Farmstay holiday rentals in Ionian Sea

My wife and I had a wonderful time here. We were looking for a long overdue, relaxing holiday with no stress. ‘Serenity’ is promised in the description and that is exactly what you get. The house is really well appointed and everything you might need has been thought of and provided. Kefalonia is a lovely place and the house is well placed to explore the island but also a great retreat when the day is done. It is quite isolated but in our case that is what we wanted. A car is essential unless you just want to stock up on day one and hide away for a few weeks. The house and garden is certainly comfortable enough to do that if you so choose! Aggeliki and Spyros are great hosts who genuinely want you to have a nice time. They gave us some really thoughtful gifts and Spyros looks after the pool with great care. There are lots of good things to say about this villa and Kefalonia but I have run out of space. The best thing for me to say is, believe the description and just book it and enjoy!

Perfection! Francesco and Alice have created a holiday idyll where you can only feel comfortable. The garden with a dream view alone is unique – especially at mild twilight with an atmospheric string of lights on the trees. The two are super sweet, pleasantly communicative and very supportive if you want. Conversations in English are not an issue. A freshly baked cake, grapes, peaches and snacks were waiting in the apartment. Everything clean, authentic Italian village and very cozy. We were very lucky to have cats and dogs as neighbors as cats and dogs. We really didn't want to leave, a real oasis to relax and ground. The surroundings are especially worthwhile for hikers: breathtaking nature and challenging routes on mountain peaks.

We stayed almost a week in this nice and beautiful apartment in Svoronta. Even though the airport ist a 15 minute walk away, we never felt bothered by any kind of airport noise. The location of the House is close to the capital (Argostoli) and a good base to explore the island. The apartment itself ist clean and tidy. The hostess was extrordinary friendly and always happy to help. Her hospitality was remarkable. She told us about the sights worth seeing and where not to go. With her help we had a week full of special experiences. The Garden and perimiter of the aartment are well kept and extensive. The House comes with a friendly and happy dog and sweet and curious cats.

we had a wonderful at the apartment. it is well equipped and very confortable. the host and her parents were very nice and attentive to our needs. we would come back without hesitation. we were there mid october and the pomagrenades and the lemons in garden were delicious;-)

We had a wonderful time. Lots of space in the villa for two families and the teenagers loved having their own bathrooms! Very helpful in every way, we had a lovely dinner in the recommended restaurant in the village. We would definitely return!

The time in Vito's house was incredibly beautiful and slowing down for us. The quiet location and the beautiful, large garden with play equipment was great for our young children. Everything in the house is sparkling clean and there is enough space even once for worse days in late autumn.

Angeliki's home is a wonderful find, absolutely perfect for a quiet getaway. I would recommend having a car, although that's just the nature of Corfu rather than the house. We walked down to the beach most days, which took maybe 20 minutes, and the walk back is uphill and takes a bit longer, however it's not too bad at all. With a car it is only 5 minutes. For travelling around the island it's a great central location. The house itself is amazing, lots of space, great water pressure in the bathrooms, and a fantastic kitchen. When you add in the fresh fruit from the gardens and brilliant recommendations for where to eat from Angeliki you're all set for a great holiday in Corfu. If I were to go back to Corfu I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place, excellent location, super cozy feeling inside the house. Everything was just like the pictures and even better. Very close to hiking trails. Bakery, super market, pharmacy are within walking distance. Convenient parking inside the property. Mandy was readily available and super helpful. An unforgettable stay!

Very spacious house with all the amenities needed to make your stay feel like home. Everything worked well and any issues we had were resolved by the host in a timely manner. The road up is a bit rough but, as the owner mentions, you do get used to it and within a couple of days it was fine for us. Great location where you can really switch off but not overly remote.

best welcome you can have. you wake up with the coffee prepared by Grei's mother and talk about life in Albania. You enjoy the drink on a beautiful terrace. The mountains surrounding the house are really beautiful.

We had a great stay! The pool is fantastic, very clean and gives a good cooling even in high summer! The bungalow is very nice and practical! Very comfortable beds! We will be happy to come back:-)

We had a great time at Antonino's home with our child. The part dedicated to us is large, independent, modern and clean. The pool is easily accessible and the view is magnificent. The equipment of the house is complete, with the barbecue on the back deck. Antonino was very attentive, showing us around the property, going around the animals (chickens and cats), and bringing us fruits from the garden for example. We recommend!

We had an amazing stay! Would highly recommend, it was better than we could have imagined and also could see the love that went into the build of this beautiful house. Very tastefully decorated and the space was a perfect hang for us with our baby in the month of Oct! James and Matteo were both excellent hosts! Would love to go back!

Very beautiful villa with infinity pool offering beautiful sea views. The accommodation is well equipped and impeccable. Very good welcome from Tasia, remains available if needed, the children even had a gift on the day of departure. Excellent stay!!

Great, luxurious house with lots of space and large pool. Very quiet location and very nice view. Edward was always reachable and very helpful. The kids loved the four dogs who also live on the property. Would come back any time.

A family of 6 adults we all enjoyed every minute of this traditional home. So close to the beach and Agios Nikolaos. The welcome from Villy’s father made us feel as if part of his family. A magical stay in Corfu. The villa is so tranquil and comfortable with no near neighbours and complete with a pool in a dream setting. There is everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay including a very cosy lounge for the evenings. It feels very remote and far from the crowds (which is why we chose it) but there is an excellent supermarket just ten minutes away, and you can be on the west or east coast within 20 minutes. We could not fault anything, and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. Don’t hesitate.

We had a lovely stay, the villa was beautiful and exactly as described. Anta and her colleagues were friendly and very helpful. We would recommend the private chef service as the food was delicious. Would definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful week. We enjoyed pool time with the kids as well as two of the local beaches. A combination of local taverna meals, two nights eating in and two nights at restaurants gave us a varied week for meals. The location was peaceful and relaxing. We were so pleased with our choice. Amazing place with the best view in Meteora! Chris is an excellent host, made us feel right at home and was very helpful with anything we needed. Check in was smooth and easy even though we only booked a few hours before arriving. Home was cosy, warm, full of amenities—well stocked kitchen, extra blankets, everything super clean. Extremely quiet and gorgeous sunrise/sunset views. Highly recommend!
