Hiking trails/ski trails starting right at the cabin door. The area is a perfect starting point for trips all year; family trips, fishing, historical route Kongevegen and mountain hiking up to 2000moh, e.g. Bleia and Suletinden. 25 min drive to Tyin crossing where there are shops and ski lifts.

Large cabin on Filefjell with a view and a lot of sun!

Lærdal Red Cross rents out our great cabin in the middle of Filefjell, at the county border/municipal boundary between Vang/Lærdal and Sogn and Fjordane/Oppland. The cabin is nicely located on top of a height, so the view of Filefjell is amazing! The patio in the cabin is very sunny, and the sun is there all year, from morning to night. The cabin has gravel road all the way up to the cabin, and parking space for 2-3 cars. In winter there is a large shared parking space about 250 meters from the cabin. Lots of beds!

Lovely little house with its own wood fired backstove.

The "Firehouse" was built in 2004 with all the modern qualities. There are heating cables on the floor, private terrace, a great wood-fired back oven and a growing area just outside. The house includes a bedroom and loft. Just outside the door you will find popular hiking and cycling trails. 6 min drive to Sogndal center, 4 min away is Kaupanger center with grocery and ViteMeir center, nice for big and small! 2 min away you will find pool, playground and fitness center.

An amazing starting point for foot and top hikes in Jotunheimen, Kongevegen, Sverrestigen, Aurlandsdalen, Flåm, Vettisfossen etc. Laundry NOK 500,- if you wish.

The property is located in a beautiful place in Lærdal, at the end of the UNESCO World Heritage List of the Sognefjord. The holiday home is peacefully situated as part of a farm. There are two bedrooms in the residence, a bedroom with a nice view in annex and also a sofabed in living room. The holiday home has a large garden and together with the annex it is a cozy place. We prefer to use the bedroom in the annex from April-September.
