Gorgeous little cottage. Tastefully decorated giving a cosy feel that made you feel right at home. Has clearly been recently decorated. Stunning views from front door. Beautiful location. Very peaceful. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for somewhere to pause, breathe & smile then the Noddle is for you. A real opportunity to switch off & enjoy Island life. An eco friendly home with all mod cons if you need them but this is a real opportunity to step away. There’s one shop on the Island of Hoy which opens in the morning & afternoon about 30 minutes across the Island so do bring most of what you need as there are two fridges & a freezer. There is also a regular ferry service for Island hopping so you can enjoy the best of both worlds.

Spacious bungalow in a lovely peaceful location. Beds were comfortable and we had all the amenities we needed. We visited a few places and it was good to come back to a cosy, warm home. Nice wee cove a couple of minutes walk from the house which the dog loved. Wilma was lovely and left a very thoughtful gift for us and for the dog! We would love to go back at some point as it would be a fabulous place to see the Northern Lights. Thank you Wilma, for allowing us to stay in your home. We hope to see you in the future!

We had a nice stay with a group of 7 people at Jane's place and we didn't miss anything. The space was perfect for group size and Jane was always easily accessible. 👍

Exactly what we expected. Cozy, quaint, well furnished, unbeatable views and the cutest fluffy neighbours (sheep). We were sorry we couldn't stay longer! So peaceful and quiet. Loved the varied selection of DVDs and books - some oldies I hadn't seen in years! Wish we had needed the fireplace as we can only imagine how fun that would be. Hot blankets on the beds, feather duvets and quirky things like low doorways, steps up and down into rooms, massive fireplace surround ... we loved it all.

I stayed here for a month while doing my practical for University, and I couldn’t have had the opportunity to stay in a more lovely, homier place. The house was incredibly clean and very homey in a lovely area that I could walk my dog around, with a beautiful big back garden. The host was wonderful and extremely responsive both before, during and after my stay whenever I had any questions. Will 100% be looking to book again for my next practical session!

Carol's place was comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay easy and nice. The location was great and our kids loved having the pool and playground right out front. We would definitely stay again if we go back to the area.

Lovely place to stay, fab beach onsite. Lots for kids to do onsite. Beautiful beaches all around the area. So much to see and do in this area. Would def use again.

Very friendly, accommodating and responsive hostess. The apartment was super equipped, very clean and we felt very comfortable right away. The caravan is really super central in the Holiday Park. A few minutes walk and you are on the beach, at the bar, in the gym, by the pool, in the laundry room, at the lighthouse or at the playground. We really enjoyed this quiet area on the terrace every day or had fun evenings at the bar with karaoke. Highly recommend this great place! Thank you for the great time.😊

Just back from having such a superb and memorable weekend at Amy's lodge within the famous Silver Sands Holiday Park. The lodge was perfect for our group of four adults, very clean, very tidy and above all else, peaceful. With a beautiful beach literally 2mins walk from the lodge and lots of amenities & entertainment at hand within the holiday park there's plenty to do within a couple of minutes walk of the lodge. Further a field the town of Lossiemouth is only 1.5miles away but it makes for a great stroll along the beach and I can highly recommend rewarding yourself with some of the the local ice cream at Miele's while sat at the harbour watching the surfers do their thing. All in all we all had a great weekend and would like to thank Amy for being a great and thoughtful host.

Sarah is a great host, she left a lovely hamper for us and our dog. The caravan is very clean and comfortable, made us feel like we were at home. Seeing the jets fly over the caravan everyday was a added bonus and it was only a short walk to the beach. we will definitely be back for another stay in the near future ☺️

Stayed for 3 nights with my partner, just before Christmas as we were visiting family in Lossiemouth. Lindsay was super helpful and communicative as soon as we booked. The caravan was perfect, bigger than expected, very clean and comfortable. It was a wet windy cold weekend but once the heating was on, the caravan was lovely and warm. Gorgeous location right on the beach. We will definitely look at staying again (hopefully in the warmer weather!) so we can enjoy the location a bit more. Overall a perfect stay.

Jenny is a lovely host, genuine and friendly and super-helpful. It was a real pleasure to meet her. The apartment is cosy and located right on the coast - the view in the morning is breathtaking and at night I’d never seen so many stars, absolutely stunning! We love the Moray Firth therefore knew the location and area before we booked. We were not disappointed, we absolutely loved the close proximity to the beach woods and restaurants of the cottage. Found the property suitable for our needs for the price paid. Bed was comfy,log burner made the winter evenings cosy. The kitchen area was sufficient to cook meals. Local supermarkets & petrol stations close at hand some 4 miles up the road in Elgin. Nice few chilled an relaxing days away for 2 outdoor lovers and there 2 furry friends.

Fantastic space, perfect for us and our little one to crawl around safely. Bigger than its looks in the pics. Close to beach front and amenities. Thanks for making us feel so at home on our stay!

Perfect cottage in a beautiful location. Deer literally outside on the lane, usually at 8am!...view from the twin bedroom window! beautiful to watch. Good enclosed large garden. Cottage is well loved and much care and attention to detail inside shows this. Hosts are very responsive and friendly to communicate with. They care about their guests. I would not hesitate to recommend this accomodation to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at woodpeckers nest. The beautiful walking trails right out the door were a big bonus.

Information regarding local amenities - where to eat and what to do - given by the owner was very detailed and she gave a very interesting history of the property. Stunning wee cottage in a beautiful location. Really thoughtfully renovated with every requirement covered, and some nice quirky details. Very cosy living space with wood burning stove, large comfy sofa and good sized TV. Big comfy bed with large walk in shower in ensuite. Spacious garden area and away from other properties to give great privacy. Plenty items in the welcome pack (including slippers and dog treats) just complete that special welcoming feeling, looking forward to returning soon . 😀

Loved the comfy and cosy cottage and quiet surroundings. Our personal highlight was the fireplace set up next to a little stream. The location is quite remote so be prepared to drive a bit further to get to interesting places. We would have loved to stay longer!
