Cottage holiday rentals in Lake Ontario

Myself and 5 girlfriends had such a fun time at Caitlin’s place for our girls weekend! Not only was Caitlin a great host but her beach house was so cute, in a great location and very clean! Would love to stay here again in the future!

Beautiful and peaceful location. Very easy to find. Excellent record music selection and the PAC man wall game was a blast from the past and loads of fun! The hot tub was very clean and well maintained. Decor has a beachy relaxing vibe. Large windows facing the water. Beach is rocky and you will need water shoes for the warmer months if you're a swimmer. Only thing I'll caution is the living room sectional is low to the ground for us older adults with back/hip issues but fantastic for kids lol. Bedrooms are upstairs. The bed I slept in was very comfortable, lots of hot water for showers, wifi worked, lots of kitchen supplies/cutlery, and there were some Keurig cups there for coffee. I'd recommend bringing more if you're more than a cup a day drinker solo or more people staying. Overall I highly recommend.

A lovely, cozy cottage perfect for a couple’s getaway. Homey decor, very comfortable bed, decent water pressure and a wonderful little kitchen with pans and utensils needed for home cooked meals. We had a wonderful time feeling at home and comfortable here. The host is friendly and responsive and gave very easy and clear instructions for arrival and departure. Would definitely stay here again.

Daniel gave a thorough intro message of specifics the day of on top of what was already so clearly laid out. The property was beautiful with access to so many activity options. House is clean and spacious. We spent a lot of time on the dock which had a great selection of furniture and sun/shade options. The beach is a close walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will likely be back to enjoy the space again!

The coach house is a stunning, peaceful retreat from the every day. Not only does it look like a space straight out of Architectural Digest, but it feels warm and inviting, private and peaceful. (So very insta-worthy in its decor and aesthetic.) Kieran and Tara (and their sweet pups 🐾) were wonderful hosts. Quick to respond and very helpful. The location is perfect as it’s only a few minutes from Cobourg and St. Anne’s spa.

Thank you so much for the perfect getaway stay! Everything was as described and more. Perfect sleeps were had, kitchen was well equipped for all the late night creations, comfy reading spots throughout the home. Comfort levels were absolutely met! We enjoyed it immensely and can't wait to stay again soon.

Jeff’s cottage was welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared. He reached out a few days before our arrival to offer a call, during which he provided detailed information about check-in procedures, parking, local restaurant recommendations, and how to use the home’s amenities. His proactive communication made our trip seamless. The cottage itself was small but very cozy (everything we were looking for), with a backyard that features a BBQ grill, a fire pit, and ambient string lights that create a comfortable evening atmosphere. The town is equally delightful, offering a variety of adorable restaurants and places to explore. As a thoughtful touch, Jeff left us a small welcome gift, making us feel truly appreciated. His hospitality made our stay memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Beautiful property on Lake Simcoe with more than enough room for everyone we absolutely loved our stay and requested to stay longer but unfortunately it was committed to other guests. Great hosts, great communication. This property is the place to stay if you are looking for a spacious, lakefront property with privacy in Innisfil which is very hard to find. Highly recommended!

Elsie has an amazing little cottage nestled with great river views and direct access to the waters. The place was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with all essentials. My only feedback would be to extend the checkout time to 11 am and to have some lights installed near the fire pit.

Brian and Melissa’s place is lovely. Very clean. Furniture and beds extremely comfortable and great location across from the Lake and about 5-7 miles from the cute town of Skaneatles. We were there on a rainy night but did take the short walk across the street to the dock which was beautiful. It’s a nice place even on a cold rainy night with the electric fireplace and comfortable couches! I’m sure it would be a great summer spot too!

Great place! Vicki was very friendly and communicative. The cottage was perfect for what we wanted - a family friendly Thanksgiving. The place has everything you need and we had an excellent experience. We barbecued and made s’mores at the fire pit. I suspect that during summer it’s even more fun given the warm weather amenities. We definitely would love to come back!

I would definitely recommend this oasis of a cottage. So peaceful so clean. Fully stocked with everything we needed. Going on the off season was so serene beautiful cottage and the view was amazing. You definitely have to watch the sunrise.

Lovely space - just like the pictures. A little tricky to find the first time, but its location is part of what makes it so peaceful. The cottage was perfect for our needs and the hot tub was delightful. David answered all our inquiries promptly and even let us check in early when I asked. We had some issues with the internet service, but that was clearly weather-related. And although he was unable to resolve the issue before we checked out, David was very responsive and reached out to the internet company right away and made every effort to get it fixed.

Tammy was the sweetest, most helpful hist to my parents. I booked this place for their 1 year anniversary weekend and they were in love. She left them a cute note and got them a bottle of wine to celebrate. They loved the space so much and felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Tammy thank you SO much for your hospitality and taking such good care of my parents. They will absolutely be back!!

Amazing location with waterfront!

This is a gem find. It was so comfortable and situated 3 minute walk from a beautiful beach. The kitchen was very well equipped the fire pit, the BBQ the outdoor sitting areas were awesome. The beds were comfortable and we slept so well. There is a huge TV with so many channels and content to watch. So easy to settle into a movie after dinner. Very comfortable sitting area. We were 3 adults and we all had space to have some downtime and also to enjoy our company. We would swim and go for 5 km beach walks and drive to very cute small towns and discover the tasty bakeries and cool stores. Everyone we met was so lovely and very relaxed. We had a wonderful time and recommend this pace to everyone. Peaceful, fully equipped, comfortable and 3 minutes from a beautiful beach! What can be better. Thanks Miguel for your clear communications and your helpful suggestions. We had a blast!

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property, has everything you need. We stayed the week of valentines and couldn’t have asked for more. I could only imagine how perfect it would be in the summer with the water sports and many other amenities this property offers. Erika and Adam were kind and responsive and helped us with all our needs!! Definitely would go again.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay during the last week of August! Some of our favourite parts of the place include: the canoes/kayaks that were available to use at our leisure, the check-in process being seamless, the essentials being provided (all kitchen supplies, beach towels, shower supplies), the other amenities (board games, BBQ). The place itself is quite beautiful. The dock with the chairs, the fire pit (even though we did not use) and the solarium were all stunning. I would just mention that it is a bit smaller of a place inside, so did find it a bit cozy and tight in the rooms. Also, the place is supplied with quite a loud window AC so sometimes it would get a bit loud/warm in the place. However, we would still give the place a 5/5 all things considered.
