Family-friendly holiday rentals in Lagoa

This is a truly brilliant place to stay. My husband and I stayed here with 5 other friends (x2 couples and x1 single), which worked well with the rooms. There was one spare room, but this is clearly for little children as it has a child sized bathroom (very cute tiny sink and toilet). The villa is large, clean and has all the equipment you'll need. It has stunning views out to the sea and a pool which isn't overlooked. The pool isnt very deep (I'm 5ft 4in and could walk across it without my head going under the water), but it is a good size and has ample room for sunbathing/lounging poolside. The villa is in a lovely, safe neighbourhood. You are an easy walk to shops, bars and restaurants, as well as an easy drive to a lot of other towns. The drive from Faro Airport was very straightforward and we had no trouble finding the villa. The owners gave helpful and timely information prior to arriving and it was a pleasure to deal with them. I highly recommend this villa and will certainly go back there in the future.

The house is lovelly for a good vacations

This is THE BEST AirBnB we have ever stayed at! A beautiful property with everything our family needed for our week's stay. The garden and pools are amazing. Completely spotless and very private. We used the BBQ several times and sat on the terrace with views of the sea, watching the sun set. Inside, the house very comfortable, with lovely open plan living space. The beds are super comfy, and so many bathrooms and sinks to choose from! The beach is a 15/20 minute walk away, with a lovely restaurant. The famous Seven Hanging Valleys path along the cliff tops is virtually on the doorstep, with magnificent views down the coastline, and into the coves and caves. Uber taxis are perfect for getting around. Really reliable and very reasonably priced. We spent days visiting the beach, going into Carvoeiro and a real highlight for the children was visiting Zoomarine for 2 days. Absolutely brilliant! Thank you Ursula for a wonderful stay. We will definitely love to come again!

Beautiful and spacious apartment with a nice view over the dunes and sea at Ferragudo. Apartment is in a suburb of Ferragudo and on a hill, Vila Gaivota Phase 2. Within walking distance of a beautiful stand, Praia dos Caneiros. To walk to Ferragudo with you half an hour walk through a rolling dune landscape and via rocky dune paths. Apartment has a beautiful and modern beach/sea decor and is spacious in design and equipped with everything. Everything for a nice stay. To do your shopping, you can go to Ferragudo itself, at the local entrepreneurs, or drive towards the Lidl and Continente further towards Portimao.

We loved the location to have everything at our doorstep. Enjoyed being able to walk to the market coffee shops. Took in the seven hanging jokes and algar seco is at your doorstep. Was nice to relax by the pool on day 1 to get over our jet lag

Our stay was wonderful, the townhouse is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot, yet so close to town! The hot tub was great in the evenings. It was super clean and has beautiful Portuguese charm. The space is large and private, it is nice to park your car right at the door to bring luggage in. Communication and recommendations were good. We would definitely stay again when in the beautiful Algarve! Thanks, Mia

We had a good time with a large group in the house. The pool was awesome and with the heating very warm, so that it was nice to swim there in the beginning of April, the Whirlpool was also a highlight. However, the furniture was quite used, some of the kitchen gear not so good anymore (there was no single sharp knife in the whole house), I think that should be better for the price.

This is a great place to stay, the apartment is lovely. You can walk into Ferragudo with lovely restaurants cafes and beaches. Parking is easy . Friendly neighbourhood. Great

Great apartment I felt like I was in my house since I had everything I needed, it has all the appliances we need in our daily lives. Outdoor Space Well Treated and Careful,. Location is perfect, we were able to go anywhere dr car to 10 minutes from the Zona beach very calm and quiet perfect to rest. Just get in and accommodate.

I have been so lucky to be able to stay at this property that I do not know how to start my review!!!! The communication was fast, helpful and friendly. The property is beyond words.......it is amazing. The photos do not do it justice as it is just spectacular and it took my breath away. It is a relaxing and peaceful home that offers everything you could want and more. We were met on arrival and the whole place took my breath away. The home is clean, well looked after and obviously loved and has everything you need plus extra special touches. The gardens are beautiful and perfectly kept. The swimming pool is clean and a wonderful place to relax. The BBQ areas are well kept and thought out and so lovely to be around in the evenings. We had the whole property and my words to describe that are WOW! There were 3 of us and a dog. It is perfect for pets. Thank you for making our family holiday so perfect.

we were a family of 13 we stayed on the first floor plenty of room for everybody ...clean and nice pool cleaned everyday nice barbeque space we had a a really great time thanks Alexandra and the couple who work there cleaning the surrounding and showing us around the house...thank you guys you were great wish you all the best and maybe one day we will meet again ...yes I recommend the place and is also quiet and private obrigado

7 of us had a great stay at this villa. Leonel was very responsive and helpful. We were allowed to check in earlier than stated. We had a small issue with the keys and he organised the maid to come straight away. Couch is amazingly comfortable. Loved the balcony on the main bedroom. The area is pretty and the local bakery in the town is amazing!

It is a very spacious house, with renovated areas, clean and very nice garden. Very comfortable sofa and spectacular kitchen. It has everything, even air fryer! I would repeat without hesitation.

The apartment has an unbeatable location, in the best area of Carvoeiro. It was clean and had everything you could need. We will definitely repeat if we return to Carvoeiro. We loved it!

We had a great stay at Maria’s apartment. The pools and the access to the beach are fantastic! The apartment looks like the picture and the terrasse is really great to enjoy outside meals. Thank you for a great time!

We had a wonderful stay at Nina’s apartment. We felt very at home and comfortable as Nina had thought of everything a guest would need during their stay. It was spotlessly clean and Nina was prompt with her communications. The pool was a real highlight to our stay. It was very clean with sun loungers to relax and sunbathe around it. Nina made some great recommendations for places to eat and we especially enjoyed the Pashmina Restaurant (only a short walk from the apartment). It was such a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings. Thank you Nina we hope to return in the future.

The stay at Perrine's apartment was beautiful and we felt very comfortable here. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, great also that there is a washing machine. The bed is very cozy, the roof terrace magnificent. The heaters are also very effective in the winter time, we always had it pleasantly warm .... We will definitely be back!

Lovely house for a temporary "home". It doesn't feel like a vacation home but like a ‘vacation home’. Spacious, with all comforts and a great view. Lots of attention to detail.

We were a group of 10 people and had a wonderful time at Sam's villa The facilities were perfect, everything was clean and looked like the pictures. Sam was a perfect hostess who was always helpful and available. The villa is in a quiet area, but you are within 10-15 minutes by car to the lively places. We would definitely come back again!

We stayed with our daughter and young grandsons. Communication from booking and during our stay were excellent. Claire and Robin are very friendly and great hosts. The house is in a good location,very spacious and clean,as was the pool and outside areas. The ocean view from the balcony is stunning. We enjoyed a fantastic family holiday and hope to return again soon.

Had the best stay at this place! Ricardo was super helpful and responsive and his place was PERFECT. Super cute and in a really beautiful neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Algarve!

Fantastic location! We hired a car which was great to get from the airport & to go to the supermarket but other than that we enjoyed the walks to nearby beaches along the cliff paths & used local Ubers the evenings we ventured out to nearby restaurants. Really lovely apt in a great location suited us & our 9 year old though the pool was cold when she insisted we went in! but to be expected as it is November! 😆 Pedro very helpful & his housekeeper Claudia 👍 We will definitely visit again !

Cristina's home was wonderful! We were looking for a place in the Al Garve to spend a week with our daughter & her fam, and this listing met our needs perfectly. Cristina was even able to accomodate a change in dates for us. This home is super clean, well equipped, & super spacious. Cristina's house is very kid friendly--Just what we were looking for. The two washing machines & well outfitted kitchen really met our needs--We washed a boatload of clothes & ate several meals there. There are several great restaurants nearby for take out easily within walking distance, and the neighborhood is quiet & safe. We used the pool everyday & it was well maintained, sparkling clean, & even had some pool toys. It was nice to have the option of having it heated since the temperatures were in the 60's. Due to an electrical storm that had come through, we had some minor problems with the microwave & stove, but once we were communicated this, they were taken care of quickly. We would definitely return.
