Beachfront holiday rentals in Kauai

Beautiful place with a great view of the water. This is my first trip involving a flight and first time going to Kauai. The experience was great and this place was a contributor to my great experience. It had just the right amount of space for me and my girlfriend. We loved this place and just how much there was to do.

Can’t beat the views, central location & aloha at Cash’s place. Waking up to sunrise each morning was a dream. Cozy and comfortable for a long weekend.

We only stayed one night at Evans’ but really wished we had more time. The house is beautiful and surrounded by trees creating rainforest vibes! The whole house was clean and very comfortable. All communication and check-in was very smooth. We could also spend a little time with Evans before checking out and had a lovely conversation together. Evans went above and beyond to make us feel right at home.

Wonderful place for a family vacation. Has everything you need for a beach holiday and fully stocked kitchen is a huge plus. Great view!

Tom’s updated room was perfect for us. The walk-in shower, a/c, counter space, and two mini fridges were great. The parking pass was conveniently located on the counter in the room. We loved being close to the ocean, pool, tiki bar, and grilling area. We were always able to find a lounge chair on the beach and pool. People walked regularly on the sidewalk in front of us, but we expected that and felt far enough away. The landscaping at the resort was beautiful and many of the plants were labeled. The plants around our room provided privacy by the side window and even the patio area. We took advantage of the water bottle re-fill station by the front desk in the lobby, as well as Coconut Marketplace, which was steps away, for their restaurants, shops, and ABC store. We would not hesitate to recommend this Airbnb to family and friends.

Puu Poa did not disappoint! The condo was spacious with great views of the ocean.

So nice to stay here again! Everything was perfect. The house is so clean and organized. We spent a wonderful week here relaxing and listening to the waves. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Wonderful stay ! We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and several lounging areas. It was very quiet . We saw whales breaching in the distance and albatross flying by. It’s mating season and 4 albatross (and baby) were directly across from the house- they put on quite a show! Very fun to watch. We took many walks and loved the location. We hope to return!

My fiancée and I stayed here while exploring Kauai and it’s by far our favorite airbnb! It’s always a great feeling when the airbnb is even nicer than the photos. We loved drinking our morning coffee and walking outside to enjoy one of the best views Kauai has to offer. The airbnb is in a great location and was clean, quiet and relaxing. It’s close to beaches, shops, restaurants and hiking trails - which we enjoyed everyday. We explored the entire island and Princeville is by far our favorite area. We will definitely stay here again!

Vicky was incredibly helpful before we arrived and during our stay. Her area recommendations were spot on and super helpful. She helped us find a few hidden gems in the area, and reinforced an idea we already had on our list of things to do. She handled a hiccup on the first day with quick communication, grace and kindness. The condo unit is exactly as described, in perfect shape, has all that we needed and more. Super convenient to use the beach chairs and boogie boards and condo unit provides beach towels- all to make the experience easier for travelers. We appreciated the oceanfront location, sound of the waves, views, proximity to snorkeling / lifeguarded beach at the park right next door. The location also makes an easy drive both north to Hanalei Bay and south/west to poipu and or Waimea canyon. Instructions for the house were perfect and spot on. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. When we do, we will absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic. Views are amazing. AC is slow but eventually gets there. Nice to have that. We saw many turtles swimming in the water from the balcony. Also saw dolphins and whales! Can't beat it. We loved that they didn't require starting the dishwasher or towels upon check out, but we did anyway.

Michelle's place is in a perfect location near the airport and in between Hanalei to the North and Waimea to the Southwest. Walkable to the local Safeway and several restaurants and food trucks. We especially loved hearing the ocean waves 24/7 and watching the sunrise from the balcony every morning. The amenities, including the Washer/Dryer, are topnotch so don't be afraid to pack light. Michelle was easy to contact and very friendly. Would absolutely book again.

Throughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful accommodations, fully stocked kitchen & unit! (needs tongs & a potato peeler though!) The pool was peaceful and beach just a quick walk away. The blinds let in a lot of light, so if you need to nap a baby- it’s very challenging. There is so much space here & the patio is amazing. Lots of comfortable furniture. Highly recommend!

Hands down our best Airbnb experience ever, the house is better than the photos, was clean, comfortable and right on a beach with a wonderfully well kept and large yard. It was a pleasure to come back to it each day after exploring the island. That said, what made the trip exceptional was the host, Kendall was a pleasure to interact with, always responsive and super helpful regarding the house and the area, made several recommendations and even called local resources to confirm that certain parks were open or closed during our stay. We can highly recommend staying here, no regrets.

Our stay at Ellen’s really could not have been better. We loved her beautiful home and enjoyed feeling a part of the Kapa’a community. Access to the beach was simple—we went multiple times a day. It was so nice to meet and chat with her. She thought of all the details for our stay. We really had everything we needed and more. We’d definitely come again and maybe rent both her homes next time! My wife and I enjoyed staying at this condo. We have stayed at Hanalei Bay Resort in the past and enjoy the natural beauty and location of the complex itself. This lower level unit has amazing views, a great lanai, and is furnished with almost all the things you would hope to have. A boogie board would have been an added bonus. The only thing I think others may want to know before renting this unit is that there is a door that passes through to another unit next door. The door was closed for our stay, but we could hear the neighbors comings and goings and conversations very clearly. Fortunately, during our stay, the neighbors were considerate of this and it wasn't much of an issue. Overall I would highly consider renting this unit again.

It’s a clean and spacious for 4 adults, and a nice location- walking distance to the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances for what we need. Also plenty of beach towels and beach chairs, inflatable tubes. My daughter loved sleeping with the sound of beach waves. Susanne responded to my questions quickly and kindly.

Very comfortable apartment. Met our expectations from the description. A convenient location to be able to drive around the island. David provided helpful suggestions of things to see and do. Both bedrooms were very comfortable but it is worth noting that for light sleepers, the front bedroom can be noisy due to people coming and going in the car park and the main road traffic. Also to be aware that the second bedroom is connected to the living room by a screen door which does not cut out light or noise if someone is up or watching TV.

The ocean sound throughout the place was amazing! Loved the backyard. Great beach and location!

We loved our stay in Kauai! The room was super clean, the resort had beautiful grounds and the pool and hot tub were well maintained. We enjoyed the pool bar as well. The room comes stocked with everything - shampoo, tp, paper towels, etc. The beach is just a few steps beyond the stairs. It wasn’t too crowded and it was a short walking distance to a ton of stores and restaurants. We had multiple choices each day for all meals within about a 5 minute walk. The beach chairs came in handy too!
