Waterfront holiday rentals in Kagoshima

Place was clean and cozy. View of Sakurajima definitely exceeded my expectation. Will try to stay here again if I return to Kagoshima and will definitely recommend to friends.

Great location viewing into Sakurajima! Loved the location, there is a nice bakery beside it and lots of good food all around it. Highly recommend and would definitely come back!

Location was right next to the harbour which was ideal for me as I wanted to wake up to Sakurajima every morning. Although it was a 35 min walk from the Kagoshima-Chuo station, the view from the 5th floor was breathtaking. It was also a 5-10 min walk from the Sakurajima boat ferry terminal. This is one of the few rare air bnb where the host meets you in person and gives you a tour of your room and passes you the keys personally. I really liked how they greeted me and it really adds a human touch to it. Cleanliness of the room was well kept. However, the wifi was really slow. When you enter the room, it says that there were 2 networks, a 2.4GHz and 5GHz wifi that you can use. However, when I tried to connect to the 5GHz one, they said the network did not exist. While the 2.4GHz was really, really slow and did not connect well at some parts of the room. Generally, a remarkable stay as the view of the volcano is right outside my balcony, but the wifi issue has to be rectified.

It was a great pleasure for me to stay at Michiko and Yurika’s place. It’s located right next to the harbor, and the view of Sakurajima out of the window is unparalleled. It’s also very close to Tenmonkan area where there’s plenty of shopping and dining options, plus 2 convenience stores are just steps away. The unit itself is nice and comfortable and has everything one might need for a longer stay. I feel like one month I spent here was such a short time. Michiko-san is a wonderful host, very welcoming and always ready to go out of her way to help, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. I wouldn’t choose any other place to stay in Kagoshima if I ever come here again.

It was a trip with my elderly parents, but I felt like a home away from home. It was spacious and the view was great. We had a great time. I definitely want to stay there again!

Thanks for getting in touch with us every year. My group and I are repeat guests, but I am very satisfied! There were 2 bedrooms (both 4 beds), 1 large Japanese-style room, 6 people this time, but there was room for 8 people to stay! There was one toilet, so there was traffic in the morning. The sea is right in front of you, and the surroundings are quiet, so it is easy to stay! No matter how many days I can enjoy it♪ I definitely want to come again!!

Very nice accommodation to feel the sea made of DIY! I also participated in the tour of Katerouma Island, but I was able to enjoy the sea by taking me to various spots, and it was the best day (^ ^) The caretaker is very friendly and approachable with hospitality. I'd like to go again in the summer and autumn♩

We were initially going to stay for 3 days and extended to 5 days . 4 of which were in Saori’s Airbnb 😀. Quiet location with restaurants - we went to Child twice (about a ten minute walk). The nearest was Musashiya but we didn’t book so couldn’t get in there on Saturday night. Nearby A-Coop supermarket is a 5 minute drive and open to 2000. We also ate twice at AMAnesia which is about a 30 minute drive. As per listing and Saori provided snorkel sets for 1500 yen. Short drive from airport and near lots of beaches , the best of which for me was Yo beach which had some great coral and saw sea turtles (but check the tide times )

It is located by the sea and has a good view from the room.There are also many bedrooms for a comfortable sleep.
