Beautiful home. The square footage may seem small, but it makes great use of the space. Only 5 minutes from the town and right on the lake. Clare was extremely helpful and responsive even over a holiday weekend.

this was a repeat stay for us. we have stayed several places on the barbee chain and this is a nice one. you wont be disappointed. we had 2 kids and 3 adults and theres plenty of elbow room. lots of nice ameneties like an awesome arcade and foos ball table. 90s kids rejoice for nba jam, and other childhood classics.

It was a great little getaway place for my husband and I. It was smaller than expected, but still worked out perfectly for the 2 of us. The hot tub was great! Kitchen is well stocked, and the place was very clean!

My stay at Colin & Kathleen’s place was absolutely wonderful! The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring I had everything I needed throughout my stay. The location was also perfect, away from everything. I highly recommend staying here and would gladly return in the future!

We stayed here for a romantic Valentine’s Day weekend and would highly recommend - there’s something nice about knowing the owners are close by if we needed anything but still feeling a complete sense of privacy. Melody responds immediately, and it’s such a magical piece of property. Also you’re set far back but right off a main road so super convenient. Would def recommend The Vine restaurant in Elkhart too!

I come to this Peru pretty often I have family and friends that live in Peru. I will definitely stay again. The cottage was decorated very cute and it was very clean.

Very nice place right on Blue Lake. Perfect location for what we were looking for…bet it is even nicer in the summer as we really couldn’t enjoy the lake this time of year. Sara was very responsive and flexible. House was very clean and included a lot of little touches that were very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

It's a beautiful location with the lake right out the front door. The place could use some updating, especially the mattresses and bathrooms, but it was definitely what we expected for a charming little lake house! We had a wonderful time, and you can tell Karen and her family love their home. Lots of things to do, right by a grocery store, and plenty of room for a comfortable stay. We'll be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Don's cottage. Plenty of space for four people, and the kitchen had much of what we needed. The area was quiet and easy to get to, both from the road and the lake, via the channel. We brought our own boat. I would recommend renting Don's if you don't have one. Don was very responsive leading up to and during our stay. We would defintiely come back.

I enjoyed my stay at the lakefront cottage and the beautiful view of the lake. The home was very clean and the furnishings were very comfortable. My small dog enjoyed fenced backyard and always wanted to go back outside.

This place is the ultimate get away from everything location! It is remote and quiet. The perfect place to go and just read a book or even take some of your crafts to work on. It is beautiful and quiet. I also love that we were able to bring our dog. My husband and I just went through a catastrophic event and we needed to get away for a few days. This is exactly what we needed. This place felt familiar and like home from the moment we arrived. We will be staying again in the future.

Second year in a row for our family has stayed at Nicholas R's. It has worked out perfectly for us both times!

Loved it there! Granted it’s beautiful lake house we stayed for Christmas’s wanted to do something different while visiting family for the Holiday.

Very clean and accessible to shops and restaurants. We had a great weekend with our granddaughter who goes to Grace College.

This listing surpassed my expectations. I knew that I was headed to small town Indiana, but this place made it seem as if we were at a special getaway. There were so many extra amenities like canoes and kayaks and high chairs for kids. As someone traveling with a toddler, their attention to kid-friendly details was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend staying here!

I was at Grace College for a conference all week and thought thought this would be a neat place to stay instead of hotel. It was perfect. Quiet, peaceful, super clean. Appreciated the extra touches, like the snacks and drinks. Beautiful view of the lake. My only regret is that most days I had to leave while ot was still dark and didn't get home until it was dark...wish I had been able to enjoy it more! I invited my mom along, and she had the best vacation of her life, chilling at the Airbnb while I did my thing. 10/10 recommend. :)

Terri’s home is beautiful and clean. Bed is comfy and the extra throw blankets are a plus. Kitchen is well stocked.

This was such a nice cozy little getaway, it was perfect for my girlfriend and I. we absolutely loved how comfortable everything was ans the decorative touch was on point. Even in the winter time the place was absolutely gorgeous we had a great time building a snowman on the deck. Will certainly be coming back!

What a blessing it was to find this home for the weekend! ❤️🙏 Kara was the perfect host. She has put so many extra touches in the home to make sure you have everything you need for your stay. The coffee/tea bar was an awesome sight and was stocked to the brim with everything you could think of and more. The house is beautifully decorated and absolutely SPOTLESS. The beds had awesome bedding and pillows and were very comfortable. Even the bathroom towels were thick and good quality (these kind of details go far in my book 😁). We were in town for a weekend wedding so we didn't get to explore the town much but what we did get to see was beautiful! I hope to get back there again and stay longer. Beautiful lake view, immaculate living conditions, cozy beds and indoor seating layout, as well as a perfect fire pit setup made for a wonderful spot for my mom, sister and I to celebrate a milestone birthday. We appreciated the view while we sipped coffee in the morning and Aaron responded immediately when we needed a password to access the television on our last night. An easy 10 minute drive to the quaint village area for shopping and dining, I would definitely recommend this beautiful cottage to others looking to spend time on the lake.
