This stay was amazing! A perfect quiet retreat surrounded by the Irish countryside! The hosts are so nice and always responsive. Hope to go back again sometime!

We had the most wonderful few days at beautiful Tigh Anne-Marie. It is comfortable, bright, and spotlessly clean, and has the most amazing sea views. The house is perfectly located, only a short (and hugely scenic) walk to stunning Inchydoney beach and hotel. Scally’s SuperValu in Clonakilty is only a 10 minute drive away. We also enjoyed using the sauna, which is easy to use and has a stunning view. Esther and Cillian were responsive and friendly communicators and were very quick to help us with any issues we had. We hope to come back soon again!

Loved the house and amenities, the hydrobath and sauna are amazing and the view is beautiful. So nice chilling out in the jacuzzi looking at the mountains and stars

Really fantastic place to stay. The accommodation was perfect for us: great shower, comfy bed, friendly reception and a fully equipped kitchen. We've stayed in many Airbnb's but this one stands out due to the host going the extra mile. Bonus points for providing a really good iron and ironing board! I'll be recommending this place to friends and family.

Gerard and Ann were amazing hosts. The cottage was so clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub and sauna so much. It was a really great way to end both days of our stay. It was a great location, as it is just a few minutes outside the town and very peaceful. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely like to stay here again. If really can’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommended!

Lovely cottage, beautiful scenery, private jaccuzzi was the highlight of our stay. Liz was very helpful and was quick to help when we needed something. Left us treats for our arrival and a lovely note which was a very nice touch and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend and hope to be back!

We loved the location. It was great being able to bring the dogs with us, and go for walks to the nearby beach. The view from the garden was stunning. Finally, communication from Sarah was prompt and lots of useful recommendations for staying in the area. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay with our family. The house was spacious, comfortable and set in a lovely location. The garden was a real highlight for the kids to play in. Keith was friendly and made us feel welcome from the start - we would definitely visit again.

This was our second time as this cottage and it was as good as the first time. Barbara is very friendly and helpful. She dealt with any queries very promptly. We will be back again I'm sure and would recommend this cottage for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

This was the most idyllic cottage we could have imagined for our New Years stay. David recommended the best local pub for us to enjoy a traditional Irish new years and it made our trip so great. He was so friendly and welcoming and let us pet the horses. He had lots of history and insight to offer and this place is perfect for any country Irish holiday dreams!

Lovely accommodation in beautiful West Cork. really good restoration and conversion of two old dwellings. Kevin was easy to communicate with, providing prompt informative responses. We stayed in March when few places were open. Sugarloaf cafe worth a visit. And Garnish is a good day out. Had lovely weather, so enjoyed walking in the area around the cottage. Happy to recommend.

We absolutely loved our long weekend in Annette’s cottage - it was so cosy and had absolutely everything we needed. Annette was so friendly and a fantastic host - she gave us loads of recommendations and had even left a little welcome basket of goodies. We had the most relaxing weekend - will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time staying at Des‘ cottage. If you are looking for a modern take on the traditional Irish Cottage - this is the place for you! Super cozy, has everything you need and more. Des provided everything for a delicious breakfast and was extremely helpful along the way. Also the place has everything if you are traveling with a small child as we were. 5 Star rating is more than deserved! We hope to be back :-)

So delighted we decided to stay in the cottage. For anyone who loves nature and remoteness and appreciates where our forefathers trod this is the perfect place. Mags and her husband have honoured the people who previously lived in the cottage by restoring it . Lauragh is such a lovely spot with kenmare only 25mins away. Thank you both very much for a lovely get away.

Pat and Gertie were warm and accommodating and Gertie’s homemade apple pie waiting for us when we arrived was a nice surprise. We stayed in the cottage with our one-year-old, and while it took a bit of creative baby proofing, we made it work! Gertie helped us coordinate bike rentals for the greenway which was a highlight of our stay.

Lovely cosy cottage with the fire lit - sheep and chickens for neighbours and a really nice living space. Well appointed kitchen too. Wish we'd been able to stay longer.

We had a lovely stay at Riona’s and Paddy’s place. The appartement had everything we needed. Riona was super welcoming and we loved that she baked some fresh bread for us upon arrival. I would highly recommend staying here if you are exploring the Kingdom.

Wonderful cottage with easy access to the surrounding countryside and sites. Kate is a fantastic host who made us feel right at home and the delicious homemade bread, butter and jam was an unexpected and very welcome treat! Will definitely book again if/when we return! Thanks very much Kate!

Brendan’s cottage is a great stay. Catherine is an excellent host and kindly met us when we arrived, ensuring everything in the cottage was ok. She also provided us with recommendations of where to eat in Dungarvan and other local towns and very responsive with any questions we had. The cottage was so peaceful and quaint and the perfect getaway for a couple. Would highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Patricia’s cottage. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The accommodations were clean, cozy, and well- equipped with everything we needed for a perfect family break. The location was ideal, allowing us to easily explore the area. We had a wonderful stay at Ur's House! The location is incredibly peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. From the moment we arrived, Urs was warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure that we felt comfortable and at home. Lounging on the couch in front of the stove with a DVD playing was just amazing. The house itself was spotless—neat, tidy, and very well-maintained. Everything we could possibly need was readily available, from kitchen essentials to thoughtful touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a space that is both functional and inviting. Having no wifi and limited mobile reception enhanced the experience. I would highly recommend Ur's House to anyone looking for a serene getaway with exceptional hospitality. Thank you for such a memorable experience!
