Roz was the best host. She was extremely responsive and gave us tons of local insights and recommendations. The location was perfect to visit Waiema Canyon and also the north shore. We enjoyed the resort feel but also loved being short drives to more remote beaches and hikes. The WiFi was spotty but they were proactive in fixing it. I wasn’t too worried about it as I was mostly enjoying the outdoors!! I’d definitely recommend staying here. The crowd is a little older but there are some families here and there. Again, my boyfriend and I had the best time and will definitely be back!

We loved the island and the resort was very nice and everyone was very hospitable!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was nice and very comfortable. We ate at some great restaurants close by. We also enjoyed seeing the sea turtles sleeping on the beach, beautiful sunsets and a great dinner cruise along the Napali Coast.

We had a wonderful stay at Janet’s condo. No kitchen but the small space provided was perfect. There is a refrigerator & microwave which was nice, and being able to do laundry was a huge plus. Could probably use a new mattress, it was super soft and bouncy. Other than that we had a great stay.

I had a great stay and highly recommend this place. It was spacious and comfortable, with two bedrooms and plenty of towels available, including pool towels. The pools were beautiful, and we could hear the sound of the waterfall from our bedroom, which made a relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, but it would have been nice to have extras like storage bags, foil, or plastic wrap. We visited in November, so we didn’t need to pay for the add-on air conditioning and appreciated being able to leave the windows open. This is an older building, which does come with some quirks. For example, the sliding glass doors, screen doors, and even bedroom doors were a bit stiff and could use some maintenance to make them easier to use. I’d recommend a deep clean around high-touch areas like door handles and sliding doors. That said, for the price, this place is an excellent value, and the overall experience was wonderful.

This condo on Poipu Beach was fantastic. The location was amazing and the unit was more spacious and affordable than surrounding resorts. A full kitchen was a huge plus! Jonathan gave great instructions and local recommendations. It was peaceful at night and gorgeous 24/7. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Manualoha 303 during Christmas and New Years. Our family of four found the condo perfect for a relaxing vacation. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to Brennecke Beach, which was fantastic for boogie boarding, and Poipu Beach, ideal for our younger children. The availability of beach gear, including a boogie board and chairs, was a thoughtful touch that made our beach days even better. The property was tidy and clean, with a nice outdoor area where we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The two nearby pools were fantastic, and we made great use of the athletic club’s tennis courts—so easy to access. Communication with Koloa Kai was excellent—fast, responsive, and very helpful, which made the rental process smooth and stress-free. The proximity to the airport and other amenities was very convenient. While the unit was comfortable overall, air conditioning would have been appreciated during the late afternoons and evenings on a few warmer days

The hosts provided everything we needed. The accommodations were spotlessly clean, and it was tastefully decorated. They also left a binder containing information about the condo and the surrounding area which we found to be most helpful. The recreational facilities provided were very nice, and the view of the ocean was amazing!

Spectacular location with an unparalleled view for whale watching and tranquility . Listening to the waves at night was a highlight . Beautiful and well equipped place with cooler , hiking poles , beach chairs , and binoculars to see the whales close up , etc . Very comfortable bed also . Would stay again in a heartbeat . .

Loved the beautiful location and all of the beach gear: towels, chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, life vests, and sand toys. Hanalei Bay is so close, which is our favorite beach. Thank you Victoria!

We had a great time at this location! John’s place had everything we needed and more. We are huge beach goers so the 3 beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards were utilized nearly every day we were there. The place was very large and had plenty of space for our family of three to relax, wind down and do all of the things we wanted to do. We sat by the pool a couple days but didn’t use it much as there were such great beaches nearby. Good communication from the owner. I think the only thing for us was the king bed was pretty soft; we are used to sleeping on firm mattresses.

Jolie and Stephen provided clear instructions about the checkin process and were responsive to answer our questions before our trip. The property is lovely and well organized. All lights, remote controls, etc. were clearly labeled. The kitchen was well equipped and organized too. We had a pleasant stay here.

Our family had a great stay. Great location, short walk to the beach, great view of the ocean and you could hear the waves breaking from the lanai. Sam was very helpful and responsive. Well equipped with beach gear & kids gear. Thank you!

This home is in such a beautiful neighborhood with a golf course and lots of walking trails. And in my favorite area, the north shore. There is a shopping center with a really big grocery store and lots of shops right around the corner, and Hanalei is just a few minutes down the hill. The home is just as described, very well stocked with everything you could need (beach and snorkeling supplies, chairs and umbrellas, kitchenware). The bikes were a little crickety, so maybe don’t plan on riding those! There’s not really an outdoor area, but it’s pretty to look at (plan on some crowing at night from the chickens that roost in the tree). Beds and sofas were super comfortable. The host was super friendly, even when we lost something of theirs. We felt right at home!

This home is so beautiful and relaxing. I would absolutely stay in this peaceful home again with my children, it was very welcoming. We were extremely impressed the moment we arrived about how calming it was to walk through the outdoor and indoor spaces. The adults and children all had their own comfortable spaces. With the many windows we mostly had a cool breeze, and used AC only for a humid couple of days after a storm. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, including spices. Our whole family was able to sit at the table for suppers. We had a few different options for coffee and tea, and cozy chairs and comfy couch to relax in. It was very easy to find this home, and my kids loved the park near by. We spent a lot of time out on the covered patio, even during rain. The beach supplies are wonderful. We didn't use the bikes with our younger children, but one adult went for a few rides and enjoyed it! Laundry and shower facilities had everything we needed. Definitely stay here!

We truly enjoyed our stay here at Vicki’s cottage. Everything is just as described and photos are accurate. It is a cute space at the corner of a busy street but nonetheless, still felt very private and spacious. The place was very clean and stocked. I loved the fact that the parking is just outside the cottage and felt like a very safe area. A lot to do in the area surrounding this space which is a bonus, plenty of things nearby and just a five minute drive away. Would recommend this place to anyone who is considering it! The host is very responsive and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. Definitely would book again. Mahalo Vicki!

We had another great stay at Aurora’s place! Perfect house to stay when in Kauai. Aurora was very responsive. Highly recommend this house.

Lovely, lovely home! Such well thought out layout and perfect for our family of four. Lisa was great with communication and while we didn’t need for anything, I felt confident she would have seen to it. Love the property with avocado, grapefruit, and lemon trees! Perfection ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed 10 wonderful days in their well-appointed clean condo. It is nice that both bedrooms had their own TV’s, both beds were very comfortable, and each bedroom also had a nice size walk-in closet. The master bath soaking tub was a well utilized bonus. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and more including a crock pot. We also took advantage of the gorgeous community pool, hot tub, and clean community grill just steps away from their beautifully furnished lanai. Our beach days were enhanced with use of their cooler, beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels. The location of the condo was perfect for our early morning walks along the golf course and the Princeville farmers market. Check in/out was a breeze along with exceptional communication with the local on-island manager, Michelle, and host, Andrea. Thank you!

We LOVED staying at this beautiful home in Poipu. If it’s available grab it now! Had so much space, and everything we could need. The beds were great. Full kitchen was awesome as we made many of our meals here. The big laundry area and newer machines were so nice. Even had AC unit that worked great even though we only used it once. And SO many beach items!! Everything you can think of- chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkel gear, my kids LOVED trying the surfboards. THANK YOU! Amazing location!! Loved how we could walk over to poipu beach- every night we watched the sunset there and the turtles come up on shore to rest (about 30 of them!) Also 2 minute drive to Shipwreck beach- I ran there every morning to see the sunrise. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks Jake!!

Great house, spacious, comfortable. As others have said, it does get quite warm inside in the afternoons, but the lanai always had a breeze. Besides, we came to Kauai in January to be warm! And the multiple fans worked great. Bonus (and I hate to jinx it!): somehow there were no roosters in the neighborhood! One small complaint, both bathrooms are en-suite so it was a bit complicated with our multi-generational family. But we worked it out. Would definitely stay again.
