Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Jičín District

Petr has a great house! There were 8 of us: 4 adults and 4 kids from 5 to 12 years old. We rented it for 9 nights and we were comfortable. On the first floor there is a spacious kitchen-living room with all the necessary utensils and appliances where we could spend time together, and on the second floor there are 2 bedrooms, each for 4 people. The house is much better than it looks in the photos, it has a lovely view over the valley. It is located in a quiet village, we did not meet a single neighbor the whole time. A few kilometers away are the Prachov Cliffs. Communication with the host was pleasant, we received helpful recommendations when checking in. We would be happy to come again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. The apartment was in excellent condition with all the equipment we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen. The area is quiet, peaceful, and pleasant to be in. The children really enjoyed the yard, the games, and the opportunity to make a bonfire. There is also a lake very close by that we enjoyed swimming in. The hosts took care of everything and even arranged in advance a bed and chair for the baby that we needed.

Thank you to the owner, who was incredibly kind and helpful. Communication with her was quick and seamless – she was always willing to give us advice and there was nothing missing in the cottage everything we needed. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay – whether by relaxing by the fireplace, walking around the neighborhood, or sitting on the terrace in the evening with great views and friends. If you're looking for a place to relax in the heart of nature, this is a great choice. We'd love to come back!

This is a fantastic house in a beautiful location. Everything is clean and clutter-free. A herd of sheep lives in the fenced meadow under the house. You can spend hours watching them from the open living room, immersed in the tranquility of the surroundings 🐑. When booking the place, I was worried there would be no AC, as summers are known to be hot in Czechia. Fortunately, the house is on a hill, and there's always a light breeze. Opening the windows is enough for a comfortable stay and sleep, even on a hot day. The internet connection is OK for browsing and one Zoom call. When we had two parallel Zoom calls, it started to lag, and one of us had to leave. Romana responds very fast and helps with every detail of your stay. She offered to let us use the veggies from her garden, so we had yummy, fresh salads every day 🥗.

It was ok. Regular small Czech village.

Lucie's cottage is practically furnished . Everything you need for cooking is available. The terrace and communal pool is very nice . Parking space on the premises is also available. Can recommend it. Greetings David

We spent a wonderful week in a beautiful area in a beautiful apartment :) The kitchen was super equipped. The view from the balcony was great. The entrance is on the ground floor. It was very nice and modernly furnished. We came as a family of 4 with 2 small children. The couch in the living room has already been prepared as a bed. Outside there was a trampoline and playhouse for the Small ones. The hostess was always friendly and responded very quickly. We recommend the accommodation on any case.

I would highly recommend this place! :-) It's very cozy! I was very torn back and forth every evening, whether I go to the restaurant or prefer something self-cooked in front of the oven fire. The place is just out of town, less than 10 minutes walk. If you prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place to be. It was very clean and tidy. The host ensures the utmost comfort. I would book again.

My friends and I were very happy with the rest. Beautiful place, very well equipped with kitchen wares (more dishes and silverware than people, so we could collect before we let the dishwasher go). Different types of grater, scissors, baby dishes, strainer and much more. We easily cooked all our meals there (there is also a stove, oven, and microwave). We also had access to cleaning supplies, a supply of chemicals for the dishwasher, and utensils like garbage bags, sponges, cloths, a broom, and even a vacuum cleaner, which made it extremely easy to keep things tidy during your stay. The apartment is as described and photographed. Mute, so the presence of other guests in the building didn't bother us. Great contact with the owner. You should book a wellness area in advance, because we were only able to use it 3 times, because we didn't book it early enough (we were in the New Year break, so in high season) Highly recommended☺️

Jan's place is very cozy and clean. The place is a 10 minute walk from the closest train station that will take you to the Prague main station in 20 minutes. The apartment had all the necessities to make the stay comfortable including an induction cooking surface, washing machine, shower and a TV. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Wonderful getaway in a quiet location. The way we imagined it. Patrik was very nice and explained everything to us when we arrived. The cabin is lovingly furnished and everything is great accommodated in the smallest space. Even a welcome basket of treats was provided. An all-round successful weekend.

Very nice location. Quiet places off the beaten path, at the same time to Pec and the center of Velka Upa you can walk. Ski bus stop available under the property by footbridge. Due to the large amount of equipment (we went cross country skiing and downhill skiing), we were missing a bit of space to store it and change our shoes.

The host was kind, responded quickly to messages, the place was clean. Parking right next to the apartment. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood, able to toast.

A lovely cottage suitable for parties with dogs and children—we had both—in a gorgeous countryside. We really enjoyed our stay! Martina is very friendly and fast with the responses.

This place is a real gem. We had the most relaxed time there. Perfect place to calm down and enjoy the beauty of nature. 🙏
