn't very noticeable especially with the windows closed. Didn't really bother us at all. Great location, Solana is one of my favorite cities in San Diego, Would absolutely stay here again!

My family, including 2 young kids, stayed at this condo for a week and absolutely loved the location and condo complex amenities (tennis, pools, hot tub, clubhouse with spectacular views, and beach access). the area feels quite safe and there is so much to do within walking distance. The condo is fairly basic, and the pillows could use a refresh, but overall the place met all our needs. The condo is very quiet and peaceful. No neighbor noise or road noise. Parking is easy. The hosts communicate promptly. We plan to return!

This place was everything I hoped for. First is the obvious value versus a hotel. A fraction of the price and already meets the basics of a comfortable bed and lots of hot water. Add in plenty of space, a separate bedroom and a full kitchen and it is already a winner. Then add the bonus of a friendly host who sends and responds to messages quickly. The location is great also because it is a nice neighborhood tucked into easy access to multiple freeways for whatever reason you are in San Diego.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! It was perfect for our family of 4 and was baby proofed which was a huge help to keep our toddlers out of the cabinets. The property is so peaceful and beautiful and the location is close to a lot of great amenities (Trader Joe’s, coffee, restaurants, highways) and yet so quiet and off the main thoroughfares. Roger was extremely friendly and responsive and we would highly recommend staying here for anybody looking for a perfect northern SD spot.

This house was a great spot for our family and friends! The living space was very spacious and the kids loved the pool! Convenient location to get around and enjoy all San Diego has to offer. Jesse was quick to respond and clarify any questions we had!
