Everything is great, all kinds of facilities and consumables are very complete, the living experience is very good, there are many restaurants and a Family Mart convenience store within a two-kilometer walk, very convenient

We loved our stay here! When we come again to Kawaguchiko, we would like to come to this house again. the host was friendly and helpful, everything was simple and easy to find and figure out, and it was nice and close to the station. It was beautiful and clean and I highly recommend.

It was a retro atmosphere like an old house and a Showa-like accommodation.

The host was friendly and accommodating during my stay. It was used by three families. The futons were also set in advance, so I was able to lay them out right away, and I was happy with the many toys for children. The table and chairs for BBQing outside were also easy to understand, and we were able to prepare and tidy up smoothly. The building was very clean and I had a comfortable stay.Close to Lake Kawaguchiko, you can take a walk to the lake in the morning, and the location was good. Overall, we had a great stay!Thank you very much.

Check-in was also handled early, and I had a relaxing stay in the best location. The room and amenities were clean and comfortable, and there were dogs and small children, but it was very comfortable. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

Our stay was wonderful. House was spotless, host has impeccable design taste👌. Location was very good, few minutes walk to lakeside, bus stop and supermarket. I have only positive things to say about this house and I would love to stay again. thank you host!:)

spacious apartment with strong heater

It was neat and warm thanks to the heater and kotatsu. Most importantly, you can use the whole spacious house, so it's a great value. 👍👍

This is a great place to stay!When it's sunny, it's amazing to go out on the right-hand side of Mt. Fuji.The house is large, clean and hygienic, and the photos promoted by the host are not different.Especially loved the kitchen here, we made three meals with our own ingredients, from pots and spatula, utensils, to cooking utensils, oven, rice cooker, microwave oven, everything to make us feel like home.The homestay is in a quiet environment without any noise, and the surroundings become quiet at night.But the location is a little far from the estuary, it is recommended to contact the host in advance to pick up and drop off with a shuttle, and we forgot to contact the host in advance to walk over to come by somewhat hard.

Taro's house is really great place. Suitable for large groups. There are two bathrooms and a separate shower room. Very convenient. Worth the price paid. The condition of the house is the same as in the photo. Gives the feeling of being in a truly local Japanese house. The location is very good. It's a short walk from the station. You can walk directly to the lake. Near many restaurants and convenience stores. If possible, I would like to stay here for several days..

I had a very satisfying stay. The pellet stove was warm and easy to operate. We even saw squirrels and deer nearby. There are plates, chopsticks, glasses, and other equipment. Basically, you just need to bring ingredients and drinks. There is a convenience store nearby about 1 km. You can't walk there. I think it is great to spend a relaxing time on the shore of Lake Yamanaka.

Wonderful place. Very cleanse and updated. Even had heaters in the room as very cold. We would stay there again. Only niggle was requesting for a later check out by one hour but we understand it could not be done. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a very comfortable stay. I would love to visit again at that time next year as it seems to be cool and easy to spend in the summer months. The parking lot was the size that Sienta could park.

The house is big, clean and has good view by the lake.

This place was amazing. The water was warm, it was spacious, clean, good beds, and the walls were thick enough that we couldn't hear clutter from other rooms. Would love to stay again!

Perfect place for family and plenty of space, big kitchen, nice living space. Very easy to access.

It's a beautiful Japanese house, modernized with great care. There is a great kitchen that has everything you need (and is spotless), and the highlight is the new Japanese style bathroom, with a giant tub. It's Japanese-style Tatami sleeping on the ground floor, which we loved with our two kids. The first floor has Western-style interiors and bedding - there's no natural way to get it dark, so expect to get up early. There's an absolutely beautiful Shrine nearby, and the lake is walkable. Otherwise, it's a very peaceful and quiet residential neighborhood, away from the crazy tourists around Kawaguchiko station. Be careful to follow driving instructions. If you're not in a Kei-car, Apple Maps, Google Maps, etc. tend to send you down too narrow roads. We will absolutely be back.
