The cottage was great. Rustic with a lot of character and reminded me of St Lawrence and Finger Lakes vacations when I was a kid. We've stayed at a number of places on the river over the years and this was the first time upon arrival I turned to my wife and said..."Now THIS is a river cottage." It had everything you could ever want to just be at the river and enjoy yourself. Susan was a great host, gave detailed, easy, and clear instructions and was very responsive.

The Hay Bay Hideaway exceeded our group's wildest dreams for the perfect End of Summer get-away. We could not have asked for a more peaceful and unique property and home, with exceptionally communicative, helpful, and gracious hosts. Our group of 10 slept comfortably in the 5 bedrooms this historic home offers, indulged in the well stocked pantries, utilized the gorgeous selection of vintage dish-ware, and experienced cozy nights by the beautiful wood stove fireplaces while enjoying a wide array of musical instruments available throughout the home. This property backs onto a private inlet with still, lily pad covered water, visited by blue herons, kingfishers, blue jays and many other woodland friends. We also enjoyed the various watercrafts, including a row boat, pedal boat, and canoe on the open water that connects directly to the small inlet. The experience was incredibly unique, absolutely smooth and accessible, and deeply memorable. A return trip is definitely in the works :)

My spouse and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was wonderful. The cottage is right on the lake, so it was scenic and peaceful. The property is well maintained and welcoming with lots of outdoor seating. The cottage itself was clean, well organized and cozy. Colombe provided a lot of helpful information and was very responsive. We felt right at home, looking forward to visiting again and would highly recommend to anyone!

A wonderful quiet few days - excellent privacy and on the water. Lots to do in PEC, and lovey to return to Aminah's private and cozy retreat. The place was clean, uncluttered, and perfectly suited our needs. Great fire pit, too. We were there for Thanksgiving weekend with our adult kids - too cold for swimming, but being on the water is still magical.

Josh and Amanda were great to communicate with, their responses were quick and friendly! The place was perfect for our group fishing trip! We were rained out one day, the space had ample space for us all the hangout inside. We will book this place again if we return!

Lainie and Gene have a lovely Airbnb, with every comfort you could want. An unobstructed view of the bay. Communication was terrific and helpful, and they went the extra mile to make me feel safe and comfortable. I will definitely be back!

This was my second time starting at Serenity Bay Resort, and it just keeps getting better! These hosts keep the grounds so well maintained, there's so much for the kids to do, and the hottubs at the cottages are just a perfect touch! Always nice and clean and tidy, with everything needed for your stay. We will definitely be booking another getaway here!

It was a pleasure staying at David's place. David, Brian, and Mikey were all incredibly welcoming and kind. They gave us a brief tour of the house, and it truly feels like a museum! The photos on the website don't do it justice — the property is AMAZING. David was also very attentive and responsive. They even had a small breakfast ready for us. I would love to come back.

Such a special place. I was visiting my family for Thanksgiving and wanted to find a cottage that would accommodate a family of 5. By a stroke of luck I was able to book Kevin and Melissa’s place. (Due to a last minute cancellation). There was a full weekend of thanksgiving events. They went ALL out!! The trailer was so beautiful and comfortable. And the view from all the windows and deck are breathtaking. Wonderful place and wonderful people. Will definitely be back!

Revitalizing this property has clearly been an undertaking which is obvious the owners care about. Would recommend Grand Chalet for larger groups!!

It was a great stay and very accommodating. Kids enjoyed the pool table and foosball indoors as well as the pool and lake outside. The kitchen and view of the lake was amazing. Lots of fishing was done from the docks and petal boat and some paddling from the kayak and paddle board (we brought this).

This was a perfect place to stay to experience all PEC has to offer. Jen was a fabulous host- very communicative and extremely helpful, especially as we enjoyed our first time in Canada. The resort staff were super friendly. The neighbors are fabulous and the house was immaculate and comfortable. Excellent experience from booking through our departure.

Comfortable, spacious accommodation on top floor of a historic limestone house on one of the most charming streets in Kingston, easy walk to downtown, Queen's University, and Kingston General Hospital. Guests can make their own coffee / tea / simple breakfast from supplies provided in the first floor kitchen. John always answered messages promptly and was a friendly and welcoming host.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The space was cozy, well-kept, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were thoughtful and attentive, making sure I felt right at home. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Great location with good sized deck overlooking the water, walkable to everything in downtown Clayton…parking could have been a problem mid-day but otherwise ideal

Joanie’s cottage was an absolute delight to stay at! My friends and I had a wonderful time enjoying the hot tub and sauna as well as the snowmobiling and ice fishing on the lake. She was incredibly accommodating and even had a crib and booster seat for my friends baby! Highly recommend and would definitely want to go back to enjoy this cottage again!

This home is stunning, and well equipped, in a beautiful location. It was outstanding to be right on the lake with kayaks and canoes. Nights were spent grilling, having bonfires, and looking out over the lake (or up at the stars) in the hot tub. Everything was fantastic - the only downfall is accessibility, as you need to take a ferry to the island. At the end of the day though, the ferry was just an extra piece of planning and research, but was unproblematic. Great house - thank you Maria!

We rented Sonny and Anne’s cottage for a week long fishing trip. Sonny kept in constant contact with us prior to the trip, answering any questions that we had. He provided great directions. Sonny met us at check in. The cottage was very clean and we felt right at home. There was a very nice dock for our boats, and the view of the lake was outstanding. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!

We had a wonderful, restful and peaceful time. The house was so comfortable, spacious, well-appointed and had everything we needed for indoor and outdoor fun. The lakeside was so beautiful and we so enjoyed watching all the bird life every day and canoeing in the evening followed by a bonfire. The hosts were really responsive to our questions and needs. It was just what we needed for some quality family time!

We had the most amazing stay at Windswept on Wolfe Island! This was one of our favorite Airbnb’s ever! The space is so cozy, clean, and comfortable. We will definitely come back for a second stay. Everything was exceptional! Sally and Keith were terrific hosts and were so incredibly accommodating. Sally is an amazing baker and brought us fresh croissants and delicious bread! Sally also has a beautiful vegetable garden equipped with fresh kale, garlic, peppers, and herbs which she so graciously shared with us. We made a fantastic salad once we arrived! If you are looking for a peaceful romantic getaway Windswept will not disappoint you!
