Cabin holiday rentals in Lake Minnewaska

Had a lovely and relaxing time in this little sanctuary with the best view of the mountains. Edena provided extremely clear instructions and always replied promptly to any of my questions. The little cabin had everything I needed and the hot tub and view was even better than I had expected. Town was close enough to grab dinner and many hiking options. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a break from city life! Thank you for everything!!!

A really relaxing couple of days in an area that we didn’t know. It’s a beautiful cabin with a lovely hot tub and comfortable beds. Lots of nice places to visit and a friendly general store a short drive away (thanks to Thomas for the info on that). The temperate dropped but the cabin stayed warm even without the main log fire. Clean kitchen and bathrooms, lots of useful things like tea coffee herbs and sauces. Would definitely recommend!

My partner and I enjoyed our little quick much needed getaway. Cabin was quaint and comfortable. Hot tub with a full moon overlooking the river was so peaceful. Lots of wildlife, even a pair of Eagles made an appearance. Nearby hiking during the day and delicious dinner in town at night. Erica was great in sending messages a few days prior with recommendations of where to dine and visit. Much needed escape was worth it!

Sam had the perfect amount of helpfulness while also letting me have the space I needed to decompress. Was a great teacher, and keeps a really beautiful campground.

This was the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect. My husband and I felt completely recharged as we headed back to NYC. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to try out their hiking recommendations—but we’re aiming to next time. Definitely recommend!!

Julie's place was the perfect winter getaway. The fireplace, hot tub and sauna warmed us and the very well-equipped kitchen enabled us to prepare great meals. The house was beautiful, with two living rooms for different activities and energy levels, a game room downstairs, a dining room with a large table and chairs, and comfortable furniture and beds throughout. Julie texted me to make sure that our every need was met. We had a snow and ice storm, and she had the driveway and walkways plowed, shoveled and sanded twice, and kept plenty of salt on-hand. We hope to return sometime in warmer weather so we can enjoy the pond, too.

Absolutely loved our stay at Alex’s place! The home was beautiful, spotless, and had a stunning view of the lake. It was super quiet and private—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The Airbnb was well-stocked with thoughtful touches that made everything feel easy and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Very nice place, if you’re thinking doing a getaway to somewhere peaceful and quiet,celebration or get together this is the place you’re looking for. The Owners are very nice, great communication. Looking for something to hike or fishing, this is also the place you can look for many nearby places. Overall experience is very nice place to stay, very clean, a lot of comfort in the house. Will sure comeback again!

This Airbnb is truly something special. If you're a fan of mid-century modern design, you’ll be in heaven—the aesthetic is gorgeous, and honestly, it feels a bit too nice to be a rental. It's incredibly generous of Jenny to open this space up to others. The backyard is breathtaking—peaceful, private, and serene. I could have spent the entire trip out there, flipping through books with the soothing sound of the creek in the background. The Japanese hot tub was the cherry on top. I loved it far more than a typical hot tub. It requires some effort and planning to get just right, which, for me, made the experience even more rewarding. That said, I can imagine it wouldn’t be for everyone. This place gets my highest recommendation—though I hesitate to say that because I selfishly want it to be available the next time I book. Thank you, Jenny, for sharing your beautiful home.

Anastasia's place was comfortable and quaint, with a wonderful wood-burning stove, a beautiful forest that was a delight to explore, and a whole tree in the middle of the living room! The only downside was its proximity to a fairly high-speed road. With the bedroom windows open, the occasional traffic disrupted what was otherwise a very quiet and peaceful stay.

Beautiful location...nice and quiet. 7 or 8 mins to woodstock. Decorated seemingly professionally. All the appointments (convennces) you could ask for.

Jeff and Sharon were very responsive and provided us with everything we need to have a great time!

The home had everything we needed and more with a wonderful layout for family/friends to gather/cook/hang out. Every room was well stocked from kitchen to bathrooms and even games, activities and accessories in the bedrooms for kids and adults. We only wished the weather was better for us to have enjoyed the outdoors more, but that gives us a good reason to come back!

Ellen’s cabin was great. Super cozy. Had a great time hanging with our golden doodle by the wood stove. The screen/projector upstairs was perfect for movies. We would definitely come back. Followed her recommendations on her site and ate at Julia’s Local one night. Amazing food and not too far. Went to the Red Star Cafe for fancy coffees one afternoon, and ate at the Deer Mountain Inn (recommended by Julia herself of Julia’s Local). Five star dining and a great place to sleep after. Great weekend all around.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet while staying. It was wonderful for star gazing and the fireplace was lovely.

This is our second time visiting this Airbnb and my family and I just love it! We really enjoyed the upgrades to the bathroom and kitchen sink.

To be honest, it was one of the most fascinating experiences of my life. Waking up to see the lake, the peace you feel there is unparalleled. If you want to disconnect from your routine and be in touch with nature, it's the best option. And what can I say if you like fishing? We had a great time at Ashley’s house! Such an idyllic setting for this little well appointed woods cabin. We had everything we needed, and Ashley and her team were very responsive and proactive. The driveway can definitely be a bit treacherous in bad weather but it wasn’t an issue for us. Everything was as described, just what we were looking for - a quick, quiet, easy getaway with woods and privacy, plenty of space for the kiddos to run around and lots of cozy memories made! Well worth the trek north for us.

Had a great time at the cozy cabin. It's a cabin but still has some nice amenities. Location is somewhat close to road, you can hear occasional cars go by. Still, back by the pond it feels like being away from it all. I had a blast hiking local trails and enjoying the foliage.

What a magnificent spot! If nothing else, the creek next to the house was worth the price of admission. But the whole experience was fantastic. We filled the place up, and had a dozen more family members come for Thanksgiving dinner. It was cozy and the extra kitchen in the cabin was a godsend. We loved being there, and everything about our stay was perfect. Thank you!

We loved our stay at Joe & Barb's place! The cabin is delightful; beautiful surrounds, peaceful and quiet while being just a short drive from the amenities of New Paltz. Joe gave us great tips for nearby hikes, and we enjoyed a tour of the veggie garden (with full credit to Barb the gardener!), and hearing about the sustainability/eco-friendly initiatives of the property.
