This house was absolutely stunning from the moment you drove in. I 100% recommended booking your stay here if you would like a peaceful weekend in a beautiful well-maintained home.

This place was so delightful. It was quiet and I loved the window that looks out to the water. The Wifi worked great even though I had no phone service (it was a great excuse for everyone to not bother me on my phone though)! Having the Wisconsin Dells activities near by was a plus. I did end up leaving earlier than expected because I came down with a cold but the Andy was very understanding and helpful. I would love to come back here!

The cabin was beautiful and it was on a large plot of private land. We didn't see anyone else in this rustic get-away. It definitely has a cabin feel to it, which is exactly what we wanted. The pool table was a big hit with my family. Walking to the cave on the property was exciting for us. Make sure you bring shoes that you don't mind getting muddy, as the property is located on a large farm. We loved drinking coffee in the morning outside on the porch with the birds and friendly cat. I would highly recommend this property if you like the outdoorsy, rustic, country living feel.

Great spot! Friendly and attentive host, very cozy cabin. Hot tub was great, will definitely try to visit next time on a weekend that it’s not raining or snowing the whole time though 🙃

This was my second visit and it won’t be the last! I appreciate the beautiful, quiet setting, cozy space, and amenities and that I can bring my dog with me. I enjoyed afternoon campfires and the hot tub on dry days and proximity to town and Sundara Spa. I’ll echo what other guests have mentioned about low water pressure in the shower, but that’s not enough to affect my rating or desire to return. Whisky Wood is one of my happy places.

We booked this for a couples trip while visiting Devils Lake. Though it was a bit of a drive to the park, it was so worth it. The place was exactly as described and very private. The hot tub was amazing after a long hike! I would definitely recommend!

We loved staying here! Came for my sister’s bachelorette and we barely left the airbnb because there was so much to do! Games, fire pits, and the hot tub with the flat screen was our favorite. The surrounding area was peaceful and the house was tidy and clean. We will be returning!

We were in the area for workshops. We were gone quite a bit but it was a very comfortable place to come back to at the end of the day. I would like to go back when I can spend more time at his place and on the lake.

This place was great! Perfect for our family. Even in the winter the kids played on the beach and with the horseshoes and ran all over. It was a spot we for sure want to enjoy in the summer too! Very clean. Everything was as it was explained. Host was very responsive. We can’t wait to come back!

My family of six (2 adults, 2 children 9 & 10 and 2 dogs) just returned home from a week at this beautiful cabin! We were pleasantly surprised with how nice the cabin was and how extremely friendly and welcoming the host is to pets. There were clear instructions listed for check in, stay and check out. All of which were extremely reasonable and very minimal. Our family LOVED exploring the grounds and walking down to the river. We also loved utilizing the indoor fireplace. There were plenty of towels for showering, dish towels and extra blankets. We had brought our own blankets for our dogs, but turns out we didn’t need to! My kids asked during the second day there, if we could come back every year. We all agree that this is definitely a spot we’ll be returning to. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality Jeff!

Just a wonderful 3 day stay during a curling bonspiel in Columbia County. What a beautiful cabin tucked back in a private wooded area with a wealth of wildlife ( deer, turkeys, eagles). Melissa gets all the details right and takes away any worries associated with staying away from home. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for something that feels like home. . Absolutely amazing serene getaway! We loved the sauna each day and even took cold dips in the crystal clear creek out back! Great space, plenty of room for our family and wonderful warm open living space to relax by the fire and cook a meal. 10/10 will be back again.

This house is gorgeous! It is the best one that I have rented on Airbnb. The bathrooms, kitchen, blankets and towels are top notch. It even has great dishes, knives and pots/pans. Corey the host goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a reset in their life.

Black cabin was serene and gorgeous. It was perfect for the 4 of us. We brought two teenage boys who even raved about it. They loved the loft and enjoyed the record player. The owners have great taste in decor! I took pictures for inspiration. The surrounding woods were so serene. We had many deer “visitors”. The outdoor furniture, fire pit and sauna were a great touch. Even though it was a little chilly, we were still able to enjoy all of it. We slept so comfortably. The linens were warm and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. The bathroom shower was great. I could go on and on. We truly enjoyed our short visit and hope to come back for a longer stay next time.
