had a great stay here, the place was very clean, had a great cozy feel, especially since our stay was during the winter. the fire place was amazing to have. enjoyed the clean hot tub. the host was great, very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back here for another stay and would definitely recommend it!

Therese and Jim were awesome hosts and their property was amazing. Everything was as expected and our time there was awesome. Highly recommend this for any large group.

Thank you so much Jamie for such a comfortable stay. It was the perfect option for us to spend time with our family down the road while still having space for ourselves. The house was really comfortable and well stocked with kitchen and pantry items to make our stay easy. The hot tub was fantastic, even in -13C weather. Also the use of the washer and dryer was convenient during our week long stay. Jamie was very responsive to any queries that we had and we’d thoroughly recommend staying here. Watching the snow fall through the trees was magical.

A very walkable area to main strip and the beach is steps away. Also a quick drive to MacGregor Point Provincial park for hiking, snowshoeing and the ice skating trail. Comfortable space with everything you need. Enjoyed the hot tub and sauna after day out in the snow!

Had an awesome stay. Beautiful location and cozy cabin. Loved that we could bring our dog along with us for our stay. Definitely will be back.

Excellent two night stay with a friend for a girl’s weekend in February and we will be back. Excellent maintenance throughout the property - there is wear and tear but that is to be expected on any property near a lake in Canada. Nothing was broken, the decor really showed the care owners place on cleanliness and maintenance. Pictures don’t do the unit justice - it is clean, fresh and cheerful. The beds are super comfy and the water pressure in the shower is phenomenal. We walked the thirty seconds to the beautiful beach, spent too long in the hot tub, enjoyed the sauna and grabbed a decent meal in Port Elgin. For the incredibly reasonable price, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This place is a gem!

What a wonderful weekend getaway! Could not have asked for a more perfect place for my fiancée and I to spend some peaceful time in nature. Elizabeth and her husband Scott were wonderful friendly hosts, they made us feel right and home and had great stories to share about the area and their beautiful property. The bunk house was the perfect spot along the river nestled in the cedar forest. Enjoyed the trails, the canoe and the fire pit views. Great trip into Goderich where we checked out some antique shops and local stores. Thank you again for a wonderful stay, we hope to see you again!

We really enjoyed a weekend getaway, hard to beat sitting by the campfire watching the stars. The place was exactly as described and is a little rustic getaway. We loved the location and how private it was with cute little cabin.

This was a return stay for us, and again exceeded our expectations. Diane was very accommodating with our dates and check in times. The cottage was clean and cozy, and had everything for us to enjoy our stay! We enjoyed a perfect few days in winter wonderland!

What a treat this place is! If you are looking to unplug and unwind, Shelly's cabin is absolutely perfect! She has made the most out of this little place and we absolutely loved it. Everything was so comfy cozy and Shelly herself was so warm and welcoming. Truly a hidden gem!

We stayed at the cottage in winter. The house was warm, with thermostats in every room. All appliances were working, and a washer and dryer were a nice bonus. The place was perfect for four people. In the summer, one could also enjoy the garden and the proximity to the beach. Ian was very quick to respond and help.

Thank you for a lovely stay at your rustic cabin. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and seeing all the stars at night. Thank you for dropping off some really delicious tomatoes in the morning.

Fantastic place & very nice owners!

Lovely home on a great stretch of Lake Huron. Sandy beach mixed with grass that’s shared with other cottages but not many people around. Those you meet are super friendly. Comfy beds and well laid out spaces. Nice collection of movies. My son particularly was obsessed with the Alexa device in the kids room. The kitchen has everything you need but is bare of extra food stuff like baking supplies or spices you often find in cottages. I think it’s because the owner has food allergies. The lack of laundry is something to be aware of. And that you have to bring linens including all our towels and kitchen towels.

This is our 5th year at Jason’s cottage. We have 2 kids under 10 and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back every year. It’s truly made family memories for us. This is our happy place. Just 2 blocks from the beautiful beach, and he has beach chairs or wagon to borrow if needed. We look forward to our night swims and cozy outdoor fires. There are fans in the cottage for the warmer nights which is convenient. Jason has always been quick to respond and helpful. We can’t wait to come back again next year!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful and an all around pleasant place to stay for a few nights. The surrounding areas are amazing and there is no shortage of activities and places to explore! Thank you Grey Bruce Cottages for the wonderful visit and I hope to come back again soon!

Our family stay at Sam’s was great. The proximity to the beach was amazing for us with young ones! Cozy cottage and lovely stay!

Shelby’s cottage was perfect for our getaway for a few days! It shows exactly as it is, stunningly beautiful! The cottage is on Lake Charles and is incredibly peaceful, which also includes a paddle boat; a win for the kids! The cottage has everything you need, with comfortable beds, clean linens and towels, and a well equipped kitchen (and bbq area). Laundry access was a bonus! The Rec Room was a fun place to hang out to play our board games, and play fuse ball, darts, or shuffleboard as provided. The host is very responsive and ready to answer any questions! We would book here again!
