Our stay was absolutely wonderful . The views were breathtaking, and the privacy provided the perfect escape we needed. The amenities were absolutely more than perfect, making our stay the best. Lady Jackie and John were incredibly great and professional, and was available at all times. The Christmas stay at this Airbnb was a holiday to forever remember. The decoration was was more than perfect and enhanced our holiday spirit. I will definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone wishing for a beautiful get away. We will definitely be returning for. This is the perfect getaway. Lady Jack and John is the best.

I was fortunate enough to be able to book Amy’s place for Christmas and it was perfect. Large enough to have the family together with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. There isn’t one thing I would change about our stay. The house was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated for the holidays. I was lucky to briefly meet Amy and had a great chat she is very friendly. We will certainly book this house again. Thanks Amy

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful place. My family enjoyed our stay, wished it wasn’t such a quick trip. The home was clean, the beds comfy, and my grandson loved the snacks. Highly recommend!

Very convenient location to downtown, grocery stores, an amazing park and great restaurants. Peaceful and private which makes it a bonus!

Our second trip to Heaven’s Gate only reminded us of the amazing home and grounds. Warm, cozy, spacious cabin with modern amenities and comfortable furniture. Very thoughtful and well decorated space. Our family is already excited to return in the Summer for our third trip.

Shane was an excellent host from beginning to end! The cabin is very private and peaceful with a great view of the lake and lots of amenities. I would definitely stay again.

The cabin is a glorious oasis! My best friend and I enjoyed a long weekend hiding in the cabin from the world. It was absolutely spotless and super cozy for a winter getaway.

This little cabin was so awesome! It was perfect for me and my husbands’ 10 year anniversary! The cabin was so well kept and the decor was so eclectic and nostalgic, it made it feel very homey and so cozy! I wish we could have stayed longer than 2 days! We didn’t use all the amenities but they definitely covered all their bases and stocked the place with anything you’d want or need in your own home. Being it’s February and it was cold outside, I was worried it would be chilly, but they also had that covered and again it was super cozy in the cabin. Beautiful woods and trail surrounding the property, yet close to the cute little downtown area of Pittsboro which was only about 10 minutes away. There are some nice restaurants and coffee shops there. Jordan Lake State Park was also only a few minutes drive from the place, a gorgeous place to take in more nature. Also there was a really cool Tiger Rescue nearby that we visited. The price was so reasonable and this place is beyond worth it!

Our stay was excellent! Only sad thing was the weather! 6 inches of snow in NC!! Thank you for the wonderful stay and adding an additional day to the reservation.

This log lodge is a little slice of heaven. It is located in a beautiful setting of 250 acres. Very relaxing and serene. Jack was very responsive to our communication. We were fortunate to meet the other owners/hosts who gave us an amazing tour of the property. We will definitely return again!

I was absolutely obsessed with the cabin from the moment we drove up to the moment we left. It is a beautiful property and a beautiful little rustic home. It is even cuter in person than in the airbnb photos! The property itself is just gorgeous-- big mature trees that were changing colors and dropping leaves while we were there. The location was incredibly convenient to a wedding venue just a few minutes away where I was participating in the wedding party. Camille was a lovely host. She was communicative, responsive, flexible on our check out time, and invited me and my husband to a "Pickin' Party" that was being hosted in the beautiful barn next door to the airbnb. My husband got to enjoy an afternoon of bluegrass music and delicious North Carolina BBQ-- and I got to sneak in for a few minutes before my wedding party duties. It was entirely quiet and peaceful at night, and felt extremely safe. Definitely in my top 3 airbnbs I have ever stayed in, and a great value for the price!

This was the perfect place for a personal meditation retreat get away. The natural light, the clean and cozy interior, comfortable bed and pillows, beautiful artwork all around all made for a delightful experience. I hope to come back again!

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The cabin and scenery was beautiful. Peaceful and felt right at home. Betty is so sweet and was the best host. Farmer Jerry and his sidekick Bonnie took us on an farm tour and we got to feed the animals. We got to fish the pond and caught bass even though it was cold! We hated to leave and hope to be back real soon.

Loved this gem! While we had an abbreviated stay, we loved this cabin. It was perfect for the two of us. Great shopping and restaurants were a short drive away While the weather wasn’t cooperative and trees were bare this time of year, it was comforting lying in bed watching the trees sway through the skylight. Would love to return in summer months!

Such an amazing secluded property. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. The host’s were incredibly professional and made checking in/checking out very pleasant. 10/10
