Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Tahoe

We were in town looking for housing and needed someplace to rest peacefully and keep our gear locked up. We felt safe and at home during our stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

An incredible stay for me and my husband plus our two pups. It’s private and peaceful and was a great space for our pups to run around. Pamela is a great communicator and responsive. The house has majority of the cooking essentials you’ll need. It was a great place to stay!

Lovely home with everything we needed. Lots of sweet touches - handmade soaps, fabulous blankets for cuddling on the couch, convenient firewood, incredible midcentury modern furniture (the couch!!!!), Great Wall art throughout. This place has personality, and you can tell it’s cherished.

A very nice older home in a quiet neighborhood. It was exactly what we needed for our few days in Reno. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog, but just be mindful if there are other tenants in the back units they will be right next to you and therefore no privacy if you’re in the backyard. But I give it a great rating as it served our needs perfectly. The host Jo is extremely responsive and accommodating and we were able to check in early

My friends and I loved staying at Samantha’s place. I’ve stayed at many airbnbs and this one was the best stocked, most accurately described, and had the coziest vibes.

We took the family for a long weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The property offered the perfect balance of privacy and proximity to the lake. Everything was either within walking distance or just a short 5-minute drive away. The home was exceptionally clean, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet—exactly what we were hoping for. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We’d absolutely love to come back. Thanks so much!

By the time we checked into the Airbnb it was dark outside which made it a little harder to find the location. The Airbnb is in a quiet and clean part of Reno, with dining close by.

Loved the Cozy Casita! Great location. Quiet and private. Carol was the perfect host and gave us great suggestions for dining and sight seeing. We really enjoyed our trip to Reno!

I absolutely loved Robert’s place. The apartment was so nice and the bed was very comfortable. Robert communicated very well on all aspects of our reservation. This Airbnb has a great location in South Lake Tahoe. 5 min driving to Heavenly Ski Resort, 1 min driving to Whole Foods, 1 min driving to laundry, 5 min driving to Heavenly Village. Nice 15 min walk to the Marina. It had everything we needed and great backyard. April was nice, helpful and flexible. We had a great stay! 🍀✨

I stayed in the Tahoe unit here for several days and it was a very pleasant. Cozy and close to downtown and also very clean and spacious. It was the perfect Reno retreat for me.

Convenient location in a quiet neighborhood. Particularly appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay there again if I’m ever back in Reno.

Super cozy small place. It was perfect for me and my 2 friends! Great location, we liked checking out the dock on the lake on the first night. Also was really well maintained and clean place!! We kind of didn’t realize that there isn’t a true stovetop (there’s an electric stovetop thing you plug in). Would probably recommend just eating out if you stay here but we’d already grabbed groceries and planned on cooking and it worked out okay! Overall a very cozy weekend stay!

I booked this Airbnb for my parents and aunts, and they absolutely loved their stay! The location was perfect-close to everything they needed. The amenities were fabulous and made their stay really comfortable and enjoyable. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, which gave me peace of mind knowing they were well taken care of. Shirley's place was perfect for our little family. In a great location with all the amenities, it has everything you need - especially when travelling with a toddler. We had the best vacation here and would stay again. We would recommend this to all families and friends!

Noelle was super communicative and the condo was comfortable and well-equipped. It was an easy (and flat) five minute walk to Palisades village and lifts.

The stay was amazing with the family. The room had all the amenties, The balcony had a great view of the mountains. It was quiet. All the restaurants and other activities were very close. The room had board games, puzzles and jenga for the kids. Beach items where in the storage shed. The host had heated blankets so we didn't feel cold at night. Check in and check out was very smooth and the Delores had pretty detailed instruction. Would definitely stay here for the convenience of the location and it was just a home at a different place.

Wonderful place for a peaceful escape from daily life. The neighborhood is quiet yet conveniently located, and the well-stocked kitchen was a big plus. Mihai was incredibly friendly and helpful—always quick to respond. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

Cory's cute condo is at a perfect location. It is ideal for a family who are looking for proximity to snow activities as well as beautiful nature. You can literally crawl to the skiing slopes. Our kids enjoyed the bunk bed, games and the balcony overlooking skiing slopes. We definitely would love to visit again.

Hands down the best vacation we had in Northstar ever. Can’t beat the location and condo has everything you need to feel like home.

We had a lovely stay at Jeanette’s. The place is perfect for our family of 4, very family friendly, clean and a great location. We will definitely be back.
