Did not disappoint! The house is spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views of the river and marsh. Setting is private and peaceful. The layout was perfect for our group of 12 that included ages ranging from toddler to great-grandparents. We found the house clean and well-equipped. Plenty of room for everyone to gather together or to escape to a bedroom or nook for some quiet time. Thank you to Ruby, who was an excellent, attentive host!

This home was the perfect fit for our large group of 14. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and the place was very accommodating! Larkin was very responsive and helped out immediately with any questions we had. The kitchen was fully stocked and all the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels and blankets, dishes, etc. for our entire group. The location is a small quaint town. The Blue Crab down the street had some delicious food but other than that there isn’t much around so you definitely need to hit up the store. The Food Lion is less than 10min away for groceries. Williamsburg is 30min away and Yorktown about 45min away- we visited both towns to explore. Overall a marvelous stay!

We had a wonderful stay!! The house was so clean and tidy & we were glad to have such a well-stocked kitchen! A very nice place to unwind and feel at home for a couple weeks :)

I loved my stay at this lake house! The location is beautiful and offers a private retreat from the hustle and bustle of city living. The host was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend this airbnb for a couple or solo retreat!

This was my second stay at Renee’s cottage. It was as peaceful as I remembered. My husband and I had such a relaxing time, walking the dog and enjoying the wildlife, lounging in the overstuffed couches, and drinking our coffee on the screened in porch. One of our favorite places to stay.

let me get this straight. I am VERY picky with air bnbs. I look for 3 things •“Ratings” ( which are clearly amazing) •“what it looks like” ( exactly like the pictures and was so beautiful and homey, felt like I actually lived there.) •“ how safe is the town” (I looked it up and the areas crime rate is very low, and I always felt very safe staying there) •Our air bnb was cancelled last minute and was able to find Talita’s air bnb last minute. She responded very fast and saved me and my boyfriends 4 day get away. The money is worth it. •Area:The city is about 20-30 minutes away and a food lion is 2 minute away from the place. Overseeing acres of land and the night stars are beautiful •Place: beautiful, exactly what was pictured. Me and my boyfriend loved it so much we booked an another night last minute.
