Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Kamo River

It was so nice that the accommodation was tidy and clean. It was a trip with my parents, and they were satisfied. I liked that the water pressure was strong and the dryer was strong. There was only a heater in Japan, so it was a little cold in other houses. It was better to turn on the heater in advance and use it warmly as soon as you enter. There was a ministop nearby, so it was convenient to use.

It is close to Kyoto Station and Aeon Mall.The place is clean and tidy, really has a Japanese family feel, you can smell the light wood scent when entering the house, the owner's daughter is kind, friendly and welcoming, we are going to check out the day we are going to visit another six-person room type house of the owner's daughter, this house is a Japanese style tatami, the other is modern, I really recommend this one night when people come to Kyoto for a trip.

This place is good for those who wish to have nature and quietness. Bamboo forest is behind and a short walk to Fushimi inari via it. It is a cozy, clean and good sized place. Naoko and her husband were very kind, they offered to bring us around as her husband happened to be free. She even ore-recorded a tape in English to explain our itinerary. This more than made up the not-so-central location. around yen1300 by uber from station to her house if you do not wish to walk. On the whole, we felt very blessed to have stayed at this place. Hope to be back one day.

Very friendly and helpful host. The accomodation was exactly as advertised and was a great location to relax and experience traditional Japanese ryokan. Our host kindly provided daily breakfasts as well as transport to the nearest train stations. Highly recommend for future guests.

We had a lovely stay here in Kyoto. Sakura’s home was in a great location close to Kyoto station, but still on a quiet street. Sakura was so helpful and very responsive.

For my first time travelling Cat made sure I was always comfortable during my stay with quick responses, and provided with a great placement for exploring osaka being next to the train stations

Ken was awesome. Amazing communication and awesome location within 5 minutes from major train lines and 10-15 minutes walk from a bulk of the touristy things and restaurants you'll have on your list. The shower was different but functional. No complaints. We really only used the apartment to sleep - didn't spend much time there. It was too cold to use the patio but it was a decent size and had a nice view of the river. Ken gave some great suggestions and was extremely responsive.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The place was clean, well-equipped, and very cozy. The location is perfect – quiet, yet close to everything important. A beautiful, cozy apartment in the heart of Gion district Kyoto. Location is excellent. We enjoyed seeing geishas and meikos regularly on evening walks just outside the apartment. It was close to hiking trails, many sightseeing destinations, trains, restaurants, etc. In the heart of everything. And yet super quiet, being on 4th floor with no neighbors (above or on sides) in an alley. Only downside is that the kitchen is very efficient, single burner, no counter space, etc. But you should be mostly eating out anyway. Also there is a red light at night in the main room from the fire alarm—we had to cover it with a jacket to sleep. Not sure what other reviewers thought was deceptive—it was as I expected, and honestly the view is phenomenal. Yes there is a parking lot but you can hardly see it and beyond that are the beautiful Kyoto hills and tops of temples peaking out. Tatami room was wonderfully cozy. Furniture and linens were quality. Stayed super warm inside. We miss it already!!

We had the best stay Kyoto. It was the perfect location - walkable to train stations and popular attractions. The home was a beautiful mix of modern and traditional with more than enough space for our group. Hosts were very kind, helpful, and responsive. We would definitely stay again.

This time, I went to Kansai with my friends, stayed at Xiaodai's house for three nights, it was really great, the elegant Japanese tatami villa, the interior is also beautiful, the living inside is very comfortable, the villa is located in the rich part of Kyoto, the environment is very good, although it is not in the center of the city, the amenities are very good, the subway and convenience stores are within a very short walk.And then, Sister Dai is really super nice!Very enthusiastic. He answered all kinds of questions on WeChat before checking in. He drove to Kyoto to pick us up at Yamashina Station on the day of arriving, and then gave us a detailed introduction of how to play in Kyoto. How to take a car, let us contact her on WeChat at any time when we encounter problems. The last night also took out a treasure of wine. It made me feel like a host, but a good friend who has been hosting me in Japan for many years.

It was a nice, almost four storey apartment. The place is 20 mins away from the station. But it was a nice walk from the station if the weather is good. The view from the place is great. You can see the lake and the mountain. We love the nature the most.

The owner's elegant and lovely personality everywhere, such as the building, garden, and facilities, and it was a very beautiful place to stay. Your explanation and response were also very polite and helpful. The BBQ and bonfire in the garden with the scent of golden rhinoceros were fun and exceptional.The breakfast you provided was also very delicious, and everyone had a great trip from beginning to end.
