Cottage holiday rentals in Lac Blue Sea

Spent 4 nights at the cottage with a family of 5. Harsh was very responsive to all communication prior/during/post stay. The cottage was well located for those seeking peace and quiet. Hot tub worked well. The cottage was well supplied, we did not lack anything. A nice surprise bottle of wine was offered and appreciated. Internet connection was fast, electric and wood fireplaces add a nice ambiance and warmth to the cottage. Overall, great stay for a family of 5, would fit 6 maximum. Highly recommend for those travelling to the area for some R&R and/or small family getaway in nature.

Great chalet. Really well laid out, nice property, pretty lake and area, everything exactly as described.. Hosts were very communicative and accommodating (I had to pop back in after check-out because I forgot something). Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time soaking in the hot tub and taking the spectacular scenery. The place was spotless, had everything we needed, and the views from the living room, deck, and fire pit were so beautiful we didn’t want to leave. My group of ladies have stayed in a number of wonderful places and this was our favourite so far.

Our family enjoyed cross country skiing in the Gatineau Park and snowshoeing at Nakkertok Park followed by hot tub and relaxing in the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of this place. The comfy sectional couches for cozy reading times were also a highlight! I think we'll be back here again!

We had a great weekend! The game room was incredible—we could have spent the entire time there. The place was clean, well-maintained, and the instructions were clear, making everything easy to navigate. The host was friendly and quick to respond, which made our stay even better. We’re already thinking about coming back in the summer to enjoy the kayaking and soak in the beautiful views. Highly recommend this place for a fun and relaxing getaway!

It’s a nice and cozy lakefront cabin. Great for a couples getaway or a small family. Private & peaceful. Since we visited during the winter we couldn’t use most outdoor amenities due to a snowstorm but there were plenty of indoor activities including games, books, TV and music available for us. Ashley was very responsive and helpful with providing timely communication & instructions to arrive at the property and was flexible with checking in and out times as well. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would love to visit again in summer.

This place was beautiful! We had 10 friends with us to celebrate the new year and we were all very comfortable. The hot tub and sauna were amazing. One thing is that the pots and the pans almost all had very scratched teflon, so we didn’t have great peace of mind cooking using those so I would bring your own pots and pans. Besides that, it was beautiful :)

We had an amazing stay at Summer and Tricia’s place. It was exactly what we needed. It was cozy and relaxing and so close to mont ste Marie for skiing. Our dog loved walking on the trails nearby and we saw so many deer! Highly recommend and we are hoping to come back again.

The best Airbnb experience I've ever had at this beautiful cottage! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Tiffany and Alex put so much thought into making this a perfect stay. The cottage was immaculately clean, incredibly organized, and stocked with everything you could possibly need—down to the smallest detail. The property itself is stunning, offering both peace and beauty in every direction. Tiffany and Alex were amazing hosts—extremely communicative and always ready to assist with anything. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning!

This place was awesome! It was a lake-side cottage, and even in winter, it kept us entertained with games, foosball, and TVs. The two kitchens and two living rooms made it perfect for big groups. The cozy wood accents and fully equipped kitchen made it feel like home. Overall, this cottage was the perfect place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cozy home on this river for Christmas. With my in-laws now living in the retirement manor minutes away in Campbell’s Bay, this was a great place to be together and share meals for the holidays. The kitchen was clean & well-equipped and the living & dining rooms were comfortable. We appreciated that the wood pile was well-stocked and the fireplace kept the living room cozy (it was -18 outside the first 2 days there!) The bedrooms were good too. We really enjoyed how peaceful the views of the river were - especially golden hour before sunset! Thank you Josh & Lee for the great stay. We recommend this cottage and hope to return one day!

The house was just perfect for our family. We are a family of 4 and travelled to Ottawa to meet my sister in law and mother in law- but needed a space to be able to spend the weekend all together. Monica's place is quite large and has so many unique areas to hang out, that anyone wanting a quiet space could have it. In the summer it would have been even more amazing with all the beautiful decks on the house. The beds were all comfortable and bedrooms were tastefully decorated. The kitchen was large and generally had most supplies. It was a cold weekend with a lot of snow- Monica took care of regular snow cleaning and the house/every room was very comfortable and warm. Monica was very kind and responsive to questions. We would love to stay here again.

There are only a few places on Airbnb that I would return to happily, and this is one. This spot really stood out! The large kitchen/living/dining are was awesome to spend our time in, we had lots of space to hang out. The kitchen had most of the stuff you would need, kitchen towels, decent dishes and kitchen tools/utensils (unusual on this platform!), dishwasher. The beds were comfy, the sheets were nice. There were four private bedrooms - on is off the main space but the other three are upstairs and quiet. Unfortunately we had crappy winter weather, but it would have been amazing to skate on the lake or go for a cross-country ski nearby. We would like to return to this place - it felt comfortable and relaxing, and had what we needed! We saw a flock of about twenty wild turkeys in the neighbourhood, and heard a raven nearby. We rung in the new year by the campfire. Thank you Sébastien!

A great host, a gorgeous peaceful setting. Very private, well equipped. The view from the hot tub looks over the beautiful fire pit and lake. We were 4 adult ladies, who enjoyed the open concept kitchen/living/dinning, surrounded by beautiful snowy trees and a comfy fire. We played games and did crafts at the big table, used the well equipped kitchen for meals, lounged and read on the comfy furniture and gazed at the fire place. The driveway was plowed before we got there, and on our way out. Very helpful as it was an epic snow fall. We went for walks on the quiet road, saw one snowmobile and no one else. Comfy beds, and very clean! Highly recommend!

We have stayed here several times and will keep coming back each and every year. This cabin is stunning and so peaceful, the ideal getaway from the city. Catherine and John are wonderful and respond quickly to any concerns and questions. 10/10!!

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved Laura’s cabin and plan to return in the summer. It is a picturesque location that gives full on Canadian-cottage vibes. The space was clean, cozy, and welcoming. 10/10 reccomend!! Laura is also extremely kind and responsive which we really appreciated! Definitely make sure you have 4 wheel drive if you come in the winter though ❤️😉

We rented this home for a winter weekend retreat for 5 women. The space was so well prepared for us. The wood fireplace was ready and just needed to be lit. The views were spectacular. It was so peaceful. We lacked nothing and left feeling rested and recharged.

This little paradise was super cozy. No neighbours, private road. Im looking into booking the same place sometime in the summer.
