Cabin holiday rentals in Lake Travis

We’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnbs and this is in our top favorites. We like to unwind, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet and this Cabin provided that and more. We had a wonderful time hanging out in the outdoor living space with our nine month old and enjoying the hot tub in the evening while he slept comfortably inside. Wimberley was a quick and pretty drive away and there was great shopping and restaurants in town. We hope to be back!

We had such a great stay! It was unexpectedly freezing so we made use of the fireplace and of course the hot tub, which was great. The cabin was much bigger than we were expecting - the pictures don’t do it justice! It’s all so beautifully decorated as well. Perfect for a couple and our young kid. Had such a cosy time and wish we had longer! Hopefully we’ll get to come back some day

This was our second time staying here and we really enjoyed it! It’s well stocked and cozy. Very private. We didn’t hear or see another person the entire time. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Perfect weekend getaway. Place was exactly as described. Clean and secluded but a quick drive to all things Wimberley and the surrounding areas. Dry riverbed was great for an easy hike and gave the kids something to explore. Felt safe and the house provided everything we were looking for. Would definitely book again

I have no words to express but it was amazingly beautiful and peaceful place. The Mountain View’s was the best and if you’re really looking for a relaxing & peace weekend this is your best choice ! Especially if you are bringing your fur babies they have a dog park for them love that ! I highly recommend and definitely will be coming back !

My wife and I have a 6 year old and 2 year old. We also have busy careers and haven’t managed to get away, just the two of us, in nearly 7 years. This was exactly what we needed. Everything was clean and beautiful, private, but a short drive to anything one could want. We had a great weekend and will definitely be back.

It was wonderful and peaceful. Brought my own snacks and basically cozied up for 2 days. Loved that they let me bring my dog without a bunch of strict rules. Very quick and easy communication the whole stay. Loved the local recommendations as well. The stay was short but exactly what was needed. In full transparency, the fire heated soaking tub never got warm enough to be comfortable. But I think that’s just because of the aggressively cold, abnormal temps Texas was having. Definitely would stay here again and already recommended it to several people 😂

A beautiful home! We had a blast! With 5 kids under 5 they had it ALL and our kids loved the backyard. We spent the day at beach club in January- they have one pool that is heated to about the level of a hot tub. It was amazing and the perfect family getaway.

Love this hidden little Hill Country gem of a place! Hosts greeted us & gave clear instructions prior to arrival. Friendly goats & chickens! Lots of variety of birds! Really enjoyed the climb down to the hidden deck at the creek. So grateful Patti & David shares their little slice of Heaven with others!

We had a wonderful experience staying at Amustus Ranch. We were referred to this place from friends who loved it for its peacefulness and for being dog friendly. We found it to be ideal! Janet, our host, communicated with us prior and was very responsive to any of my questions. She even left a a 31st anniversary gift of two lovely heart shaped smooth stones from the area and also some delicious baked goodies. She gave us some great recommendations on places to visit and explore as well as where to find the best restaurants. The home had many extras that were available if we found we had forgotten to pack. The property was so large we never found the boundaries! Our two golden retrievers had the BEST time roaming around and exploring trails and sniffing the new smells. We loved watching all of the birds who came to eat at the window. Pedernales State Park is just down the road and we spent an afternoon hiking and exploring there with our dogs. We are definitely coming back soon!

Lots of fun for the kids with the animals and a lovely way to spend a couple nights in the countryside.

Very unique find! Enjoyed our stay here for my birthday weekend. Close to wimberley and nature. Super easy to stay in touch with. I like the unique layout which was easy to keep the group together .

Three girlfriends and I stayed at Drew's cabin for a fun weekend in Spicewood and Marble Falls. Drew was very helpful and responsive when we had questions and the check-in and check-out procedures were easy and well communicated. We cooked dinner and breakfast both days and didn't have any issues with the amenities. The cabin was perfect for us.

We absolutely loved our stay! From the privacy, to the hot tub, to the wood burning fireplace, to the beautiful shower with so many options we felt completely pampered. We actually had a hard time leaving each day, but when we finally got going, we loved exploring Wimberly. We did some hiking, shopping, and ate at some great restaurants and breweries. We’ve already started a list of what we want to do next time we go. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Jonathan and Brittany’s place!

My family and I absolutely loved our 4 days at your gorgeous place. I would totally give a 10-star rating if I could. We will be back.

A perfect gateway for the family, from the drive to just driving onto the property it really feels like a place far from the city/town life from seeing the forestry hills and deers walking around even in the backyard it really was a beautiful sight. The location it self is so well put together as soon as you walk in the door will have you in aw, the fireplace in the living room really sets the mood for the day and the kitchen is amazingly setup for family meals with a lot of dish-ware available. All the rooms were perfect with beds all made and a lot of extra clean linens and blankets for everyone to use, amazing soft blankets by the way and to top it off the pool and jacuzzi were really a highlight for the the adults and kids water was clean and ready to use with so many extra towels for our family. We recommend going to the Exotic Zoo in Jackson city well worth the drive! Will be staying here again most definitely, my family and I enjoyed it so much.

Was amazing me and my girlfriend stayed there we wanted a place by the lake so we could go paddle boarding ( they had fun water toys we did bring our own paddle board but they had some that they let us use! ) there’s also a cute cowboy swimming pool that we used if you want a place to get away from the world this is it!

This was a great place to stay for the F1 weekend or any COTA event. We were super close to the track so we choose to walk about 1 mile to and from everyday which sure beats expensive ubers and stand still traffic. Understanding it was a tiny home with less space, the owners were accomodating for our travel times it was a lovely stay and provided all the amenities we needed for the weekend. Worth every penny and highly consider! Warning - there are a lot of dogs in the neighborhood but they were friendly and will likely say hello if you decide to walk to COTA or the taco stand on the corner.

Nice property that is secluded and quiet while still being near downtown Austin. Firewood was provided along with cooking essentials.

My friends and I went here for a girls night, and it was the perfect getaway. The cabin was a touch hot, luckily I had an extra fan in my car that we were able to use to help cool it down some!
