Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Isla de Providencia

The short version: A delightful little spot in a magical location with lovely and caring hosts. Serene, simple, perfect. The long version: When I arrived, Cesar took me down along the little river, through the mangroves to the little beach, where you can see the surf crashing on the southern edge of the barrier reef. On the way back, he showed me the little nursery where he was growing plants to replace the ones that had been lost during hurricane Iota. There was so much care evident in the way he tended to the little banana trees and mangroves. This is a special place. Cesar and Rita and Damian welcomed me with love, and I felt like a part of the family. They served perfect breakfasts under the bamboo grove, and gave many helpful recommendations for how to get the most from my time on the island. The cabana is simple and clean and private. Manzanilla beach and South West Bay are both walkable and have great bars & restaurants. Say hi to Houdini for me when you visit!

This house is absolutely delightful. Two of us stayed there for a week and the whole experience was magical. The view is great the decor is excellent the bed was very comfortable and there is plenty of hot water (rare on the island) and the garden is delightful. Watching the sun go down on the terrace each night was a great experience and the lovely lighting made the evenings special. Leopoldo was very helpful in all things and the housekeeper is an absolute sweetheart cooking the best food we ate on the island for all meals if you want her to. Providencia is a wonderful unspoilt island and we will definitely be coming back for a longer stay. Thank you so much for this great experience.

Doris and Caesar are the hardest working hosts. No request too small or large. On arrival they do a briefing that includes all the best places to eat, dive, shop etc. They constantly work to maintain the property. Every detail has been considered and executed. Each of the three cabins have different configurations (one has a sleeping level upstairs). The place has a great sand secure safe but it's unnecessary. The guests' welfare is first on their agenda. Caesar organized a replacement mule for me when ours wasn't working properly. He also helped change a tyre that got punctured. Caesar took my brother to the bar on his motorcycle. He drove me to the beach. They even have a 15 kg washing machine laundry service. The beds are made every day! Towels changed so often I couldn't use them all. Doris is a retired artist and her works adorn the cottage walls. World class customer service - as AirBnB Superhosts - we understand great service. A 7 Star stay. They have many repeat guests.

We had a great time in providence and in a few days we managed to do a lot thanks to the recommendations and support in every way of Claudia and Curramba. They are excellent hosts and very nice people. The place was very good

Fantastic view! Plenty of space both inside and outside, and lots of great windows. Very safe. Cuil is a wonderful host, super friendly and helpful. He organized a rental moto for us and chatted with us about the island. A few ants and geckos and mosquitos inside, but that is to be expected on any island. Could use a couple new kitchen implements, but all in all, a really great place!

Gorgeous views, lovely breeze, lovely people. Would definitely stay here again. Its an open air layout, if you are mosquito averse, may not he the place for you (nor anywhere on providencia). The a/c in the main bedroom works really well. Kitchen window opens completely up to the outside so you can cook with amazing breeze and view of Southwest bay. 5 minute easy walk to the store. Neighborhood dogs are friendly. Great place if diving in Southwest Bay

Juan is a lucky one to have a wonderful home in paradise and we for being able to live an experience there with friends. Everything was perfect on an authentic island like none. Thank you for everything.

Beautiful house with beautiful view! Close to restaurants and supermarkets. Could use more pans and pots and a table inside the house, but we had an amazing stay!
