Great place to hang out if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Had just spent a day moving a family member so the jacuzzi hot tub was just what we needed. Would definitely stay here again!!

Our stay at Elizabeth’s home was just what we needed!! We were looking for a quiet remote place that we could recharge and that was exactly what we found. She had everything you needed to cook your own meals. The evenings and mornings were absolutely perfect! There was so much wildlife to watch. My husband tried the kayak and enjoyed that very much. We tried out the little bar and grill, Escape on 2nd Ave in Reeve and the food was incredible!! We hope to be back again!! We want to try out every season!

We had a fantastic time during our stay. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The area was private and quiet, and we never ran out of things to do. I think our favorite part was enjoying the hot tub during the evening sunset and listening/seeing all the wildlife. We even had a bald eagle fly right over us! We hope to stay again soon!

If you’re looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle and to just relax, this is the perfect place. My girlfriend and I, and our dog Bear, loved this place. Melanie allowing dogs is great and more than appreciated by us. The property is gorgeous and the neigh-bors weren’t too bothersome ;). The horses right out the back door were gentle, docile and very friendly. They loved getting treats for us. They were also pretty comfortable around our dog Bear as well. Easily the best part about this place was the hot tub outside. At night it’s so dark you can see the stars in their full light, there’s no city light drowning them out. We can’t thank Melanie and Denny enough for opening their place up to us. Perfect place to get away from it all for a long relaxing weekend.

We’ve stayed here twice and both times we’ve had a great experience. Clean, tidy. The kids love that they can have their own rooms and also hang out in the ceiling hammocks! We love the foosball table in the basement! Our favorites are the hot tub and sauna. The sunrise views are beautiful. Hosts are very kind, and quick to respond to questions. They had the hot tub serviced during our stay to ensure highest quality water and enjoyment. We’ve recommended to our friends as a great place to stay with the family when you need a nearby getaway with lots of space and quiet!

Great place and a great host! Katelyn responded to messages almost immediately every time we had a question. Place is peaceful and clean! Very satisfied with our trip and will use this location again and again! Also looking forward to trying out the other rental too! Thanks for making our stay enjoyable!

it was a perfect place to visit my son during his spring break at Stout University. Close to everything, yet you feel so far from it all, beautiful, rustic, cozy and well outfitted. I hope to stay there again when I visit my son at school.

We were able to unwind and relax. There was a large picture window facing the lake. It was not unusual to see a doe with her fawn eating clover through the picture window early in the morning. We played pool in the evening and hung out. There were trails we explored and we hunted mushrooms. We mostly just took pictures of the mushrooms. We left the mushrooms for the wildlife to eat. There is always something to do at the Ruffed Grouse Lodge. Or not if you just wish to relax.

Great place for our family reunion (10 adults and 1 kid)! Highly recommended for a peaceful retreat with beautiful surroundings right on the lake.

I wanted a nice, quiet place to go with my dogs for a workcation. Danni's place was perfect for that! Pet-friendly, comfortable, and easy to access areas and activities. Though located next door to the owners, it felt private and secluded. Oh, and I loved the bed--slept so good! :) Thank you.

What a fabulous gem of a place to stay! Felt less like an air bnb and more of a family cabin. We felt right at home, and loved the coziness of the cabin (and wood stove) during standard crummy spring weather- which felt cozy, refreshing and special, rather than crummy, in this context. The wood fire stayed cranking, keeping the cabin warm. Although we ventured into town, we couldn't wait to get back to the cabin. It is as listed- cook on the wood stove inside or grill outside, outhouse, water jugs, a few lamps- so plan accordingly, keep it simple, and you'll have a very relaxing, pleasant stay.

This is our second trip to Liz's place and we love it. My husband loves the sauna outside and I love the view and all the different birds! It has everything you need for a comfy home feeling....thanks for our wonderful stay :)

What a wonderful place to stay! It felt like I was at home, with all of the amenities I needed. Patrick made sure that the dock got put in before we arrived so we could fish, and having access to the canoe and kayak was awesome. Would recommend this place to anyone!

We enjoyed our stay at Clint's place. From the horses in the pasture, to the dogs running happily about the property, it was a great alternative to a hotel and felt like home. We highly recommend it.

This is our fourth stay at Brenda's beautiful barn. Spotless, peaceful, can see millions of stars at night. Her beds and pillows are some of the most comfortable I've slept in. Highly recommend.

Listing was very accurate on the description, no issues. We only really slept there as we were out riding the trails the whole day and it was great for that. Super close to the atv trails! She made sure to get me info on how to get in, in plenty of time. Her and her husband were very nice. The only “complaint” I would say is we got there when it was dark so we couldn’t see which cabin to get to right away cause our gps took us to the one next to it. Definitely would stay again though!!

We had such a great short family get away. The place is so cute, clean and had everything we needed and more. We took a day trip to Wabasha (30 minutes away) and went to the Eagle Center and Slippery's restaurant. On our way back to the airbnb we stopped at Distillery 23 in Nelson (Highly recommend) and had dinner at Corral Bar and Riverside Grill downtown Durand. Jaclynn's place also had games to play, and we end the night doing that. We did also stop in at Durand Brewing Company and would say if you skip it, you're not missing much.

Great location …Place is awesome
