Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lake County

The home is as described and photos are an accurate depiction. Very quiet and peaceful. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Rhonda came down to meet with us upon check-in; it's a large property with several homes owned by the family, but plenty of room still for privacy. Chip had the wood in the fire pit ready to go the night we checked in. On the second night he saw us outside adding fire wood and popped down to help get it going for us. The fire pit was definitely a highlight for us and was enjoyed by the group. We will most likely be back as a group for our annual weekend and all three of us thought of other friends/family we could bring there too.

We just enjoyed our second stay at this lake house. The backyard can’t be beat! It is the perfect combination of beauty and fun! We enjoyed the oak trees and lake view while the kids had a blast on the playground and zip line! There are three springs within 15-20 minutes away which we loved. Ocala is about 30 minutes but worth the drive for the Bank Street Patio Bar and The District Bar & Kitchen!! The house was super clean and comfortable. No personal touches like some airbnbs, but board games and puzzles were much appreciated! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone!

Lovely lakefront home with amazing views. A comfortable house with an awesome patio and lots of space to hang out. Ofir is responsible and always ready to help. Thank you for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Great place, a little off the beaten path but that’s what we were looking for. Had everything we needed and then some . Will plan on returning in the future

One of the best places I have ever stayed at with Airbnb over the years. Vicki and Susie were fantastic hosts. Easy check in and felt right at home as soon as you walk in. Home is spacious and everything you need is right there. Step daughter was fishing every day after sight seeing for the day and loved fishing off the dock. My family kept saying how great it was relaxing at the home. Was nice having full kitchen, washer/dryer and outdoor recreation items to use. Vicki has her Airbnb dialed in, I was amazed how everything was spot on for comfort and made for a fantastic stay. This place is what a vacation home should be like. Bonus was peach bread freshly made upon arrival which we all thought was delicious.

Shery's home was absolutely wonderful. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable and cozy. Shery had thought of everything! Great communication. The lake is so peaceful and such a dream to sit out and enjoy. We kayaked around the lake every day at sunrise and sunset. Neighborhood very quiet. Everything worked perfectly and we were sad to leave. Thanks so much.

We are returning guests. The rate was higher due to the new pool they installed. The pool is great. They were having issues with the pool controller but they worked hard to make the heat work and communicate with us. Some extra directions regarding the pool controls would be great. The place is peaceful and clean. Both my sister and daughter commented on the towels having a funky smell to them. The house is a great place to stay. We hope to be back soon.

Alisha's place was perfect! We only got to stay one night but it was just what we needed after a long day. The house is clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed and Alisha was a great host! We definitely recommend staying at Alisha's place.

Quaint little place as a midway stop for us. We were delayed by several hours due to traffic and our gps took us to the wrong spot at first. We finally arrived at almost midnight and everything was ready and Bernadette answered a question for us. The accommodations were great, it had everything we needed and was very clean. Right on the water and a lovely little dock. It was a little chilly and we only had a short stop so we didn’t get to enjoy the back porch but it looked great. There’s a great little stand down the road with boiled peanuts and they were delicious. The neighborhood is very quiet and everyone was very friendly. We had dinner at Gator Bay almost next door and the food was delicious, everyone was very friendly and a great atmosphere. Bernadette was a great host, she even came over and played with our dogs. We would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect place for my girlfriend and I to stay to explore Mount Dora. It’s a very short walk (under 15 mins) to downtown. Open floor plan, stocked with amenities (towels ) and comfortable rooms. We hope to stay here again for future visits ! It’s wonderful!!

This place was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the kayaks and the firepit the most! Nicole really thought of everything! If you're thinking I wish I had _____ it almost just appears. We absolutely loved this place and would definitely come again!

Very cozy little cottage near the lake with a beach and a dock. Beautiful surroundings!

We really enjoyed our stay. This was a visit to enjoy a belated Christmas celebration with our daughter and her family. Nancy provided extensive communication, and offered ideas about activities and restaurants to visit. The outdoor amenities were wonderful. We visited when it was too cold for enjoying the swimming beach, but we did have a fire in the beachfront firepit. The dock was a favorite place to enjoy the sunshine, to watch the sandhill cranes nesting, and to feed the fish. Our birdwatcher daughter particularly loved sitting on the back deck and feeding the birds and squirrels. We also made use of the lakeside picnic table and our teenage granddaughters even tried out the swings. We love cooking together, and were able to find pretty much everything we needed to create delicious meals. We also played games at the large dining table. The space was comfortable, and suited our needs for a family get-together.

Felt very homey , definitely a change of scenery love that the cows were out said good morning. It was overall a great experience.

Beautiful sanctuary in a quiet location. Loved being lakeside with a dock for sitting and fishing. Full amenities onsite and attentive host. Highly recommended location for a special occasion or weekend of solitude.

Amazing little gem of a place. I was in town with my son for a Highschool fishing tournament and this place was exactly what we needed. Very clean. Host was so helpful and responsive. I will stay again next time I am in town.
