Holiday rentals in Jeff Davis County

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ms. Natalie’s remarkable property, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning scenery and the charming house. The barn adds a unique touch to the property, making it a peaceful retreat perfect for unwinding and relaxing. The cleanliness of the space was commendable, and we appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which encouraged us to prepare our own meals. I recommend stocking up on groceries, as cooking at the house was a delightful experience. Each morning, my girlfriend and I enjoyed leisurely walks outside, taking advantage of the beautiful surroundings for some refreshing cardio. There were numerous trails to explore, enhancing our stay with nature's tranquility. Overall, our stay was phenomenal, and we found everything we needed within the house. I would love to return in the future and encourage others to experience this wonderful getaway. Thank you, Ms. Natalie!

I had originally planned to stay only for a month, but due to work requirements it stretched to over two months and I am glad it did because my stay in Jill's house was great all throughout. The riverside location is such an added bonus for that overall relaxing feeling.

Very cute home right on the lake!! It was wonderful to wake up and enjoy the lake views! The house is great for a couple or groups! Perfect place to come home and relax. We loved listening to the sounds at night and the AC was perfect when we needed to get out of the heat. The house looks just like the photos and it’s super comfy! Great spot and I’d go out of my way to stay again!

Peter was a wonderful host! The river was nice and secluded, and I enjoyed the river view and fishing off the dock. I stayed there to go to the Peaches to the Beaches sale, and it was close enough to Hazlehurst, yet provided the country setting I love.

The house was very nice! Shannon was a great host and gave us all the info we needed. The instructions for getting in were clear, and everything we needed. The house was everything we needed. Plenty of room for our party of 6, and was very clean and cozy. We are from the country and it reminds us of home. We passed through on our way back to the mountains from Florida, and would do so again! I should say (and this was not in Shannon’s list of recommended places) avoid the BBQ place nearby. It was NOT good. We should have gone with the recommendations!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Stagger and his crew that keeps this place running. Stagger was such a wonderful host to get to know and just talk to. He always responded if I had a question or needed anything. The campground is extremely peaceful and relaxing which is what we needed after long days working. The bathhouses were spotless, laundry was easily accessible with great washers and dryers, the grounds were always kept spotless. The cute chickens were an added bonus!! All the other guest were great getting to know as well. If you are looking for a quiet get away or a home away from home while working, don't miss the gem of a place. I hated leaving but we are hoping to be back very very soon!
