Beautiful house. Great staff! We had a great time. Kathleen was helpful even from abroad and the staff who live on site were well trained. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Kampala or anyone who lives here who is looking for a little staycation.

I chose franks place because of its close proximity to Acacia Mall and the many night clubs on Acacia Avenue. I did check out franks place before I went and knew then that it was back off the main road and very quiet.

It was a great spacious place to stay in a good neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. We opted for the chef for breakfast the food and service were great. Would return again someday.

My family and I had an incredible time in this beautiful home! We created wonderful memories that we’ll cherish forever. Carolyn and Junior were exceptionally helpful and flexible, making our stay even more enjoyable. The property caretakers were also fantastic. Our adult children and grandchildren absolutely loved the swimming pool—it was the highlight of their trip! The location was very private, safe, and quiet, providing the perfect retreat for our family. I can’t wait to stay here again on our next trip to Uganda. Thank you, Carolyn and Junior, for an unforgettable experience!

A peaceful, quiet, relaxing home away from home

We loved staying at Hibiscus House and were very sad to leave. We felt right at home and Joseph was friendly and helpful. The house had everything we needed, was very clean and everything worked properly. Joseph was always around when we needed but never obtrusive or in the way and it was lovely to see his friendly face in the morning or end of a long day in Kampala. The garden and outside spaces created are beautiful and peaceful, a little haven amongst the city chaos. Joseph was quick to resolve any issues we had or teach us how to use something like the stove and geysers etc. The house is as advertised with the right rooms and bathrooms etc. Everything was great and we would definitely stay here again and hope the opportunity does arise one day.

I had a fantastic stay at Barbara's Airbnb with my friends. Barbara's excellent communication and flexibility made the experience even more enjoyable. The place is beautiful, providing a wonderful backdrop for our stay. Highly recommend!

This was the first time to rent an Airbnb place to stay. The place is safe, quiet and clean. The owner has great customer service skills. He communicates well and listened carefully to us when we had some little concerns. He also provided some other services that we dididn't expect to get. I would highly recommend this place to those who need a nice place to stay while they are in Kampala for either business or family travels.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful AirBnB, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail that the host had put into the space. Everything was spotless, and it felt like stepping into a warm, inviting home. Security was another standout feature during my stay. The neighborhood felt safe, and the host provided clear instructions on how to access the property, which offered an added layer of peace of mind. I appreciated the thoughtful security measures in place, ensuring that I could relax and enjoy my trip without any worries. The location is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city. Despite the tranquility, it was remarkably convenient—public transport options were easily accessible, allowing for quick and easy trips into the heart of the city. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend.

Cozy studio, in a private and quiet complex.

I stayed at Winnie’s place twice, that’s how impressed I was by her cozy little apartment. It had everything you would need and she went an extra step to provide things you don’t typically find in Airbnbs. Very fast response to any issues and immediate assistance. 10/10

I love everything about Stalla place. The house was very clean and beautiful we have a very thing we need. And Stalla was extremely responsive and very nice.. The experience in general was amazing and I definitely recommend it to you. ❤️❤️❤️

After our previous stay, this time we stayed even longer. Once again it’s been very pleasant. By and large we can repeat what we wrote in Oct 2023, so please feel free to refer to that one. Obviously a longer stay means there’s more room for problems to occur. While hosts Allan/Joan are always responsive and helpful, sometimes a problem is beyond their control. We’ve had some power, internet, water issues, and the fixes were a bit slow due for the most part to incompetent staff. We like this compound, this unit, and the location, but it helps to know that quite a variety of things can go wrong in this compound and the fix may take longer than you’d expect. Despite that, we consider this unit great value for money, and the majority of our time here was great.

Ashley was great - responsive and very helpful. The apartment was absolutely fantastic: clean, tidy and well equipped. Cleaner came in on my second day which was great. Location is very convenient for Kisementi and Acacia Mall. Easy to get a Boda Boda (recommend via SafeBoda app). Good internet access and great views of the city from the rooftop. The place is also secure with guarded gates 24/7. The area is very safe too. I will be hoping to stay here next time I am in Kampala. Thanks Ashley!
