Secluded small farm house nestled in among maple, apple and pine trees. Lots of parking for trailers and guests. Wood burning Sauna on property. Just a short walk down the hill is our Private rock beach On Lake Superior with a fire pit to get cozy and watch the sunset. The main cabin also has a fire pit for your enjoyment. This is a quiet place with whitetail deer being the only thing to come and visit. Occasionally you’ll see bald eagles fly overhead looking for their dinner. Walking trails.

River Retreat, waterfront getaway

This updated clean and cozy cottage is right on a gorgeous stretch of the Escanaba River. Bring a fishing pole, or just sit back and enjoy the sound of the river from the back porch or screened in Gazebo with grill. Relax in the large wood fired sauna with changing room, or have a bon fire right on the water. This stretch of river is great for kayaking,fishing, with steps leading to river edge! Large area for trailers ideal for outdoor sportsman.Outdoor games as well making this ideal for all!

Hillside Resort Cabin 1

Phelps Hillside Resort is proud to offer Cabin 1. The entire resort including the cabins have undergone extensive renovations in the spring of 2022. Our guests will love this spacious 3 bedroom 1.5 bath cabin. Cabin 1 will sleep 8 people and has an additional pull out futon. The cabin has incredible views of the Lac Vieux Desert! Bring a boat or UTV of your own or ask about renting one! Hillside Restaurant is on site and has incredible Friday Fish Fry’s and prime rib Saturdays!

Chocolay River Cabin

Small hand hewn log cabin on Chocolay River. Good fishing, approximately 5 miles from snowmobile and ORV trails. Full kitchen. 1 BR (Q), Full sofa sleeper and 1 bath. Outdoor electric sauna. A fire pit. Washer/dryer. Basic amenities. Full kitchen. There is WiFi but cell service can be very sketchy. Texting does seem to work ok. We do have a cell phone booster there but it still isn’t great. If you need to make a call you can drive about 1 mile out to US 41 and service is good.

Whispering Maples Entire Cabin Tipler, Wisconsin

Whispering Maples is a two bedroom, 1 bath cozy cabin. It is a great place to get away and relax. It's located in the rural town of Tipler, WI. Tipler is in Florence County Wisconsin. Whispering Maples is accessible to the trail system right from the cabin. There are also lakes and hiking trails in the nearby Chaquamegon-Nicolet National Forest for more recreation. There is a fully functional kitchen. There is a grill and firepit available at the cabin.

One bedroom RUSTIC cabin on the Ford River 6 miles west of Escanaba. Nearby attractions include golf, fishing, swimming, canoeing and kayaking. Enjoy the beautiful riverside setting and maybe even some wildlife. Queen bedroom. Full kitchen and bathroom with shower, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, coffee, tea, dishes, toaster and utensils included along with sheets, blankets, towels, pillows, charcoal grill, charcoal, fire pit and firewood.

Hunters Brook Hideaway

Secluded cabin in a beautiful setting immediately adjacent to Hunters Brook Waterfall and the Escanaba River. This is a place for total relaxation and exploration. It offers excellent fly or spin cast fishing in a shale bottom river. Sit by the fire pit and enjoy nature at it’s best. This is a “must experience” type of getaway! There is no WiFi or TV. Cell service is spotty. It’s a great place to unplug.
