House as atypical as it is welcoming, Sally and her team do everything to make you feel at home. Special mention for the shared breakfast with all the guests which is a real moment of sharing and exchange. A real change of scenery within this very calm and authentic house.

Natercia is helpful and friendly and her breakfasts delicious. The room was pleasant, the bed comfortable and the garden and communal areas pretty and well maintained. The location is quiet and the views from the rooms beautiful.

The nicest air bnb we have stayed at. Incredibly clean, very smartly decorated, rooms were spacious and host was excellent. Very highly recommend.

Casa Grande was one of the highlights of our entire vacation in Portugal! I loved having breakfast with the other guests and learning the rich history of the house!

Casa Grande in Burgau is a great place if you, like our family, prefer to stay off the beaten path and make the place your own. Sally, our hostess, was most hospitable and forthcoming, and let us use the kitchen amenities, and helped us book tables at nearby restaurants and advise us what to see in the Burgau vicinity. The beautiful Burgau beach is five minutes walk away. A café with a small supermarket is two minutes away. We stayed in the blue room suite. It has its imperfections but also lots of character and a tangible sense of history. The building itself is a large, old house. The adjacent gardens are large, but are currently in need of extensive cleanup. The whole house is a sleeping beauty. We felt like at home and have very fond memories of our stay in Casa Grande.

Josep and Carla are truly amazing! They have such a positive vibe and so super kind! They were always there when we needed something, but at the same time we felt we had a lot of privacy all the time. And the breakfasts we got were incredibly good! The property is very clean and has stunning views over the ocean (the sunsets from the rooftop terrace are truly magical). The location is also perfect; right in front of the beautiful boardwalk that leads to super nice little beaches. Restaurants and shops are all walking distance, but it is very quiet at night. A place where you can really relax! We would definitely stay there again! Thanks so much Josep and Carla!

A really good stay! Only a 10/15 minute walk from the main center and the beaches! Simao gives amazing suggestions upon check-in as well.

Great place to stay with a very friendly and communicative host, Anna. It is a mini hotel with a very well equipped kitchen and minibar, lovely garden and swimming pool. Room and bathroom are luxurious and well equipped. To my surprise a lovely breakfast buffet included. A charming place to stay. Highly recommended.

Salsalito is an oasis of calm and peace. There was everything we wished for in a place to stay and more. Sally Anne is warm and kind with a fun sense of humour and very helpful. The breakfasts were just perfect, the most pleasant way to start the day. We loved the garden and pool area, so private and serene. And at the end of the day a clean, cool and comfortable bed which was made every day and clean towels provided. Impeccable. Dreaming of planning my next trip to Sally Anne's already.

The Ocean Spirits Lodge is a lovely place with great vibes, a beautiful outside area, it’s walking distance to the beach and the center of the little town (with cute restaurants and bars!). Thanks for having us!

This place has everything you need; the bed was very comfortable, the room had good AC, and we were able to do some laundry during our stay. Simao also provided a breakfast and some snacks, and had some great recommendations for nearby restaurants.

We never met Jose, but the check-in went smoothly, the place was topclean and the breakfast had high standard and all thanks to Anna who was made it.

Can't recommend this little piece of paradise enough! Such a beautiful, peaceful, secluded spot but very near lovely Burgau. Sally was a gracious host who had great suggestions for day trips and places to eat. Breakfast on the patio was perfect and we wanted for nothing. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you Sally!

We were lucky enough to have a wonderful time at Birds of Paradise. Vanessa and D**k were absolutely outstanding hosts and made our stay memorable with their kind and tips. The house itself was simply stunning. The house is lovingly and stylishly decorated and the outdoor area with pool is unique. The villa is very clean and is insanely well appointed. Breakfast is prepared with a lot of love and offers everything you want. The location of the house was also ideal. Nearby there were beautiful beaches where we did a fantastic surf class. D**k was kind enough to make us contact with the surf school. All in all, I would highly recommend this place. If you want to spend an unforgettable holiday near Arrifana Beach, this is the place for you! We just regret that we didn't stay longer! We will be back!!

We stayed 3 nights at Javiera and Victor's place and were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was offered every morning and there were nice conversations with other guests and the hosts. We often had the pool for exclusive use. The place is on the edge of a settlement. You can walk a bit to the center of Lagos or drive by car. A few restaurants are within walking distance in the evening. Otherwise, we recommend a car for this. In Lagos you will find diverse and great restaurants. The advantage of the accommodation is that you are not in the center and yet reach the center in a few minutes by car. The beach is a 10-minute walk away. Beautiful sandy beach, little seaweed and waves. We would come back. We thank you for the lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Nelly’s bed and breakfast. Never have we slept in a wind mill before, is was beautiful! Great host, very welcoming, we felt right at home. Breakfast in the morning was perfect! We are sad we only stayed one night, would definitely come here again!

Beautiful location, the views on the surrounding land are great. The rooms are nicely designed, clean and well equipped. The common areas are super functional. Highly recommend the place.

Great stay at Craig's place. Comfortable, clean and relaxing environment. The neighborhood is nice and quiet if you're looking to get away from the noise. Craig was very responsive and our room was ready early so we could check in a little earlier which was great.

We love Jaroslav & Pavla's place so much - this was our second September stay in a row, and we're already planning for next year :) Their accommodation is super-clean, safe and comfortable, while the location offers a great base to explore Lagos from. Praia de Porto de Mós and Praia Dona Ana are both close by. It's also only a short walk into the town centre itself. It honestly feels like our Portuguese 'home away from home' at this point!

Everything was wonderful - the views above and over the valley are stunning and the landscaping with flowers, the beautiful pool (a little cold just yet, but looking forward to sitting in the warmth of warmer days), the interior was so nicely and warmly arranged. Maggie was amazing, she was kind and so welcoming and warm - spoiled us regularly and made an incredible breakfast. Our room was very cute and had a nice little patio space. We will definitely be back - loved walking out the door onto hiking routes. perfect spot and wonderful host. we will be back!
