Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Kooragang

The Bamboo House is a great place for a family getaway or small group of friends. Very private with a lovely garden, and filtered water views. The lounge room in the morning was beautifully sunny! Anita was very helpful with excellent instructions our stay. Corner shops nearby and a short drive to lakes and beaches.

Booked as accommodation for a friends wedding at Stanley Park. Was a great for a few couples, had a very comfortable, family holiday house feel. Well stocked kitchen and BBQ. A great stay!

Great spot just up the road from the beach. Large TV and couch space for relaxing with group and close walking distance to restaurants and a pub.

Had a fabulous stay, with many hours spent relaxing around the pool and bbq ! A very comfortable well located home with plentiful space for summer fun and entertainment. Proximity to Shoal Bay, numerous beaches and walks provide ample activity for all the family. We hope to be back next year!

We had a lovely stay at Jay and Rod’s property. The location is perfect, such easy access to the best parts of the Nelson Bay/Shoal Bay area. The townhouse is very comfortable and spacious. We really loved the private pool in the community area. We highly recommend this property.

We had the most incredible stay! From the moment we arrived the lush greenery, warm wood accents, and an open-air feel that made me feel like I was on a tropical retreat. The heated pool was an absolute highlight! Whether it was a morning dip or a late-night swim, the water was always the perfect temperature. The outdoor lounge area, complete with cozy seating , made it the perfect spot to unwind. The amenities exceeded expectations— high-speed WiFi, luxurious linens, and even a spa-like outdoor shower. Every little detail was thought out to enhance comfort and relaxation. The hosts were fantastic—responsive, helpful, and they provided great local recommendations. Whether you’re looking for a family getaway or a peaceful solo retreat, this place is a gem. I can’t wait to come back!

We had the most amazing weekend at Donna’s place, Turtles. The apartment was clean, well- equipped, spacious, light and bright. The location was perfect for beach access and lovely panoramic views. Donna was polite and friendly in all interactions, responding quickly and providing detailed instructions. We will most definitely be returning to Turtles at Caves Beach, thanks so much Donna!!

We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the verandah, watching the ocean and beach. It was an easy walk down onto the sand for a swim in the ocean. The beach was patrolled by lifesavers while we were there and the baths was another option. Inside the unit everything was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We really feel like we have had a beach holiday and would certainly return again.

We had an amazing stay at Steve's place! The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect—quiet, yet close to all the local attractions. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the welcome chocolate and local recommendations. The communication with Steve was excellent from start to finish. He was responsive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beautiful studio- like apartment - lovely furniture and balcony and very comfy bed. Bianca was very despair and have great local recommendations! Loved the availability of acar spot in the garage as parking is hard to find around the area!

This Airbnb was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The apartment was surprisingly spacious and despite being in a convenient location, it was wonderfully quiet, ensuring peaceful nights and restful mornings. We loved the calming atmosphere and would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a truly relaxing getaway.

Fantastic stay at Connie’s apartment. There were clear instructions as to entry and car parking and entry to the apartment was via the lift from the basement car park. Everything in the apartment was perfect for us with comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms, and full facilities. Lovely private outdoor area with a relaxed ambiance. Certainly the best Airbnb we have stayed in and worth every penny!

Had a great stay at 'The View'. Park the car and forget about everything. The views from the apartment are fantastic with the beach directly opposite. Some great restaurants all within a 2 minute walk along with the local supermarket and bottleshop. The unit has everything you need including a coffee machine and coffee, tea, salt, pepper, foil etc. A Piccolo of wine and a beer in the fridge upon arrival was much appreciated. The unit is accessed by a lift which we loved. There are great walks along the foreshore and coastal hikes for the more adventurous. We can't wait to return. Mark and Leah are excellent hosts and the personal touches make it a very enjoyable holiday.

Overall, a good place with wonderful views of Broken Bay and the Pacific Ocean, and West St Umina. The place is tucked away in the hills area, so you will need a car or put yourself on the bus which stops outside. The property is located down a steep driveway. Inside it has sunken downstairs bedrooms and above is a well appointed and stocked kitchen and lounge area. The shower is great for couples who like different temperature with its dual nozzle system. Bedding is comfortable. Tip for new stayers, there is a second oil heater behind the wood heater which we discovered on checkout. Paul is a supportive host that offers flexibility.

Perfect place for a weekend stay in Newcastle.. even more so when your dog is made as welcome as you are! Spotlessly clean and surprisingly quiet , quality furnishings and fabulous sheets ! Thank you Keran

What a beautiful elegant place to stay. Lovely proportions and layout inside , it has a wonderful balcony . We loved the amazing views and the lookout at canopy level . The west facing aspect is to die for. Pleasant walk down to the hotel restaurant so easy to get evening meals and breakfast on the resort . Brilliant escape for a short or long stay in the Hunter valley . Sad to leave , can’t wait to be back
