We had a beautiful stay here 😊 lovely, peaceful surroundings and just what we wanted for a last minute getaway. The hut was slightly difficult to find in the dark but what a stunning place it is! Would definitely recommend this place to all 😁

Shepherds Hut | Glamping | Countryside

KarenRating, 5 stars56 months ago
A wonderful glamping/country farm site. We stayed in the Norfolk shepherds hut and it was perfect - spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could want. A well thought-out brochure to download onto your phone with all the information you could need for your stay. Complimentary fresh free range eggs! Just perfect.

Unique Shepherds hut close to Broads National Park

SonyaRating, 5 stars11 months ago
"Wow" what a find! Such a beautiful place and so peaceful. The Shepherds hut was even better than it looked ,in the pictures and very spacious considering. It was spotless inside and had everything you needed. I loved that we arrived to homemade cakes and goodies in the fridge. My son loved the animals and we were very lucky to meet Bob who kindly told my son about the animals and let him help feed some of them. Bob and Helen are excellent hosts, they go above and beyond from start to finish and nothing is to much trouble. We shall be back.

Enchanted Woodland Glamping Cabin King Nutkin

Lovely place. Loved walking through the pines in the morning. Is a bit noisy with the A road and RAF Marham, but it is in Norfolk and not the Highlands, and was peaceful in morning and evening.

The Bohemian Blue Hut "down by the river"

Lauren KateRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Stunning spot by the river, seeing a kingfisher from bed was really special! Watched the barn owl hunting across the fields for ages too. Martin and his partner were lovely and we had total uninterrupted privacy down by the river. The hut is beautiful, the bed is so comfy and cosy. Everything was perfect, thank you very much!

Tanganyika Hut

JessicaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Just returned from our stay making lots of memories. The hut was beautiful inside and out.. it had everything needed. The children loved it! Very cosy and homely. We enjoyed our evenings around the fire pit roasting marshmallows and grilling up food. We played plenty of board games in the hut and got a comfortable nights sleep with plenty of space. Waking up to stunning views and wildlife on the door step with plenty of lovely walks topped off a winters break. Beautiful surroundings absolutely worth every penny would love to return in the warmer seasons. Thank you very much! Jess and family.😊

Shepherd hut -secluded riverside location

SimonRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Helen's hut was exactly what I needed while in Cambridge. It was quiet, calm, peaceful. A great comfortale bed, bathroom and kitchen. Really nice decorations. Helen was lovely to speak to - both when booking and when checking in. It's a shame I didn't get to talk with her more. She provided local knowledge and just left me to myself - which was exactly what you need after long days in the office. I would definitely stay again if Helen would have me.

The Scrumpy Shepherd, Brandeston

MarcRating, 5 stars19 months ago
Beautiful location, unbelievably quiet, beautiful scenery. Followed the instructions to the hut which are spot on, definitely a wow from us when we went inside. Log burner available if it’s chilly at night. Decor is Pristine, lovey little touches here and there. Couldn’t fault anything lovey and clean, nice comfy bed and bedding, with little extras on arrival to enjoy on the fire pit outside. 😊 Would highly recommend if you need to get away from noise and the hustle and bustle of city life, it is so so quiet. Lovely little pub round the corner if you enjoy walking, nice food pleasant staff. Only thing I would say is bit difficult to get the fire pit or log burner started with no paper. Kindling and logs available though.

Glamping Shepherds Hut - Holt Hollow North Norfolk

FrankRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Occasionally an Airbnb "off grid" can be a bit fragmented - toilets & kitchens separate from the 'hut but here everything is self contained with immaculate shower/toilet facilities. the kitchen was perfectly functional, clean & efficient. Beautiful environment (a few other 'huts on site but everybody is spaced apart and private), heavily wooded area with substantial lake & abundant wildlife. If we needed to come back to Norfolk again we wouldn't hesitate in returning to this venue.

Unique one bedroom Shepard Hut. Rural Location

SeanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I booked because I was overwhelmed and needed a break from the demands and busyness of life. This was absolutely my saviour! No interruptions, no noise, my dog was happy she could run free on her walk and then slept all day! So cozy warm even though the wind was blowing and the hut slightly rocking 😂 lots of blankets and pillows if I needed them. I slept like a log. Lovely generous hamper of wine and cocktails, marshmallows and snacks. I’ll likely come here once a month from now on, perfect for me 🥰

The Owl's rest is a gorgeous, cozy retreat set in beautiful countryside. The hut has everything you need and is fine to a very high standard. The bed was really cosy and comfortable with lovely views. It is a perfect place to get away from everything, relax and unwind.

Traditional shepherd's hut no.2

VictoriaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We really enjoyed our stay in the shepherd's hut, and it actually exceeded our expectations! We stayed for New Year's Eve and despite the chilly weather, we were cosy and warm inside thanks to the powerful electric heater and the many blankets. Also, if anyone looking would find it helpful to know, towels and a hairdryer are provided! I didn't see them on the listing (perhaps I missed it) and it's so useful not to have to pack those things. We also found Stephen, Andy and all of the pub staff to be really friendly and helpful. Thank you again.

Retreat in nature: North Norfolk Shepherd's Hut

NadineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was the third time we stayed at Brushwood Nook and as before we felt right at home straight away. It’s a gorgeous gem of a place in the middle of a beautiful field in Norfolk but with all mod cons. A delightful little tardis that miraculously manages to comfortably fit all four of us. It’s become our annual winter mini-retreat to beat the January Blues with Norfolk blue skies and vitamin sea. Natasha and Sean are lovely hosts who are very attentive and yet considerate. PS: This time we also discovered Bread of Haven in Ridlington and pre-ordered two delicious freshly baked loaves of bread for Saturday morning - that was breakfast sorted for both days. Highly recommend!

Exclusive & Unique, Luxury Lodge in Norfolk

BrianRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Foxtail Lodge was really perfect for a very peaceful getaway. The lodge is really high spec, has everything you need for cooking and relaxing and the jacuzzi was amazing. The immediate surroundings are all woodland with some great walks and the village had a nice pub within walking distance. Jennifer's communications were great and she's very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Foxtail Lodge.

Riverside Shepherd's Hut

MattRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We drove out from Hertfordshire for relaxing night away from home and got exactly what we hoped for. The hut was easy to access, private and immaculately presented with all modern features and everything you could need from a self catering holiday within a super cosy space. We wish we had planned to stay longer so we could make better use of it! Hayley and Ian were excellent hosts and even booked a table on our behalf at the local pub which is all of a minute’s easy walk up the road and does great food!
