Holiday rentals with beach access in Koggala Beach

Just as advertised and a great location. Close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Very clean and spacious. Staff is lovely! If you’re a light sleeper, there are announcements early in the morning close to location over a loud speaker. Other than that, we loved our stay!

I’m a single woman traveling alone from the U.S. and from the first moment meeting the hosts, I felt like I was part of this beautiful family. I have friends forever here! So warm and welcoming and accommodating. What a beautiful example of Sri Lankan hospitality. The hostess is always eager to cook you a delicious Sri Lankan meal. They put in so much effort to make sure that I was comfortable and had everything I need. Excellent all around! Incredible value, excellent Wi-Fi, beautiful home, quick access to Hikkaduwa beach. The host has also been my personal tour guide of the area, which has a lot to see and experience. In particular the tsunami of 2004 was quite devastating to this area, and there are many memorials that are heart-opening. This family even rented a car and drove me eight hours to the center of the island where we spent the night together experiencing other sites! Incredible! I would highly recommend this home for anyone wanting to have a unique, personal experience!

Nalaka and his family are the highlight of this place. You get your privacy but you also feel completely embraced by the presence of a loving family. Nalaka is an extremely gifted cook, the kingfish he made for my dinner upon arrival was exceptional. The house is truly beautiful and the passion of hosting and taking care of guests is so genuine. We had an excellent stay at this apartment and appreciated all the thoughtful details. Communication with Dakshan was smooth and supportive from start to finish - he was very helpful, always quick to respond, and offered great assistance whenever we had questions or needed guidance. The apartment itself was in top-notch condition, featuring powerful air conditioning, fast internet, and a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. The spacious layout and separate showers in each room gave everyone plenty of privacy and comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the modern yet cosy feel instantly made us feel at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly stay here again.

We had a super nice time in Gianluca's apartment! The place itself is not only insanely stylish and comfortable, but also perfectly located – right by the sea and surrounded by cool bars, cafes, and restaurants. The atmosphere was special! Gianluca was a really great host: he provided us with many good tips, was always proactive and the communication was very nice and straightforward. We felt completely comfortable. A clear recommendation – we will be happy to come back! 🌴🌞🏄🏼‍♀️

We really loved our stay in the apartment. It's very nicely designed and has everything that's needed. Also, we really enjoyed cooking in the outside kitchen. The place has a nice working area if you ever need to be productive. Eva was a great host. She was there for us all the time and helped us a lot with everything. The beach is very close and several shops aren't far away.

This place was so beautiful, we had the perfect stay. The owner Nuwan was lovely and extremely helpful, they also provided with a scooter which was so great for getting around. The Airbnb had two double beds, the one we stayed in was comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. A great stay and I would highly recommend for anyone coming to Sri Lanka.

Chathura is an incredibly and polite host who will make you feel at home instantly. This is the perfect accommodation for a stay in Hikkaduwa, it has everything you could ask for, for the best possible price. If you have any questions or problems chat, Chathura I will help you with it. You will also get the chance to learn about cinnamon production and how to cook a traditional Sri Lankan meal. Definitively recommended

We had a great stay at Bandula’s villa! Bandula was so helpful and friendly. The place was clean and perfectly located. We would 100% stay here again if we came back to Sri Lanka

really nice house, and really nice host, wasn’t quite where the pin location was, but they let us use the scooter so was easy enough to get around, also quite nice to be a little set back from the main hustle of weligama

This villa was perfect! Very spacious and both rooms had plenty of privacy. Short walk to the beach and several great restaurants. We extended our stay by a week because the house was so comfortable. Nilu was also very quick with communication whenever we needed anything. Thanks again!

The villa is fabulous! Absolutely stunning, spacious and private. Looks exactly like pictures. Sudda was extremely responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Weligama.

Wonderful view of the sea

We are a travelling family and the villa was just perfect for us. We also work online so we needed a quick internet - and it worked very well. Sanjaya and his family are warm beautiful people and they always helped us with anything we asked for. We also enjoyed the garden that is full of birds. Very recommended accomodation! I stayed in the guest cottage on a lovely private (gated) property full of jungly trees, birds, and monkeys! Eva has built a paradise. It was wonderful to walk down to yoga a few times. Overall it's exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet (except for all the bird chatter, but that was lovely). Also the staff are so lovely and helpful and smiling. Just a reminder that there's no AC, and you are in the jungle so be obsessively clean in the kitchen (hello ants) and don't let the little lizards scare you. I named one Fred. :). If the wifi doesn't work, just find the wifi repeater and ensure it's plugged in, and ta da, the signal perks right up. Highly recommend.

The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was convenient, and all amenities worked perfectly. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth and straightforward. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the apartment's setup and the host's quick communication. Would definitely recommend this place to other travelers and would love to stay here again!

Very worth for the price! Easy to walk to nearby beaches and cafes. Definitely hard to sleep in at all since the road gets quite loud with busses honking. The house is next to the forest/jungle so there are many small bugs like ants in the bathroom and sometimes the bedroom but it’s not so bad, just something to be aware of. The power went out a few times during our stay but apparently that’s pretty normal for this region especially if it is raining. Overall would still recommend for good location and price. Padma was able to do our laundry as well for a small fee

The old chilli house really did feel like a home from home. In a great location Kris and his family were very warm and welcoming. Kris is a natural host and had contacts for anything we wanted to do. From Tuk Tuk and Scooter rides when needed to his amazing knowledge of the area. We were so lucky to experience this little slice of paradise. The old chilli house has beautiful rooms, with attention to small, homey details. Do not hesitate to book, it’s a popular airbnb for a reason!
