Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Kodiak Island

The Reunion House was perfect for our trip to visit our son, who is stationed there with the United States Coast Guard. The house was incredibly spacious, clean, quiet, and well suited for guests of all ages. We had people with us from age 5 to 67, and it was enjoyable for everyone. The location is great, and there was plenty of room for parking. My son and I cooked dinner together several nights, and the kitchen was wonderful! We came from Texas, so this was a very big trip for us. But the host, Yung, made it as easy as possible and was very accommodating. The beautiful, spacious house allowed us to relax together as a family after some really amazing Alaskan adventures. We highly recommend The Reunion House, and can’t say enough good things about Yung.

This spot is perfect. It's nice to be outside of the "0city" in a quiet neighborhood located right in the middle of great hiking, camping, hunting, fishing...etc. The cabin is about 100 yards from the Russian River which provides pretty decent silver salmon and dolly fishing. The Little Store is just down the street and has pretty much everything you need. Josh was great at communicating with us.

Convenient location, beautiful home. Easy to walk to nearby park if you’re traveling with children. Lots of books to read, including children’s books. Looks just like the photos.

Host was super responsive and the place was incredible! Would stay again and would recommend to anyone!

Born and raised on the island, but staying here felt like a new world! What a beautiful piece of Kodiak. The house was spacious, clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed and more. Jeff and his wife were so kind and opened their beautiful home to our family. Would love to come back and stay again one day. The banya was hot, the views were exceptional, and we loved the peace and tranquillity. Beautiful beaches, four wheeling, paddle boarding and site seeing.

Absolutely beautiful home! Every room is beautifully decorated with a lovely blend of modern sensibilities and Kodiak charm, plus the view is probably the best you could ask for anywhere in Alaska. Derron is easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

The place is homey and comfortable. Recommend if you need a nice place to stay.

Rustic Alaska cabin completely and tastefully updated overlooking a jade green lake and old growth spruce. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return when business brings me to Kodiak!

This was my second stay and it was somehow more comfortable than last time, I don’t know how. A lovely private space. I could have cooked a full meal there. All the amenities I could want. Will stay again.
