Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lake Almanor

Cozy cottage in a great location. I would recommend it to friends and family. John communication was great and flexible with us.

Dorinda's home was beautiful, very roomy, and the game room was a hit. Dorinda was a wonderful host! Very responsive and helpful. The view is amazing, can't beat waking up to look out the door or window and see the beautiful trees and the lake. We went there to play in the snow and even though there was not much snow near the home, Dorinda recommended Mt. Lassen Park (about 50 min. from home), we went there and had an amazing time. Beautiful white powder and plenty of room for our family to play in the snow and do some sledding. We would strongly recommend Dorinda's home. We are planning on renting it for a summer as well.

The location was peaceful, with beautiful views and easy access to the lake. The hosts were responsive and thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed. We had a relaxing time at Casey’s place. Quiet neighborhood, cozy home and nice host. Love the creek that runs through the back…you can hear the water running from the house. Would come back.

We rented the house from Christmas through New Years Eve. It was nicely decorated for the festive season. It was a nice touch what we really appreciated. The kitchen was very well equipped and spacious, just like the dining and living room. We had great game and movie nights. Beautiful view. Quiet. The lake is about 30-40 minutes walk. Plenty of snow what we enjoyed a lot. Good day trip locations nearby. The host is really caring, accommodating, and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to return in the future.

This home is far better than the pictures depicted. I would definitely visit this home again, we had a group of 6 but it was extremely comfortable and within walking distance to the park. The lake access is much easier than prior reviews had stated and the location is very private in the winter time with exceptional sunsets and we can’t say enough good things about the place.

We had a teacher's professional development retreat and it was perfect! We had the attendees stay here and the speakers visited each day. It worked perfectly for the vibe of our retreat while providing plenty of amenities. We had a few issues with some HOA reports but she was very kind and we worked together to fix it. We would definitely return.

Jason and Jenna are definitely in the top 10% of host. The bunkhouse was exactly what we were looking for and everything was exactly as advertised or even better! Very very pet friendly and just great all around people. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Our family including grandparents thoroughly enjoyed making memories in this cozy, welcoming, and lovely cabin home away from home. Everything was clean and comfortable and modern, yet with the feel of cabin by the lake (and snow for us). Clear directions, great communication, comfortable beds all around, incredible views, open design so we were all together, fantastic kitchen, and so much more. We would definitely stay here again! This was our second year we have rented this place for our family's annual lake trip. We loved it! The upgraded air conditioner in the living room and the ceiling fans in each bedroom definitely made it a very comfortable experience. You also can't beat the private dock and beach area. We will be booking this place again for next year. We love the privacy of this home too. Very grateful for the quick responses from the host too when we had any minor questions. Definitely can't wait for our trip next year!

Melissa is great to deal with. I would make sure that people realize getting down to dock is a very steep hill. Older home , but very clean and supplied well with everything you would need !
