Carisa’s house is only a short walk from Byrd Park and Maymont, two of the best places in Richmond. It’s also centrally located to great restaurants. The house is cozy but comfortable and it has everything you need. We felt safe in the house and neighborhood. We really appreciated how well stocked everything was and the great set up in the kitchen. Great spot for a short getaway.

The house was warm, comfortable and inviting. It was also very well furnished with a well stocked kitchen. Location was convenient to restaurants and entertainment while still feeling secluded.

My family and I had a great time staying at the Trailside Treehouse! Everything was clean and easy to find. We appreciated the pull-out bed option in the basement as well. My 3-year-old hung with us the first night but the second night he and my husband slept in the basement while my daughter and I slept in the treehouse. The weather was cold, so the heated blankets/mattress pads were great - very cozy and kept us warm through the night. Loved all the games, books, and toys throughout both the treehouse and the basement and the cute snack basket as well. We enjoyed our weekend trip!

Honestly one of the nicest Airbnbs I have ever stayed at. It is a duplex but the only time I ever heard the neighbors was when they were installing carpet. Otherwise it was peaceful and I felt 100% safe at all times. I would HIGHLY recommend.

This was our family's second time here. It's hard to find a place that can accommodate a large group, including a couple seniors with special needs and two young kids. We were lucky to have snow, so had a great time playing in the very large backyard. The kitchen is well stocked, so did all our own cooking and we barely had to leave the house. We hope to be back again soon!

We were amazed that we found Nathan's rental so close to where our daughter lived. Renting it was a great decision. While we spent most of our time at our daughter's and went back to his beautiful rental for the night, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of being in the woods. His rental (which is a walk-in on one floor) is beautifully decorated, with many amenities (including great lighting options throughout and extra bath towels which is not always the case). Not only has he selected extremely comfortable furniture, but has installed a gas fireplace that was a treat on a cold night. His fully equipped kitchen with a large refrigerator was great for those planning to eat there. There are many shopping areas within several miles, including Wegmans, our favorite Rochester NY grocery store (worth going there to shop). Nathan's communication with us was among the best of any host we have experienced. We highly recommend staying here for two people.
