Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kashwakamak Lake

We booked the house during the largest snow storm in a few years. I was so impressed that Laurie proactively messaged me to let me know the dates were flexible so in case I was worried about driving in the storm. She did the same when it was time to leave, again letting me know I could wait until the roads were cleared. That's the sign of a fantastic host. We spent the weekend relaxing in her beautifully decorated home and enjoying the snow storm 'lock in.

Iryna was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and allowed for a very seamless experience. When we arrived at night there was a full driveway of snow and Iryna got the driveway shovelled that night very quickly. The house was very clean and had plenty of room for our team. This allowed our sports team to spend time together bonding and perform at our best with its close location to Queens University. Overall Iryna was a lovely host and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I can't thank Tracey enough when it came to booking her beautiful home. I made this booking last minute for family travelling last minute from the UK. Tracey answered all of my questions promptly and was more than accommodating. The family absolutely loved the house and some are planning to try and book in the future.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sherry’s place! The space was comfortable, beautifully designed, spacious, and warm, making us feel right at home. Sherry went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, even providing fresh ingredients and farm-fresh eggs for breakfast. She was an amazing host—not only was she always available for any questions, but she also gave us excellent recommendations for the area. What truly made our stay special was the way she charmed our children—treating them to a delightful farm experience, including feeding the animals, collecting eggs, and surprising them with thoughtful treats. Sherry’s hospitality was heartwarming, and we only wish we could have stayed longer than one night! We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and welcoming getaway

We loved the quiet, peaceful surroundings, the spaciousness of the cottage, and the beautiful views from every window. We love music and spent a couple of evenings just sipping wine and listening to music through the sound system routed through the ceilings. The kitchen was beyond well equipped! Further, Donna delivered extra pellets for the stove before we had to ask, and Erik generously mitigated the problem with the hot tub. Truly special hosts who care about their guests and their comfort.

Heather’s place is very nice, comfortable and cozy. It’s the type of place you can make yourself at home, check in instructions were very clear and easy to understand. Host is a great communicator and quick to respond, would highly recommend. We really enjoyed our stay and will keep in mind next time we come to Kingston 😊

Julian was an extremely responsive host who always was there at a minutes notice. Aspects of the place were even nicer than the pictures like the backyard patio of the Stonehouse and the Stonehouse livingroom. Had plenty of things to do for entertainment and pretty close to town. Has a real cottage/summer home vibe. Had PLENTY of space for 16 of us. Water pressure was a bit low in the Cottage house at times without any other taps running to interfere. Julian left hand written notes for different things around the house and even said we were able to take some plants that were already potted. A+

The girls had a wonderful stay at the North Sky Retreat. Julie was very helpful and her house was just perfect for four people to stay, each with their own bedroom. The house was exceptionally well stocked with supplies, linen, towels and those extras you may need. Julie accommodated the dog that accompanied on this trip as well. The fresh eggs were a bonus and the free range chickens were fun to watch. The grounds were lovely and the walking path was a perfect was to take in the nature around the house. Hopefully this stay will become a tradition! Thank you!

Rachels place was amazing! Hard to believe, but it was even nicer in person than the pictures! The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and homey. We didn't end up using the pool (lack of time and weather), but everything was set up for us. We did use the hot tub, which was fantastic! Thank you, Rachel, for the hospitality and for allowing us to experience your little home away from home. 😊

This is a beautiful, peaceful property, with comfortable furniture and plush beds. Pete went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.

We booked Martin's cottage for rest/relaxation during the holiday season with our growing extended family. Tats place was great, well maintained. There could be additional seating in the lounge to accommodate more people. There was a small issue with water but Tat was quick to respond and resolve. Overall our stay was comfortable and would recommend

Thank you Scott for a great stay! Definitely a bit of a "lived in" airbnb, but it was very affordable for our group so ultimately no complaints. Tons of bedding and pillows to make our stay comfortable. so many board games and table games which was awesome for our group. Typically Airbnb's that have hot tubs, I've found to be very hit or miss. Not this one! It was very hot and worked perfectly even in the cold winter. really made for a relaxing stay as we used it everyday. Finally, Scott allowed us to bring our pet which was much appreciated, however do suggest you keep close watch. At one point our dog strayed on to the neighbor's yard and despite apologizing he threatened the dog and us if it were to happen again. Guy was unhinged so be mindful. otherwise great communication from Scott, and he even let us check out a bit later since no one else was staying that evening. Thanks Scott for the great stay! will be back again!

We had a great stay at this cottage over the long weekend. The location is safe and quiet, surrounded by beautiful nature. The cottage is spacious, with a large common area perfect for relaxing. The house was clean and well-kept, and the host was very responsive and helpful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend it to others looking for a peaceful getaway.

Peaceful and cozy cabin with everything you need. The whole space was great, but some details we loved were the fireplace, record player and the very comfortable bedding. The big windows were perfect for watching the snowstorm pass by.

Greg’s place is a perfect cottage: homey enough to feel comfortable yet special enough to feel like a treat. The view out the huge window is a lovely mix of sloped pathway/stairs, trees, lake, island in lake and more lake in the distance. The main room has the most comfortable couch and the 500 movies include something for everyone. We especially loved the wood-fired sauna down by the lake. I hope to stay here again!

Was very comfortable to stay at Thomas's cottage. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 kids in the winter. The sauna was especially nice. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything worked well and communication was great.

Melissa sent a series of welcoming messages with step by step instructions. The cabin was a cozy little treehouse with a wood stove that had already started by Melissa to warn up the little place before we checked in. Everything was clean and clear and ready to go. It was obviously Melissa had prepped it as if we were guests or family and did not at all feel like customers. The space was amazing and peaceful and we'll definitely go back. FYI although the cabin has only a wide stove, it keeps you warm. We stayed during a -20C night and got through it just fine. Melissa checked on us multiple times with plenty of firewood to make sure we stay cozy!

It was a perfect girls weekend away, we loved the private hot tub. Beautiful trails, check in was super easy, place was nicely clean and we all felt super safe and comfortable. Will definitely be coming back. 😊

This was our first time staying here and using Airbnb. We had a great stay and would definitely come back again to explore the area more! Everything in the home is comfy and cozy!

We enjoyed our stay. Our family needed a quiet place to rest up and recharge our batteries. Even our dog was able to join us, which was great. Damon was very helpful and provided us with all necessary information prior to coming so we would be aware in advance. He answered all our questions. We would definitely like to come back again.

We definitely got more than we paid for! James was very responsive and kind and his property had everything we needed. It had an ample supply of firewood and it was so peaceful - the view to the lake was absolutely mesmerising. Our two shih-tzus felt right at home. It was an amazing staycation for us. The kitchen was fully stocked and drinking water was provided for. We are now making plans to come back in the summer and also fall. Our last day we had the pleasure of meeting James and he was very nice! Thank you James and wifey for your beautiful property. We can’t wait to be back!
